  1. I sure thought so. And then ended minutes later on a 4th down stand. Thank goodness he won’t be burning us anymore!
  2. So we all know he basically won the jets game vs us last year but if I’m not mistaken he was a falcon the year before and he had a huge return against us on their final drive to set them up in great field position to try and win that game.... almost certain of it.
  3. I could take or leave barnwell but he has this signing rated as a B+ which ties it at the top of the FA signing list of his at ESPN. Tied with a handful of others at the top with that grade. He mentions the only thing that kept him from an A was his knack for timely penalties. While that could grow tiresome real quick, I think its evident that this is regarded league wide as a very nice signing. Ty Nsekhe, OT, Buffalo Bills The deal: Two years, $14.5 million with $7.7 million guaranteed Grade: B+ There's a lot to like with Buffalo signing Nsekhe, who was the swing tackle on an injury-hit Washington line last season. The Bills aren't making an enormous commitment to the 33-year-old tackle, given his age, but they did get what amounts to a second-year option if the former Arena League lineman doesn't impress in a starting role. The Bills have a need at tackle, and while I thought general manager Brandon Beane might target former Panthers tackle Daryl Williams, Nsekhe should immediately step in as a starter at one of the two tackle spots. Dion Dawkins struggled in 2018, his first full season as the starter on the left side, while Nsekhe was impressive when filling in for the injured Trent Williams at left tackle. During his four seasons in Washington, Nsekhe started 16 games and allowed just five sacks, per Stats LLC. He notably handled Jadeveon Clowney when Washington faced the Texans last season. There are two concerns keeping this from being an A grade. One is Nsekhe's propensity for penalties. He recorded seven on just 377 snaps a year ago and has 15 across 1,226 offensive snaps from his four seasons in Washington. I would be worried about the penalties popping up in Buffalo, especially given how frequently Josh Allen is inclined to scramble out of the pocket to try to make plays. As Damien Woody noted on Twitter, Nsekhe's offensive line coach in Washington was Bill Callahan, who might very well be the best in football. The Bills just hired new offensive line coach Bobby Johnson, who has been an assistant offensive line coach and a tight ends coach in years past but will be running an offensive line room himself for the first time as an NFL coach
  4. I fairly certain I read he gave up 0 sacks at LT last year. if he was playing LT that game then clowneys sacks didn't come against him..... I think its fairly evident that little tidbit isn't gonna disparage bluesky from trying to piss in this threads cheerios though.... he'll find something else.
  5. pointless hypothetical here..... say the ravens ride flacco to their death last year and brown keeps up his 1100 yd pace or even regress a bit and jussssstt cracks 1000. did we overpay then? and are your views different on him then?...… do you think he can be that 1000 yd guy he was on the way to being before Jackson came in a they took their time machine back to the 1950's? I get that 1000 isn't what it used to be but its still solid. doesn't mean we aren't still looking for a top end #1.
  6. hell yes it is... a full season learning from 2 of the best all purpose backs the league has ever seen.
  7. I felt exactly the same. in fact I actually "LOL'd" here in my office when I saw the news. I then did some digging on numbers and then some reels of last year and was pretty blown away by how well he played. and the pass blocking cant be ignored. he's a clear asset to the locker room and Allen IMO. I would think this means ivory gets the ax and maybe a 3-5 rounder gets spent on a back in april depending on how the first couple picks fall for us.... I wont lose my mind if that doesn't happen but I would hope that's the plan.
  8. ya and people said that the year before... and the year before...... and then he has 700+ in a backup role at 4.6 a tote. absolutely nothing wrong with this signing for a year.
  9. Have you paid attention to the production of anyone that has ran behind the Steelers line over the last 4-5 years? I’m not trying to be a jerk I’m just asking. An over the hill deangelo Williams was resurrected behind it. A couple years later Conner produced big time. When he goes down a mid round rookie steps in a rushes for 130 in a game last year. Bell isn’t gonna be the same back without it. He’s very good. I’m never happen when a talented player is landed by a rival. But the jets line isn’t in the same stratosphere as the Steelers.
  10. I agree 100%. Never want to see a talent like that added to a rival. That being said I’m fairly confident bell behind the jets line is gonna fairly different than bell behind a top 5 Steelers line. The tap dancing in the backfield waiting a full second or 2 for a hole to develop most likely isn’t gonna be afforded to him.
  11. I’ll add in turning down the chance to play out your career in a city of legends that would embrace him in Pittsburgh. Legacy type stuff. Worse team, WAY worse Oline, and probably less long term money. Solid move, bell. Lolol
  12. Zeitler was shipped out for Vernon from NY. Which bolsters the pass rush opposite garret
  13. This guy is indulging here big time for a story. I just watched kim Jones, on the network, talk about her phone call with him. Just said he acted like he needed time to let it marinate.
  14. Let’s not forget Kareem Hunt will most likely be active at some point this coming season. That’s huge. On paper they have some serious heavy hitters.
  15. what I would give for some inappropriate touching nowadays
  16. i'm betting they front loaded it... which makes it a bit better to deal with obviously
  17. i'm gonna go ahead and quote this so it makes it onto the next page
  18. 100% THIS!!! I just had 2 cowboy buddies of mine text and say they were sad to see him go and we got a clutch sure handed wr.
  19. this is arguably the dumbest thing I've seen today. impressive.
  20. if he goes up and makes the snags I saw him making in his reels we wont want him playing special teams. i'm not saying its a given but the dude was making some beautiful catches.
  21. is there a player on last years team that makes this catch?
  22. I wasn’t talking about him. I said duke Williams. The CFL prospect we signed
