Jim Kelly wants to sit down with Josh Allen...
Stank_Nasty replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s comical to me that a handful have such strong opinions on this this. What could he possibly say to Allen to hurt his progression??? Good lord, dude. And Kelly left it vague enough that we don’t even know it’s an X’s and O’s thing. -
Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes

seriously. the guys couldn't even crack the lineups of other teams. that's absurd. -

Oh I remember that play and I cracked up watching it! THAT was Allens #1 option for over half the year.... dude couldn't even crack the lineup of a good squad. that's insane... i'm just gonna assume allens accuracy issues are what landed KB on KC's healthy scratch list ? …. that's the trendy thing to blame around here nowadays. -
Was Mark Kelso the Best FS in Bills History?
Stank_Nasty replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not saying he’s the best but I think Kurt Shulz has always been underrated. A guy that started 5 straight seasons on the really good defenses of the mid to late 90’s and had 2 different 6 int seasons in that span. Heck, the year after he left he had a 7int season in just 11 games for Detroit. -
no way i'll go that far yet. but my point remains the same..... the balls allen is getting crucified for are getting caught all around the league by plenty other wr's making plays for their qb on a weekly basis. hell, big ben has basically made a career off trusting his wr's with the "area code" toss.

Young Bills getting some love from ESPN...
Stank_Nasty replied to Stank_Nasty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I respectfully disagree with this. once he got called back into action he was on about a 1,200 yd pace to close out the last 7 games. I think he very well could end up as a very nice #2 option going into 2019 season. -

right.... I can see how you got that out of me posting a couple of cool reads. I would have posted it from anywhere that I saw it.... and I ended the whole thing by saying that its not anything we didn't already know.... way to take it over the top though. solid take, bruh. you're obviously so much more level headed and much more collected than us mere mortals and our media "yearnings". you've got it figured out. -

Well I personally never said that to begin with..... but this definitely reinforces not firing everyone! -
Couple of bills making the lists here. I looked around a bit on the front page and couldn't find these listed. If they are i'll just take'm off or they can be merged. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/NFL100-2018/100-quarterbacks-players-coaches-executives-issues-shaping-nfl-future The 100 QBs, coaches, issues and decision-makers shaping the NFL 8. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills Yeah, we're going to put all the 2018 first-round QBs on this list because it looks like a class that could help define the league's near-term future. Like Darnold, Allen needs a team built around him. Like Jackson, he showed he could be productive (631 rushing yards, eight TDs) while he still works on his accuracy (52.8 percent). Could he be the next Cam Newton? http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/insider/story/_/id/25818412/biggest-2018-nfl-draft-steals-building-team-players-offense-defense The biggest 2018 NFL draft steals: Building a team on offense, defense Robert Foster, WR, Buffalo Bills Pick: Undrafted The former Alabama wideout did not have a proven track record of success in college, notching a career-high 14 receptions in his senior season with an overall grade of just 48.6. Foster outperformed expectations as an undrafted rookie wide receiver, however. He expanded his role in the Bills' offense as the season progressed, eventually solidifying as one of the top two receiving options for quarterback Josh Allen. Allen looked Foster's way often deep downfield. In Weeks 10-17 -- when Foster began to see consistent snaps -- he recorded 304 receiving yards on passes 20 or more yards downfield, which ranked fourth in the NFL over those eight weeks, trailing only T.Y. Hilton, Tyreek Hill and Antonio Brown. His 72.1 overall grade led all Bills receivers Levi Wallace, CB, Buffalo Bills Pick: Undrafted Wallace didn't see the field until Week 10, but he made an instant impact. Among cornerbacks who logged 200 or more coverage snaps, Wallace ranked in the top five and first among rookie corners in overall grade (83.5) and coverage grade (85.3) in 2018. He allowed only 10 receptions on 19 targets in coverage for just 94 yards, with only 8 total yards allowed coming after the catch. Wallace's 0.45 yards allowed per coverage snap ranked first among all cornerbacks, and over the course of the Bills' final seven games, he committed no penalties. Basically all stuff we already knew. But cool to see all these young names popping up! very excited about the future!

Beings that I own and operate my own 24/7 access fitness facility with around 250 active members and have been working, personally, with everyone from high school and lower level college athletes to senior citizens that can barely move for a little less than a decade(still not very long in the grand scheme) now I think i'm finally gonna chime in here..... As always with fitness, its a topic that everyone thinks they know about, but few actually do. This isn't nearly as complex as some are making it sound in here. maintaining fairly nutrient dense eating habits and practicing moderation wont break your bank. In fact, for the topic at hand(obesity/weight loss) I would argue we can throw healthy food out of the equation. Science is finally catching up with fitness over the last 10-15 years and dispelling numerous myths. but what its really done is show us ONE thing. weight loss or weight gain is due to one main factor. CALORIES IN VS CALORIES OUT. END OF STORY. Now all calories are not created equal and I wouldn't advise anyone to go out and get them all from fast food. but the bottom line is if you keep track of what you are eating. if you account for it. and you end up at a caloric deficit at the end of the day...…. you will lose weight(barring some odd medical conditions or outliers) they offer free(YES FREE) apps to track this sort of thing. MyFitnessPal is one that I set every single one of my clients up with during our first session. its INVALUABLE for my wrestlers all year round, as I refuse to work with any that still maintain the old school mentality of how to lose weight before the season starts. as for these beaten and battered men not being able to move to exercise? I don't buy it. I refuse to. the amount of people that have come to me barely being able to move from prior injuries that now have something that at least comes close to a normal movement pattern is a long list. senior citizens with artificial knees to athletes looking to further rehab and strengthen themselves. there are plenty of non-impact machines in my facility and many more state of the art machines in corporately owned ones that can afford much more than I can. not to mention a ridiculously long list of non-impact movements that can be performed with minimal equipment. all it takes is educating ones self, people. the info is out there.... and finding yourself a reliable fitness professional with a clean track record of HEALTHY MOVING individuals in his/her wake. when people move well, they feel well. people that feel well move more. move more and results usually follow..... these players most likely have the money and resources to educate themselves or find somebody that with the proper credentials to help them. I have a hard time feeling like they are completely helpless. In summation. its not "rocket surgery". EDUCATE, ACCOUNTABILITY, MODERATE..... just those 3 words can transform somebodies body. (this isn't for somebody trying to get into elite physical form for a stage or field of play. we are talking about weight loss here)

Top to bottom, overall. Ya it could definitely be argued. But as far as 2 rookies coming in and absolutely dominating at an all pro level.... at 33 I may not see it again in my lifetime. As for the topic. I like our rookies as well.... I think there’s a strong possibility we are looking back at this year’s rookie class as the ones that flipped the script for us in 5-10 years.

didn't somebody already call you out for cherry picking stats earlier? we had the #2 yardage defense. that is correct..... did you actually keep a straight face when you said "we had the number 2 defense"??….. without cracking a smile tell me you think our defense was 2nd best overall in the league. i'll give'm top ten. I like the D for the most part. but the ravens were 1st in yards and 2nd in scoring. you wanna toss the bills into that hat? seriously.... stop it with that nonsense. and you realize that going from a none objective homer to the exact polar opposite is just as irrational right?.... I mean you are basically "that guy" lately. maybe someday you'll find a sensible middle ground.

I've been lurking more than anything else lately.... doesn't it seem like he recently really put it into overdrive after allens strong finish? allen finishes out his 6 games showing progression and basically as a one man team and instead of optimism about said progress, he really kicks it into another gear he doubles down on the criticism..... whats up with that??
-
this is completely false. maybe the everyday average fan that pays attention only to the media(or you)…. I live in the tri-state area, erie pa, where the fans are split pretty evenly between browns bills and steelers(slightly "stiller" heavy)….. and every other knowledgeable fan of other teams that I know in this area, that actually pays attention, has told me they think things are looking up for allen after the last half the of season. i'm sure you'll scoff at that, and fight it tooth and nail because that's your thing....but that's the pulse I've gotten around here. if I saw allen do what he did in the 2nd half of the season for a division rival, I would be worried. he obviously needs big strides in areas but I would be worried.

Out Of Divison Rivals
Stank_Nasty replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Living about 90 min from the outskirts of Pittsburgh and roughly the same from orchard park here in Erie, Pa, makes the every 3 year game they play pretty chippy around here. You either love the “Stiller’s” around here or you HATE them because you have to deal with their self absorbed, holier than thou fan base. The whole lot of them act as though they as fans are gracing the nfl and the rest of the nation with their presence..... so losing to them consistently every 3 years for about 15 years now has got me and any other bills fans I know around here fairly cranky on the matter. -
I’ll admit I know next to nothing about this kid other than he’s fairly large and people have said he needs to run well this spring to solidify a high draft slot. My take away is that, while very valuable, speed can be overrated and I love this dude. Makes plays for his qb and makes up for what looks to be pedestrian field speed(he gets caught a couple times) with ELITE field vision. Sign me up.
