Can't put this Tampa game in the same mix as Tennessee and New England.. I don't love fades to WR's that don't have a big size advantage but Diggs had his man beat, the throw was there, and the refs allowed that to be taken away from us with one of the more egregious missed calls of the entire NFL season. This game is not the same.

Play Allen, tell the team to sack up and put the game out of reach early so we can get him out of there. Yesterday showed this team can still win a Super Bowl if they make the playoffs. When you have an elite QB and some talent around him, that's on the table.... even for a very flawed team like us. Do they have enough consistency to win 4 straight to guarantee themselves that shot? We'll seem they haven't shown it all year... not sure I want to start this stretch of finding out with our season riding on Mitch Trubisky.

You know it's bad when fans of 30 other teams are on Twitter telling us we got robbed. Refs influence way too many games every year, but only a few of them are this egregious while being in a (predominantly) national game. This was one of them. The "take care of business and don't rely on the refs" crowd need to holster that argument today. Normally, I somewhat agree, but when two evenly matched teams play, it typically comes down to a few plays, and those plays just cannot consist of a game altering referee call/missed call.

Diggs and Davis are a great starting point next year, but the OP isn’t necessarily wrong. First things first though.. fix the OL.

Allen should only be used like that in the Playoffs. Once again, our lack of running game and OL issues continue to derail our season. We can start Mitch and hope for the best against Carolina, but we have no room for error. We’re in the 7 spot due to a logjam.. looking at the playoff machine, there’s a reasonable scenario where we beat Carolina and still go into the Patriots game on the outside looking in. It will all sort itself out if we win out, but that shows how dire of a situation we put ourselves in.

I used to believe this. Not anymore. Those were two evenly matched teams and one of them got calls, the other didn’t. Bills should’ve had 1st and Goal with 22 seconds left to win. Instead we went to OT. Even in OT they got the benefit of a call that was flagged in one sided fashion all day. With all due respect, **** off with the “we shouldn’t have depended on the refs” talk after this game.

I feel sick for Josh Allen. That guy deserved his MVP moment tonight.

I want to believe in his potential, but I’m pretty much done with him.

Either by incompetence or something much worse, the NFL has a huge referee issue. When every week a huge game ends and the refs are trending, that’s not a good thing.

Biggest frustration this year, aside from the team, is d-bags like this using it as an excuse to bag on Allen.

There’s no way this is a reason, because if it is….. omg, blow this team tf up. Everyone is dealing with this… you don’t see Tampa or GB off the rails.

Best I’m hoping for is the playoffs. With the schedule they have left, that’s doable. If they don’t make it, take a machete to the coaching staff. I know McBeane won’t be fired but they need to face some accountability for this. Then take that same machete, regardless of what happens, and slice up the OL and DL. Then, finally, take that machete and cut ties with Edmunds. Don’t you dare waste more money on this defense for a player like him.

We’re down 21 and the team around him is absolute trash… whatever… He has to do something. I can’t fault him. I’m absolutely irate at this FO/Coaching right now.

To those who don’t even want to put McDermott on the hot seat… how do you explain away this? He and Beane are on the same page. This product on the field is unacceptable for a scrub team, let alone what we were supposed to be.

Didn’t think we’d win. Didn’t think it would be this bad. Im beginning to absolutely despise this FO for what they did with the roster around Allen.

McDermott needs to be grilled after this game over this teams roster development and construction. They are barely even competitive today.
