  1. don't sleep on duke Williams.... I havnt seen zay make a single catch like duke was making up north.
  2. lolol. dude he had 130 yds in the 7th game of the season and then a couple of rough games. its not like his production had halted for a bunch of games.... the dude had 550 at the midway point with one qb and then barely cracked 100 the rest of the year. just stop.
  3. uh ya. a qb with an arm.... that's the point. the pass game fell off the map in general once Jackson started. apparently you missed that.
  4. i'm just quoting this so more people can educate themselves when they say stupid things about it not being a solid signing.
  5. brown had 550 yds and 4 td in his first 8 games before Jackson took over.... so he was more than getting it done before the ravens jumped back to the 1950's
  6. ohhhhh i didn't see the date meh, regardless, he had 12 sacks in 17 and then was on pace for 8-10 more last year before he went down.
  7. profootballreference has him listed as 29
  8. 700 yds at 4.6 a pop last year. its not flashy but all the dude does is go forward
  9. right... that's exactly what i'm saying. deals will be settled today. they'll be waiting with a pen to sign on wed.
  10. Oh man, I would say it’s way more than chatter. Last year a bunch of the heavy hitters were settled and just waiting for a pen by the time FA “officially” started.
  11. Thank you. I’ve been saying this for over a year now. We’ll see how he performs when he doesn’t have a top 3 line giving him a full second to pick a hole or a top 5 pass game to back defenses off.
  12. Fowler isn’t a difference maker. One player has at least shown consistency. I could take or leave either one but Fowler hasn’t been any good.
  13. 16 sacks in 3 years. 8 of which came in one year. He really hasn’t been very good. The only thing he has over Barr is age
  14. this couldn't be more false.... ben has been sacked a grand total of 45 times over the last 2 seasons. 27 other qb's were sacked more than him in 17 and 25 other qb's were sacked more than him this last year. not to mention they have basically plugged any back they want into the lineup and gotten production. I live in "stiller" country. I can assure you all their fans agree it is one of their strongest assets. its the main reason his career has been prolonged after the absolute beating he took early on in his career.... your statement is horribly off base.
  15. Rapaport just doubled down on GMFB. Saying it’s aggressive and it’s contingent on AB showing up. That’s the big hang up. Says bills are most aggressive to finish out segment
  16. fair enough... i'm sick and probably a little more gritty today than I should be. I disagree that the defense, as a whole, wasn't a solid unit. regardless our preferences for the offseason are the on same page.
  17. yup. lets just look at 2 stats..... one of which they are middle of the pack. they didn't play the run bad. good talk
  18. totally disagree. 2nd in total yds against, 8th in total TO's forced, and a 8th in 3rd down%(that's a big one). those are important numbers.... middle of the pack in rush d and points against. if you're worst stats are only middle of the pack you are a stout unit.... all with an anemic offense for most of the year. a pass rush gives them the ability to be a top 5 unit. I wont be mad about a pass rusher at 9. I have other preferences but I would understand it and it would make the defense a force.
  19. if its a one year prove it deal and they are most likely not gonna spend all the cap then does it really matter? I could take him or leave him. but if its only one year toss him a bone and see if he can go up and make some plays.
  20. i agree. I think its whats separating them from the handful of elite defenses in the league. pass rush was moody and inconsistent last year and mostly came up small in large moments. add a rusher to an already stout defense and I think its a top 3-5 unit.
  21. ya I remember it well. I remember being there thinking "we picked a good qb off this many times and are still gonna lose". disheartening... on a side note, weather-wise, it was probably the coolest game I've ever been to. brisk and dry. huge snowflakes. was a really neat atmosphere that day.
