  1. If a couple high level IOL hit Free Agency, and Beasley is the difference between completely revamping our OL, I'm cutting Beasley and drafting a WR early. Josh behind top of the line OL throwing to Diggs, Davis, Knox and say... Jameson Williams 6'2 burner from Bama is worth salivating over.
  2. Massive game too. Raiders (6-7) are in a must win situation and the Browns are right in the mix at 7-6.
  3. Yea, I wouldn't be upset if we moved off Morse. I just think he's solid, and would be much better with two talented Guards next to him. I'd be more inclined to cut/trade Williams and cut Feliciano. Then take a machete to the DL with Addison/Butler gone and Hughes cut or back on a reduced salary.
  4. I might keep Morse and then focus on bolstering both Guard spots. Hughes, Addison and Williams alone free up a good bit of money. Williams could be a trade chip.
  5. True, but Tampa also got a great spot and inconsistent PI to aid their game winning drive. We all know it should’ve never even gotten to OT though, so I’m really not interested in playing this game. Most games where we whine about refs, sure, take some ownership… but this game was different. The fans of 30 other teams all know it too.
  6. Dane and Levi held up against, arguably, the most difficult to defend passing attack in the NFL. I think Levi needs to be a priority FA to retain.
  7. If NE loses to Indy and Buffalo, they might not be making the playoffs... they need to cool it. My rational side wants NE to beat Indy because I just care about getting Josh into the Playoffs, where he can become super saiyan. My emotional side keeps hearing all this chirping from NE fans and might want to risk a decrease in playoff odds at a hypothetical 10-7 to take back the AFCE next weekend.
  8. Man... no offense, but i hate everything about this post. We have balance if we priority address the Offense this offseason. 1st Round DT. Big money DT. 1st Round EDGE. 2nd Round EDGE (x2). Paid LB. 1st Round LB. Paid CB. Paid Safety. I mean, what more do we need to do... figure it out... draft a space eater behind Star, try to bring back Harry and Levi and be done with it. Meanwhile Josh is out there having to be Peyton Elway with JAG RB's, 1 or 2 lineman worth building around (assuming Dawkins ever remembers who he is) and one weapon anyone has to worry about in Diggs. Knox, Beasley & Davis are nice pieces but not when that's all we've got. I want laser focus on the Offense from this FO in the Offseason. No BPA that leads us down the path to another high defensive pick. No more wasted cap space on rotational DL.... Pay the price to protect Josh. Full stop.
  9. Teller and Landry on COVID list with positive tests. Big loss for them if they can't play @ Denver this weekend.
  10. He still generates pressure, but yes - I agree - he's underwhelming. I am talking a reduced.. reduced salary. We need a 4th pass rusher and it should probably be a vet with the 3 guys on the books being a 3rd year guy and two 2nd year guys. I'm not opposed to looking elsewhere, but we have enough investment on this defense already... I want at least 70% of our asset allocation this offseason going to help Josh. Re-signing Levi and Harry, salary reduction for Hughes and a mid-round DT sounds about right. Totally fine going after a mid-tier/top-tier EDGE as well, but not at the expense of the Offense.
  11. I think, with a better OL next year, Singletary is fine. He's very average at running, blocking and receiving, but does have above average elusiveness in tight space. If we can open holes that get him into the second level, he's explosive in that area. He won't outrun a ton of guys but he will turn a bunch of 8-10 yards runs into 15-20. Given the want to have more balance / ability to run when needed next year, I would think we want to upgrade that position. At the very least bringing in competition for Singletary that isn't a JAG. Then rotating those two backs, with the winner of that battle being the primary.
  12. Part ways with Butler and Addison. Bring back Hughes on a reduced salary, if he's willing. Re-sign Levi Wallace and Harrison Phillips. Draft a 1 tech in the 4th Round. Everything else goes to Offense. Allen, Singletary, Diggs, Beasley, Davis, Stevenson, Brown, Dawkins, Knox.. Everyone else is upgradeable. I'd be inclined to keep Morse for another year if we can get two stud Guards next to him. Darryl Williams could potentially be a trade piece. Cut Feliciano.
  13. I have to check out of the officiating talk from Sunday, because it’s now Tuesday and I’m still fuming over it. After hearing the commentary from former players and media, reading articles, all calling out the egregiously one-sided officiating, it’s becoming really hard to believe this is simply just incompetence….and I don’t want to be thinking that.
  14. If I was absolutely sure we’ll beat NE I’m two weeks, I’d absolutely be rooting for Indy on Saturday. Im not. I hope something clicked on Sunday for us, but I’m not sure how any of us can really trust this team. I just want as many avenues to the playoffs open to us as possible. If Indy loses to NE and AZ, they have 8 losses and aren’t a worry for a potential 10-7 Bills. With Josh Allen, just get in. Anything can happen when you have an elite QB. Obviously I’d rather finish 11-6 and win the division if I had the ability of foresight.
  15. Hey, if someone values the division, I certainly understand that. I just don’t really care about that. For me, I’d rather get in, and honestly, come January - with the way this team is currently constructed - we might be better off playing Tennessee in Tennessee rather than say Indy again at home.
  16. Get in at all costs… yes that includes rooting for the Pats to beat Indy. Id rather keep all options to the postseason open than potentially win the division. Not too worried about playing all of our playoff games outside Buffalo given the make up of this years team.
  17. There’s only a few different simulations that keep us out with a 3-1 finish, but the problem is those simulations don’t seem far fetched. I’ve done a bunch with us at 10-7 that seem very likely and we get in. Others at 10-7, also make sense, and we don’t get in. With so many teams playing each other down the stretch, it’s impossible to predict what may happen.
  18. There's typically 2 or 3 games like this per year. Games in the national spotlight where the officials, quite literally, determine the outcome of the game. Every year, this happens the next day. Nothing ever changes. I turned on the radio at work and Greeny was on air absolutely torching the officials for what happened in our game. Former players and blue checkmark ESPN/Fox personalities are all over Twitter today openly questioning how what happened to us, happened. Fans & Commentators alike will flip out for a few days and then we'll just move on until it happens again to someone else. Zero accountability in this league.
  19. What AFC teams do you think are? Everyone in this conference is as flawed as us. Some are more complete, but Josh Allen is the equalizer there. Look no further than our WC game vs Indy last year.
  20. That hinges on the NE/IND game. If that happens, and Indy wins, we are out of the playoffs come Monday morning. However, that also sets up the game in Foxboro for the Division.
  21. Yup.. Indy/NE is a tough one with not knowing how the Bills/Pats rematch plays out. Beat NE and we, of course, will have wanted Indy to win. Lose to NE, well then.. we will have hoped NE beat them as we all become Cardinals fans.
  22. This week should provide a lot of clarity to what we're looking at down the stretch.. KC/LAC LV/CLE NE/IND TEN/PIT CIN/DEN GB/BAL Strangely enough, there's a very real scenario consisting of Indy beating New England that results in us out of the Playoffs, even with a win over Carolina, on Monday morning. Of course, that then sets up the battle for the AFCE in Foxboro.
  23. Could be a blessing in disguise for next year. We need our premium picks for other positions, and from what i've seen from Jackson, we should feel pretty confident in a CB unit that consists of Tre, Dane and Levi on the outside (I do think Levi is worth re-signing).
