I mean, it’s fine to have guys develop without getting on the field. The issue fans have, and it’s fair, is that a 3RD Rounder should be able to help if the players in front of him getting Gameday jerseys are struggling. Instead we have AJ having to gut out an injury, Rousseau apparently playing injured for multiple games now and Bosa on an absurd snap count for a guy they brought in to make sure he’s available for the Playoffs. Rounded out by a largely ineffective 5th Round Pick. Good stuff.

The Bills will likely never draft a player like Worthy or sign a player like Thornton so it is what it is. Bills want to be big and physical on Offense and that also means have Wide Receivers who can block. I too wish they could give Allen one quality speed guy who’s not of the gadget variety, but alas it seems to be akin to wishing they get bigger up the middle on Defense. They simply aren’t going to do it. We’ll see what it looks like when we get there but it has to change because an underreported issue the Playoff Bills face is Allen not having guys get open for him regularly enough. If our Defense wasn’t a flaming dumpster fire every postseason when it matters, this would be a much more talked about issue.

If our Defense lets us down again in the playoffs I don’t know how you keep running it back. Especially now that McDermott’s Defenses are meh to bad in the regular season too. Im just amazed at how we keep having the same issues, throw more assets at it, keep having the same issues. At least this year we have the hope of growing pains and young players, but this - so far - might be the worst version of this that I’ve seen.

Playoff Lamar in Week 4

Lamar is an elite runner with an elite RB and throws into big windows. He has become a better passer to hit tight windows but doesn’t drop back and have the accuracy/timing of the 3 mentioned above. He is not a better passer than Allen. Thats comical. His deep ball is great.. so is Russel Wilson’s. Much more to pocket passing than that. Their running game puts teams in insane conflict that gives him a better picture to throw than anyone in the league. A lot of that is him. So credit to him. But he’s not the passer of the other 3 in the Big 4. He also chokes where the others don’t.. but that’s another convo.

Hes very clearly not a passer on the level of Allen, Mahomes and Burrow. Great QB, just sick of being gaslit by so many people that we have to pretend he’s something he’s not.

Only real takeaway I have from that meh game is that Deone Walker truly looks like he has the potential to be elite at DT with time.

Disappointing Defense so far this year but it looks like they hit a grand slam with Walker

Can’t upgrade Safety because it takes a 4 year mentorship program and doctorate to play that position here.

Honestly not a great start to the year for Brady. He has an elite OL, elite QB and elite RB and those guys are all pulling their weight. Aside from a backyard ball comeback against the Ravens this Offense has been what you’d expect from a team with those elements.. nothing more.

This defense just gives up mind numbingly long drives and can’t even force FG’s anymore unless the opponent screws if up themselves. Also love that we have a healthy 3rd Round Pick who can’t get on the field to help an injured Epenesa who’s obviously not in great shape today.

What kind of coverage was that by Benford. Just easy pitch and catch that Olave fortunately juggled.

Not going to jump on the Defense for an opening drive operated mainly by QB scrambled but this getting real old, real fast.

For a Bills game, it will be a lot of fun. As others noted, atmosphere for Falcons is meh, but it will be likely 60-70% Bills fans. Concessions are crazy inexpensive. Concourses are wide and open so you rarely feel confined when walking around. Traffic is gonna be brutal for a 7 pm game in Midtown, so give yourself time to get there.

Is this legit or a mirage? New Jersey has been moving more to the right in recent years, but is still (I think) a 4-5 point Dem advantage. Would have to be a Glenn Youngkin type campaign, which is tough to do in a midterm year where R’s control the Presidency.
