Im not sure why so many of your posts have to be a doctoral thesis, but since you point out failures at the state level with the flood alert, do you have that same smoke for Gavin Newsom and his handling of fire prone areas in California? Just curious.

First government monthly SURPLUS since 2005
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yea.. there are some Food Lions in the Carolinas. Dont think I’ve seen any in Georgia though. Publix, Ingles, Kroger (Georgia) and Food Lion (Carolinas) is mainly what I come across with Harris Teeter’s and Aldi’s starting to pop up a good bit. -

I don’t like or dislike the tariffs.. it feels kind of haphazard to me at the moment, but we’re told it’s a tax on us and this and that… Maybe Tops should stop gaslighting you because gas is definitely down and we don’t have any price hikes down here at Publix. -
Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
SCBills replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is an interesting point. He played his college ball down south. Now in as perfect weather environment as possible in LA. Id say Ladd has overlap with Shakir but so does Keon if his power slot advocates are correct. Really comes down to Ladd vs Worthy vs Keon vs Legette. I think we’ll have a much clearer picture of this after the upcoming season. Its just hard to see the vision for him given we have a QB who likes to see separation before he throws it and Keon’s game will likely never really be that. -
He didn’t say it was illegal. He said they’re using illegal immigrants, of which 8 were unaccompanied children who were trafficked into this country. Americans won’t bat an eye at the first part.. as you mention, it happens all over the place. They will, however, turn into border hawks when Democrats attack this Administration for going into a facility using trafficked children. Can we just admit this is pretty bad.. and the protesters/Newsom severely messed up by making it - now - a national story? As someone who holds the beliefs you do, this was a major misstep by Newsom for advancing your ideology wishes.

The Democrat case for child trafficking.

I honestly don’t know how to read polling on the deportation stuff. Newsom sure as hell didn’t help the cause by feeling the need to defend a marijuana facility harboring illegal immigrants and unaccompanied trafficked minors that has a history of workplace safety violations. Up to this point, Dems have been successfully using the media to blue pill the Joe Rogan’s of the world on this topic, but this highlights that a lot of these stories aren’t actually what they seem .. and Newsom decided to blow the lid of a pretty bad one. Also recent polling by well respected outlets still show 50-48 in favor of deporting all illegal immigrants. Thats probably accurate with the battle being waged for the middle 20% that feel bad for the hard working farmhand or store clerk but then also become border hawks when they see this Gavin Newsom blunder or a Laken Riley occurs.

Thats all well and good, but Dems have to deal with reality and Pete is going to have to do some seriously heavy lifting to (not just win back some white men) but more importantly find a way to not be polling in the single digits with black folks. If he gets smoked in the South Carolina Primary with the Dem electorate heavy black, it’s probably a wrap.

I don’t think Buttigieg has much of a chance tbh. I think he’s incredibly smart, articulate and a heck of a debater. I don’t agree with a ton of what he stands for, but I can respect that he goes on Fox and comes out with viral clips where he owned the interviewer. Unfortunately for him, he’s gay with a husband that most men view as a punchline. Id vote for a gay guy, but im just speaking in pure reality. Chasten and him riding around bikes together, taking maternity leave for an adopted baby… it’s just not going to work. Furthermore, black people, black men specifically, will not vote for him. His polling numbers with the black community are insanely bad and without 80-90% black support, Dems can’t win.
-
Newsom is talented, and probably the most equipped of current Dems to deal with the current bro/meme Republican culture, but he can’t be making too many more missteps like this… He’ll already have to defend California to the Rust Belt and Sun Belt - that’s a big enough mountain to climb without stepping on rakes along the way.

They’re getting relentlessly torched from every angle over that cartoon, so clearly they’re using it for clicks. Ghoulish behavior on top of ghoulish behavior from everyone involved at that publication.

Mahomes took a sack that took 3 off the board in the second half and committed the only turnover of the game, but go on…

After that year, he was voted 89 and listed as #8 in Scout/GM poll. Thats about where I’d assume we have his value listed. Cook’s value ask is for a guy in the Top 30 and Top 4, respectively.

Chiefs will get two ball placements go their way in a crucial part of the game, but their defenders will point to a holding flag in the first quarter. For the Chiefs, it always seems to be when these calls are made vs how the calls are made.

Trump worked to try and help broker peace for the Rwandan genocide that has killed over 1 million people to date. You don’t care, because the media hasn’t told you to care. Instead you’ll post this unrelated tangent because you’re incapable of staying on topic without brain-warping to a media installed narrative you now hold as religious doctrine. And for the record.. I don’t know who your post is for, because im not exactly a Zionist poster.. albeit tacitly supporting Israel over the anti-West.

I’m expecting big things from him this year, but having an injury plagued sophomore slump as a highly drafted player is going to bring on criticism. Especially when he basically ended our season in symbolic fashion as a one play synopsis of why we haven’t gotten to a Super Bowl with Josh Allen yet. JA makes a superhuman play that would be remembered for years in NFL Playoff history should we go on to win the game and instead, it’s dropped, and we lose. Diggs blew a lot of goodwill by how we parted ways, but some of that goodwill was already out the door with the drop in the Divisional Round and overall lack of impact every postseason here. Fair or not, players at impact positions will be judged by their playoffs here far more than their regular seasons. So far, only Josh truly elevates his games in those moments. The fan bases frustration will continue until somebody decides they want to be his Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill or Chris Jones. Three guys who have been huge reasons for the Chiefs dominance along with Mahomes. This year can put that all behind us, but it’s Year 3 and on a team with a lot of question marks at weaponry, a guy we actually invested in has to make the jump.

Our Defense was pretty meh, at best, last year. I’m as frustrated as anyone that, regardless of roster, they become made of glass in the playoffs and get smoked by whatever iteration of the Chiefs Offense we have to see in the Playoffs year to year … but I won’t try to glean too much off what they did to get by last year. That same defense managed to get us by the best team in our conference with the Offense playing ball control in the Divisional Round. Now this year, with the new coaches they brought in, likely infusion of a 1st Round CB and second year 2nd Round Safety and Ryan Nielsen working with a far more talented DL group, I expect to see a different caliber of Defense.. one that causes havoc and manages to get off the field without needing turnovers to do so, allowing them to play a bit differently.

You keep operating under this premise as if they would be cut and nothing else would be done to replace/build upon it. You’re debating in bad faith and half truths, which is pretty much the entire leftist playbook at this point. Throw in bitter anger and zero ability to feel empathy towards those who disagree with you, and Trump psychosis has turned you.. and so many.. into absolute soulless cadavers barely resembling the human being that used to live inside.

How do you believe Mahomes would have fared if he switched places with Allen these past two years? Allen on the Chiefs. Mahomes on the Bills. They can’t face each other. Allen has to go up against the Chiefs Defense with his Offense and vice-versa. Everything else the same. Who’s going to the Super Bowls?
-
Never said he’s lucky. What I’m saying, unequivocally, is that he’s the 3rd or 4th best QB in the NFL the past few years, but still makes Super Bowls because the Ravens, Lamar included, choke and the Bills, Josh Allen excluded, choke while the Chiefs do not. I guess we can’t discuss the fact his Defense has been great in recent years. But sure, focus on his lack of weapons. Prior to this, when their defense was meh, he had weapons we could only dream of in prime Kelce and Hill. In another post, you mention Allen was horrible in the first half of the AFC CG… ok, we can discuss that. Can we also discuss how Mahomes took a sack to knock them out of FG range and committed the only turnover of the game?
-
“loser talk” to point out that Mahomes has had a better, more clutch team with better coaches around him than Josh Allen? Lets take a look… 13 Seconds Dawkins got his ish pushed by Jones on a would be go-ahead TD to Shakir in a game we then missed the game tying FG with minutes left. Kincaid drops a pass you for d**n sure know that Kelce, even at his age, catches. So, not sure how it’s loser talk to state weve had a generationally elite postseason QB that keeps losing to Mahomes because he has had better teams, less choking and better coaching. Tell me which part of this you disagree with and what equates to loser talk. I don’t know anything I stated that’s even controversial.
