  1. Watching Brady do it for years has been maddening. And, like I said, I see plenty of teams with big bodied, qb’s not doing it. I have to wonder if it’s a bit more of an art form than we think and not every big bodied qb has “it”. Maybe Allen just happens to be especially slippery with it.... much like Brady. That wasn’t a sneak like he’s referring to though.
  2. Brady has been doing it for years and I’m surprised more teams with larger qb’s than him don’t utilize it as much. Im grateful it’s in our teams toolbox now. It’s gonna open up chunk plays to the outside later on down the line.
  3. Just saw a stat on Allen..... of the 2,092 yds over the last 6 games since he came back, he accounted for 1,718. That’s a mere 62 yds a game from anyone not named Allen. The dude came back from his injury, had next to nothing to work with, went 3-3 and was quite literally a one man offense..... all as a rookie.
  4. Have always loved rivers. I’d like to see him make a run. Same with brees
  5. I was just chatting today with somebody about this. He was a cowboys fan. He was the one that actually brought it up.... can you imagine the buzz from the media and send off a player would get from around the league if they played for the cowboys or the Steelers or pats and they were 5 time pro bowler that played with said team the whole 13 years of their career?
  6. So glad I got over my little b**ch fit from Sunday and decided to make the game this week. Hopefully he takes a lap and I can brush hands with a bills legend. 143 ROW 1.
  7. I’m fairly certain the lions had a spy on him plenty. So did the fins. The fins were just awful with it though.
  8. Wr’s making plays for their qb. How novel.
  9. With the default repsonse “the receiver dropped it BUT Allen should have made a better pass” AKA Allen needs to lodge it in between a couple of ribs and make it stick because our wr’s suck, but let’s blame the qb..... ?
  10. 100% agree. It’s pathetic that I’m surprised and excited when we “pop” one for 5 or 6 yds on first down..... and then when you watch a team today run all over us. Just maddening.
  11. That would involve having to drop back to pass
  12. Cue the “well the receiver should have caught it, but Allen should have thrown it better”..... as in wedged it into his face mask.
  13. Apparently that’s what a run game looks like.
  14. And the drops continue. What a joke. Sorry i hit you in the hands.
  15. I dunno how losing the ball out of your own endzone as opposed to the opponents is comparable. I think theres a clear difference. I mean..... theres a big enough gripe that theres a topic and a video on it.... that should say enough I would think.
  16. awesome stat..... at some point the elite rushers get home though. that would be nice to see.
  17. I always chuckle when people rush to this dudes defense around here and just automatically call him an excellent coach. The ravens have made the playoffs ONCE since their title run in 2012 and will most likely miss out again this year if they lose to the chargers this week. Thats a QB and a coach living off a title run from 6 years ago. Luckily for them they finally realized it with Flacco.
  18. This is exactly what a couple of friends and I just discussed Monday night when it happened. It think ruling it a TO is atrocious. Loss of down. Take it back to the 20. That’ll never happen. But I think it’s a good option
  19. Fair enough. I just think some are confused on why you would bring up the designed run play to seal the game as an example of him taking it upon himself.
  20. geez they have totally played out the white on whites.
  21. Have been saying all year that this was the year to get a guy for the future.... another year or 2 will see brady and ben leave and its gonna bust wiiiiiiddddeee open!
