  1. I gotta wonder if dawkins could kick over to RT if we draft a guy like Williams.... might be easier to find a quality vet guard or draft one. rather than do that with RT. so many teams have 2 good edge rushers anymore. That rt slot is more important now than it ever has been IMO.
  2. I think maybe even a majority of bills fans don't really understand how good white has been.
  3. obviously it hinges on how Wallace finishes this year, but he and Johnson are sooooo young and have played really really well.... next years secondary could be SCARY good. i'm really excited for guys like him and foster. even mkcenzie for that matter.... really exciting seeing the potential plugs to holes before the season even ends.
  4. if Wallace finishes out the season the same way he's started I see no need here.
  5. I gotta admit I thought this was a really stupid thread title when it started awhile back...…. but now i'm really starting to wonder. And that's a pretty awesome!!!
  6. I've had a hard on for Mayfield since like 2015. I freaking love that dude... and I agree with you for the time being. I was talking more about allens detractors in general. most just don't like how the yds are coming about. I think that's silly...… I think we all can agree allen needs to really improve upon his passing. I also think we could probably all agree said problem would look much better if he had what Mayfield had in front of him and around him. Quinn isn't really a writer. he's a former NFL qb in the media that thinks allen is doing a hell of a job. and he's the 3rd former NFL qb in the media to say so over the last 10 days or so including 2 other simms qb's….. but what do they know, right? stupid "writers"
  7. lots of work to do. but my goodness I love seeing Beane fill some holes before the offseason even starts. Wallace, Foster, and Mckenzie have been gems. excited to see how Levi finishes out the season.
  8. people don't like how he's doing it. that's all..... lame right? I know.
  9. he's referencing his overall numbers over 3 games and the % of the offense he's accounting for. they happen to be the last 3 games since his injury. you may not understand this but he had time to sit and develop a bit more so the 2nd half the season has been a little more crucial and telling than the first half.....you are obviously hung up on one certain aspect of his game that needs work and cant understand or comprehend anyone bringing up other aspects that are phenomenal or the context in which he's doing it. I think its fairly evident what the majority around here thinks of you. have a nice day. he didn't. you have serious issues understanding all aspects of the game and you may want to consider watching something else if you cant grasp anything more than raw passing stats.
  10. Right. Because that’s what I said.
  11. So far in the last couple weeks I’ve seen actual former nfl qb’s(Quinn and Simms) talk about the lack of team around Allen and how impressive he’s actually been. Meanwhile on this board I see armchair qb’s telling us all how awful he’s been. Heck, some “fans” (jrober) even fabricating lies about certain throws, and where they ended up, to keep the narrative going.... Really solid stuff. SOLID. S. M. H.
  12. I think lack of separation is the main problem with them and then when you team that problem up with the line giving Allen no time, it’s a recipe for disaster. The kid is really polishing this turd as good as he can. How people refuse to see these issues, I’ll never know. You put any of the other early drafted qb’s in this scenario and it would be UGLY. I dunno how many of them could deal with it physically. Darnold was already leading the league in picks. How many would he toss if he was running for his life ROUTINELY? And then I wonder if Jackson maybe stood a chance but if he got licked as hard has Allen does weekly he would be broken already.
  13. Ya he totally missed your point. The point you can routinely look around the league and see wr’s and te’s reward their qb’s “area code” throws..... until you watch a Bills game.
  14. ESPN's QBR is a very debatable stat. but I like that it takes in MANY factors including rushing..... Allen is actually 19th in the NFL in QBR that's fairly impressive given he's a rookie, he's running for his life routinely, and his wr's and te's sorta suck. I don't think he's the best rookie qb, but he's actually got a better QBR than any other rookie qb. I was pleasantly surprised by that.
  15. 300 total yds in back to back games....I get it. you are one of those guys that cares HOW they get it and not that the ball was getting moved in general. I get it.... its just lame.
  16. I begrudgingly admit shady has obviously lost a step..... but does anyone remember a couple of years ago when gurley was coming off a productive season and had to deal with an offense with a rookie qb, and no weapons on the outside? funny what changing those can do to free a guy up...… but ya. i'll still admit he may just be done.
  17. They are 12th in the league in 3rd down%. So not that bad really. I think the main thing separating them from solid to very good is the pass rush you talked about. They are actually tenth in the nfl in sacks. But it’s too hot and cold. They come in spurts. No consistency.
  18. The sad part is I don’t think he does.
  19. He was solid in the jags game OVERALL. He was GOOD in the Miami game. And he wasn’t good Sunday. He’s got to get better as a passer. I’m generally inclined to think that not running for his life behind a sieve of line would be a good start to that. He’s literally been asked to do everything as a rookie on a team with no talent. I get it. You won’t acknowledge his overall impact passing AND rushing. Or any other context that has anything to do with the team around him. That’s fine. Do your thing. That doesn’t mean it’s not stupid and that people aren’t gonna point that out. The guy has accounted for 260 of 340 yds against the jags. 360 of the 415 against the fins and then 310 of the 360 vs the jets. He’s on his own. And running for his life doing it.
  20. I’m glad you decided to only post the passing stats. And not total yds and tds It says a lot about what anyone trying to talk to you is dealing with. Of course we should just discount over 300 yds in the last 3 games just because it was rushing, right? Its better to only look at half the picture and post the stats that prove your crap points. Makes PERFECT sense. While we’re at it. It nice you left out the fact that he made all the plays he needed to on what should have been a game winning drive in Miami and then drove his team down to take the lead last week with 2 min left. Thank you for this. Let’s just post half his numbers with no context. Speaks volumes.... the only thing that’s crap around here is your posting. Not Allen.
