Allen: “Hey Ramsey...am I still trash?” Hahaha
Stank_Nasty replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the funniest part of ramseys idiotic statements was that during his preseason interview he praised mobile qb's like Mariota as being tough to defend and directly referenced their legs.... fast forward to november and after 90+rush yds from allen and he sits in the locker room, ho hums around the performance, and tries to downplay saying that most of it just came on the ground..... -
not every throw is gonna be perfect or even good. players around the nfl make similar plays for their qb's regularly. there are qb's that have made a fair amount of their livings off of "area code" throws. Big Ben comes to mind.

One was in the opener vs jets at the goal line that was almost housed. I can’t recall the other one.... I can, however, recall another drop where he got hit right in the hands, AGAIN, and dropped a huge td to end out the half in NE right before the KB “non-catch”. I still maintain a td at the end of the half there really could have changed the flow of that game. The only really big time clutch play I can recall from him was coming down with the deep ball in ATL last year. He generally came up small in big moments. I don’t think the team will miss him a bit.

I wouldn’t waste your typing on the guy. Usually there’s a type of person that just blames the juice right off the bat.... and it’s not the type of person that would bother listening to anything knowledgeable on the subject. I brought up my highschool athletes that I work with personally. They aren’t nearly the genetic freaks that these nfl prospects are and a handful have the ability to pack on unreal amounts of lean mass. So much so that I scale certain intensities and modalities back. And where does he go with it?... well it’s obviously the juice. Not much. That’s what I tried to tell you.

Clay is the headliner of a “deep FA TE market”????

The most impact he ever made for the bills was the drop this year in Miami saving us 8 draft slots. Adios, bruh.

theres a ton wrong in here..... I make a lions share of my living working with young athletes..... I have a handful of wrestlers right now at 16-18 yrs old that literally seem to grow muscle if they even stare at weights too long. one of which went from 185 to just over 200 from april to august of last year and had a lower bf% at 202. in fact our whole in-season workout plans revolve around maintaining the power and strength gained through the offseason while not packing on the muscle some of their bodies are naturally looking for. its very hard line to walk. i'm not gonna get into the science of all this or why its possible....but it is. and you clearly don't know nearly as much as you think you do.

Ravens trading Joe Flacco to Broncos

from 7 years ago..... that literally pertains to the present time 0%.... you're hilarious. who else should the broncos go get because they were good at one time a decade ago? this is fun. I like this. this might be a foreign concept to you. novel, i'm sure..... but you can realized a player was good a while ago and understand now that they aren't the same player and havnt been for quite some time.... ITS A CRAZY CONCEPT, RIGHT???!!! -

right. me not liking one playoff berth since 2012 and a 1.4 td/int ratio over the last 3 seasons is "what have you done for me this millisecond" type of thinking. BTW that ratio is ranked 34th during that span. theres a myriad of other numbers he's been subpar at as well if you want me to list them...... but ya, because I think a below average qb that's passed his prime isn't gonna take a defense that's passed its prime to the playoffs i'm a "this millisecond" type of thinker.... get a clue, man. denvers defense hasn't been elite since that run..... but then again you are still talking about flaccos run from 7 years ago. -

how in gods name does this have anything to do with how he's played over the last handful of years? Baltimore has moved on. soon so will the rest of the nfl. you are arguing that since a dude won a title almost a decade ago that it somehow makes him worthwhile now.... that's just really really stupid. he hasn't been good. -

my bad. he's still good because of a 4 game run 7 years ago. great points here!.... what was I thinking. GEEZ. -

the bomb against the broncos was 100% awful throw. the safety, Morris, completely blew that play.... it was an awful throw and should have ended the game. -

everyone is entitled to an opinion... that doesn't mean its right or a good one. literally everything from win/loss records to his numbers state the opposite of what you are saying. why do people always fall back on that? …. "well its my opinion. it cant be wrong" my prediction is this gets the broncos absolutely nowhere. -

this is awesome. its blows my mind how much a playoff run nearly a decade ago clouds peoples judgment on this guy.... he's been barely average ever since. -

this is so false.... the guy has been the definition of average since his run to the title and that's being nice. -
Looking Back I wish we traded for Mack

I've been hearing the pressures argument for hughes as a bandaid for him for 3 years now. i'm over it. the good ones get home. PERIOD. he's a nice player. solid. i'm glad he's on the team..... he wasn't more disruptive than mack. I love how you use pressures as the ONE stat to measure disruptiveness and then act like everything else is opinion. convenient. this really isn't worth the argument though because I actually really enjoy hughes for the most part. so.... you win I guess? -
fair enough. I was just looking at raw cumulative numbers.

Hughes was more disruptive than Mack? And we are basing this all off of pressures, am I correct???.... man, I’ll have some of whatever you are smoking! Good lord. -
Williams has never returned an nfl kick or punt and Patterson has never been pretty good at wr…. soooo i think you'd still need both stones to kill 2 birds. i'd really like brown and McCoy on board though!

2-5-1 under Jackson. 5-3 under Williams. It’s not unrealistic at all for somebody to argue that Jackson’s coaching and sitting of mayfield is a primary reason they weren’t in the playoffs. Not sayinf they were some sort of shoe in. But it’s debatable they could have at least made it for sure. -
Brown was on pace for well over 1000 yds on the season and was making big plays for Flacco before Jackson took over and rendered the wr’s obsolete in Balt. I’d welcome him with open arms. Also beasley would be a welcome addition. Surprised these 2 havnt been mentioned by others more in this thread.

jimmy had an awesome career. I think he very well might be the most underrated wr of all time. averaged over 1,000 yds a season in the age right before this passing era. henry Ellard is another name i'd bring up. Over 13,700 yds in 15 season.... way before the league was throwing the ball like it is now.
