  1. Hearing the All-22 breakdowns and how we ran less protection (including 3 drives on injured Spencer Brown) than we normally do, while using mesh constantly (which requires the QB to hold the ball) is insane. If you were an OC and you wanted to get your QB hurt, you’d do what Brady did against an elite pass rush.
  2. When people reference too many injuries on Defense, what exactly are we saying? Hoecht and Oliver are legit losses. Big pieces of what they want to do on the DL. Absolutely an issue. Landon Jackson couldn’t even get active for half the season. Taylor Rapp might have been a decent duo with how Bishop is playing, but would Bishop have become this player with Rapp? Terrel Bernard will be back and needed to sit anyway. Bosa honestly should follow the Bernard example and sit until the playoffs. Unless his wrist can heal while playing, he’s not helpful out there with that injury. But he’s playing or will be back. So im to believe the Defense with a lucrative extension to CB1 Benford, plus a RD1 CB next to him, plus a RD2 stud Safety in Bishop, plus a RD3 LB in Williams with recently extended TB coming back and a healthy Shaq Thompson to with Bosa, Rousseau, Epenesa, $14M in vet DT’s with Jones & Ogunjobi a high draft pick DT and early 4th DT is incapable of giving us adequate defensive play in the postseason? All because we’re down Hoecht and Oliver, plus a couple others that don’t move the needle. Thats not a MASH unit. A MASH unit is what Detroit had last year with over half their starters out including Aidan Hutchinson.
  3. If Kincaid can stay healthy, I think I’d rather have Benford, Rousseau, Shakir and Kincaid. Kincaid seemingly can’t do that though and it’s to the point where I’m not hopeful he ever will. The postseason difference between them and us has been coaching and injuries.
  4. I’m not convinced Beane is above average anymore. The rapid rate at which this roster has deteriorated is a shock to the system. His recent extensions, Cook aside, look awful. We have an insane amount of money tied up in aging/oft-injured players who are liabilities on the field. His Drafts have been mediocre at best. OL is his redeeming quality outside picking JA, but who knows if that’s even him.. might be 90% Aaron Kromer. We all knew Basham would bust. Fans didnt want Keon. Fans questioned Elam’s fit. We all knew Samuel would be hurt all the time. Landon Jackson has an extensive injury history. Same with Bosa. Hoecht coming off PED’s which historically lends itself to greater injury risk. It’s like they’re addicted to injury prone players. Josh likes to throw to separators at WR, so we will give almost none of that plus an insane amount of investment at TE. I feel like I’m describing self sabotage, not an above average GM. If Lamar gets healthy, maybe.. but I feel like people saying this haven’t watched them. Their Offense, and Lamar specifically, look terrible. Worse than ours.
  5. With no help.. Five man protections. Against one of the best pass rush duos in the NFL. We had a guy who might go on IR playing with said injury and no help against the Texans pass rush. Absolutely insane stuff.
  6. The FO and Bosa both have alluded to this. They then used him at an insane amount likely thinking they could rest him when Hoecht came back. Then Hoecht goes down. They keep using him at a high usage. Then he gets hurt, we scale him back a tiny bit with the wrist injury and he’s gone from a league leader in pressure to a JAG. If he’s not healthy for the playoffs, this pass rush is DOA.
  7. I saw Bengals fans say they “need” a WR like Shakir to complement Chase and Higgins. Thats what he is, a complimentary player. Im beyond sick of certain podcasters trying to tell us he has Cole Beasley potential. He does not. He has a very specific skillset that is useful. Line him up in the slot and backfield like Deebo. WR3/4 type. We have him as our primary slot, which I believe is actually a hinderance on the potential of our Offense and what we can get out of the slot.
  8. His pressure rate has dropped from Top 8 in the league to like 5.8% Hes clearly not right. We brought him here with a “plan” to keep him healthy and have him good for the playoffs. Thats now become Bosa playing a ton of snaps through injury. Clownshow.
  9. I’m watching the Rams demolish people as the Super Bowl front runner and I have to remember our brilliant GM said he runs this team as to not be like them.
  10. That Miami game was a joke as they actually were a flawed inferior team, but we were also done after the Hamlin situation. Almost lost to the Pats the week before and didn’t even show up against the Bengals week after. Last year we blew the doors off the Broncos. Regarded as having a Top 3 Defense. This year, of all the teams in the mix, all are “good” and all have visible weaknesses. Pats being inexperience (if it matters, maybe it won’t). They’re very solid, no major weaknesses until now.. their OL will be an issue moving forward if Campbell & Wilson go the way it’s looking. They’re also not exactly playing many heavyweight games. Yes, they beat us.. Who’s their next best win? Carolina, Tampa? They don’t have the experience of playing healthy Baltimore or Kansas City in a big spot. Im not down on them.. I just need to see it. Kind of like how I needed to see it from Indy today, only for them to meltdown under the pressure after an early lead they carried until crunch time.
  11. Commanders gotta be sick watching Forbes out there.
  12. They played an injured Joe Flacco with no Chase… I don’t care if they can beat the inferior oppponents.. Good for them, I wish we could.. but there aren’t any extremely flawed inferior opponents in the playoffs.
  13. Hard disagree. Still have to see them do it in the playoffs and they likely just lost 2/5th of their OL today.
  14. Who is that in the AFC though? Theres not really any cream to rise to the top.
  15. They haven’t really done that (drafting) in a while. They’re pretty similar to us recently. We’ve both hit on some OL guys, but the offenses around the QB’s have been wildly mediocre. Neither team has a WR1 and with Kelce declining that becoming evident. On defense they still have Jones, but outside of that Karlaftis is Rousseau, they missed on Felix whatever his name is. They struggle to rush the passer without blitzing. They’re just way better coached than us and have had better injury luck in our playoff matchups. Reid is better on Offense and Spags is better on Defense. Spags dialed up a blitz from an alignment we hadn’t seen before on the play Allen had to chuck it up to Kincaid. Game over.
  16. This is like watching Alabama vs Chattanooga.
  17. Beat PIT and they can likely go 2-3 to make it. Lose to PIT and it gets dicey, but we’d still be favored to make it. Outside NE, everyone else in the conversation has 4-6 tough games left.
  18. Bills starting Defense for the Playoffs gonna hit like crack when they do the player introductions for our starters Shaq Lawson, Jordan Philips, DaQuan Jones, Matt Milano, Dane Jackson, Tre White, Taron Johnson and Jordan Poyer.
  19. He reinjured it against Tampa and then played with an open thumb cast against Houston. He’s essentially been one handed. His pressure rate has dropped 2/3rds since being a top pressure DE in the league pre-wrist injury.
  20. Sanders is a rookie DT coming off injury that we’re playing at DE. Id agree, he’s a bust DE.
  21. Dak is nowhere close to the QB Allen is, but makes more money and has a decent OL, Javonte Williams, Jake Ferguson, Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens. Their Defense was atrocious but made trades for Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson with some of their Parsons haul and got secondary guys back off injury.. Hooker, Revel etc.. and now look like a competent unit. Three gamechangers for Dak in Pickens, Lamb and Q .. and not that’s even counting guys like Bland and Clark. Just disgusting what Beane has done to this roster. If we keep McDermott provided he brings in a new OC and DC, ok, I can live with that. Beane is an absolute joke and between the WGR nonsense and leaked Waddle trade info makes him sound even worse, he deserves to gone yesterday. Recent extensions that look like albatrosses, money tied up in aging and oft-injured players who can’t do much of anything out there The arrogance on top of all this is icing on the cake of this deteriorating corpse of a roster that he’s saddled our best chance at ever winning a Super Bowl with.
  22. Wouldn’t be shocked if this is the case. Bosa wouldn’t be back until right before the playoffs, but we have no chance with our pass rush in the postseason unless he’s healthy.
  23. Legit thought Turpin was about to lateral that for some reason as he jumped out of bounds
  24. Wilson for the Cardinals just hit a deep shot, no timeouts, clock running under 20 seconds and spins it in celebration, panics and has to go chasing the ball. OT now. Dallas/Philly looks exciting but I can’t take my eyes off this game. Just constant mayhem.
  25. Jags just went for it to avoid the FG of death, didn’t get it. Cardinals get ball back down 3 with 1:38 left after going for it on 4th and 12 at their own 30 a few plays prior. Normal Jags game.
