  1. I agree PIT is a big game for the tiebreaker purposes and the fact we already lose that with Houston, but every week is not a “must win” unless we think NE trips up a bunch. 13-4 might be the 1 seed record.
  2. I feel like you haven’t looked at the schedules of those around us. Not just from an “oh, they’re difficult” standpoint, because Jax aside, they all are but a lot of these teams also play each other. Houston & KC play each other KC and LA play each other LA & Houston play each other BAL & PIT play each other, twice Indy has 3 losses and every single one of their remaining games is tough
  3. Rams CRUSHED the 3rd Round lately Kam Kinchens Kobie Turner Byron Young Josiah Stewart To go with Fiske in the 2nd and obviously Jared Verse in the 1st. Absurd defensive hit rate.
  4. My Guess: Palmer Shakir Cooks Davis Shavers Shavers takes a step back and is more WR5/ST’s Keon, Gameday Inactive, or if they think he’s salvageable, actually try to move him around Samuel, IR Moore, Cut
  5. Josh Allen and Brandon Beane.
  6. I think he’s about 2M if I read correctly. Thats 2M we can’t roll over but I think we’re cutting a lot of dead weight next year anyway.
  7. For as meh as this WR room is, it’s clear Joe Brady is the biggest issue with this Offense right now.
  8. Cooks made it VERY clear that he’d only go to a few places.
  9. I get clowning Beane over this, but yall know you’d be clowning him worse if Cooks went to LA instead.
  10. Brandin Cooks, get ready to learn MESH buddy.
  11. Im guessing the 53 will have Palmer, Davis, Cooks, Shakir, Shavers, Coleman when all is said and done. Moore probably gets cut and is Samuel on IR? If he isn’t, just stash him there with Hardman and bring him back if it doesn’t work with Cooks or someone else gets hurt.
  12. Didn’t think they’d get him with the Rams as the other team involved. It’s very clearly worth the move and he gives us another potentially competent WR on the outside. Palmer, Davis, Cooks and Shakir at least gives me some hope if they can gel with JA down the stretch.
  13. We’ve got players out here posting on Threads?? This team is more far gone than I thought. But, if Cooks has anything left in the tank, it’s obviously worth it to bring him in and see if we can get any semblance of passing chemistry going with Palmer, Shakir, Davis and Cooks down the stretch.
  14. Can we get to a point where we enter the postseason only down Oliver and Hoecht of note? Everyone else can/should come back this season. Keeping anyone healthy seems impossible on this team, but getting guys back and ready for the playoffs, even at 80-90%, should be the goal. Everyone who is playing is banged up this time of year. It is what it is. I think it was last year or two years ago, Maxx Crosby was a terror down the stretch in meaningless games. Day after the season ends, gets surgery. Biggest issue, aside from just getting there, is developing any continuity down the stretch when we have the most fragile team I’ve ever witnessed. I just want to see this team in the playoffs, for once, without massive injury excuses. And if they can right the injury ship, only down Oliver and Hoecht, given all the other investments on defense, that is not an excuse in my book. Get your Pick #40 actual inside reps. Rest Bosa if you have to, get him healthy. Plant Bernard on the bench until he’s healed up. Sit Spencer Brown until the playoffs to get that shoulder as healed up as possible. See what Coleman can do in the slot over this mini-bye by giving him reps so we can rest Shakir some, who’s clearly hobbled. Theres no point in making the playoffs if you’re going to destroy your players to do so. Because OP is right, at least in the AFC… 10 very flawed teams are competing for playoff spots right now.
  15. Bengals win Thursday Night and Bills beat the Steelers and they’re 2 back with 5 to play and another Ravens game on deck. With Baltimore and Pittsburgh still playing each other twice & Baltimore having zero easy games left. They play like they did against Browns/Jets and they’re losing a bunch more.
  16. McDermott needs to be calling the defense all game, every game, in the playoffs. I don’t know what they’re doing right now, and maybe he is, but I want to know that this is his gameplan and his play calling when it matters. None of this Defense gets slaughtered for a half causing Josh to go into press mode and then we figure it out and maybe, maybe not McDermott takes over or makes adjustments in the 2nd half. Nah, who’s responsible? I want to know. Brady.. zero confidence in. This man is a joke. I get visually annoyed anytime I even see his face come across my timeline.
  17. Cowboys could really do everyone a solid on Thanksgiving. They are probably the least trustworthy team ever though. Chiefs still play Texans and Chargers, so someone is losing those games. Chargers finish with Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, Texans, Broncos. I could easily see the Colts fighting for a WC with their schedule. AFC South is going to beat each other up down the stretch. If the Texans beat the Colts this weekend, they have the Chiefs the following weekend… might be time to start rooting for Houston.
  18. In a vacuum, I don’t hate it. (Ducks head) If hes in shape, he’s always been good against the run. Play him on early downs with Rousseau and maybe we get a bit more stout. We also desperately need to get Bosa healthy as he has become a shell of himself with the injury he’s playing through. And TJ Sanders, pick #40, that we traded up for, needs to go back inside at DT. Figure out your rotation at DT with Walker, Jones, Sanders, Ogunjobi. Get Jordan Phillips off the field. Get Bosa healthy. That should be the 3 primary objectives down the stretch for this DL.
  19. Brady is 100% gone after this season regardless of how this goes. Theres friction there between him and McDermott and probably him and Josh. You can sense it in their pressers when asked about him. Veiled comments and body language = not good. They turn it around and win it all, great… he gets his pick of HC jobs. They don’t, and it ends however it ends.. he’s likely off to a college HC job. Either way, he’s done here.
  20. Yup! I could understand going into the game thinking our OL is a strength and we’re going to lean on them to neutralize the Texans pass rush. Ok, I get it. On a short week, when that was clear as day wouldn’t work early on, you’ve got to pivot. And he doesn’t. Or he can’t. He freezes. How many times do we need to hear him wish he did something earlier …. the next day… The next day doesn’t help anyone. You’ve got to be able to adjust and this muppet can’t appear to do anything but spam the same bs over and over again and pray Josh Allen saves him.
  21. This is THE game. Get to 8-4 with the head to head against both AFCN playoff contenders along with the Chiefs and we should be looking at 2-3 the rest of the way gets us in (10-7). Lose to the Steelers and 10-7 might still get us in, but if Baltimore takes the division, we’re now down head to heads against Pittsburgh and Houston. It gets dicey.
  22. Brady should be gone yesterday. Texans players laughing at his passing concepts. The HC just blown away at how dumb his protection scheme was. We need to accept that Brady just chokes in-game. When the bullets fly, he has no answers in the heat of battle.
  23. If we play him now though, he’ll get his next injury in a week or two, which essentially brings him back for the playoffs anyway.
  24. Pretty egregious missed PI that allowed the interception to occur.
