  1. Frustrating. Just dont get this team when it comes to DL. Guess he wouldn’t be there at 56, but geez.. what a massive move for, yet another, undersized DT.
  2. I think this is where I am. I just don’t see the value for DT any longer. We needed a game changer if we were going to invest high and unfortunately that just wasn’t going to happen this year. If we want a 2 down DT like Alfred Collins or tweeners like Farmer, just take someone like Caldwell in the 4th. In fact, take two of them early Day 3. EDGE, Xavier Watts, Max Hairston and then 1 or 2 quality DT’s tonight and/or early Day 3 and this Defense is dramatically transformed. Even without the eventual additions of Hoecht and Ogunjobi.
  3. Jags trading for Hunter, easy. Browns actually did the smart thing and Hunter in Jax has some juice.
  4. Saw an article this morning that he’s completely off some teams boards, so whatever is going on with him, it’s not just the Bills being on some choir boy vibes. Would love, just once, to be the team that gets a steal due to character concerns. And Mike Green in RD2 would be insane value. That said, I would’ve said this about Burton last year with Cinci, and that went about as poorly as one could have predicted.
  5. I’d love to find a way to get Mike Green, but his off the field red flags must be of a different tenor than Hairston’s, because there’s no other way to explain a legit pass rusher dropping like he has.
  6. The way the board fell, I think the Bills made the right decision going CB (regardless of whether they truly did have a RD1 grade on Hairston or not) It seems Amos would’ve been the safe pick. A guy most believe would slide in as a reliable CB2 to Benford. Hairston is Buffalo drafting a guy who we hope meets the moment in an AFC Championship Game. A certified playmaker. Theres more to be concerned about with his size than other potential picks at that spot, but drafting Hairston is an attempt to add a weapon to the Defense.. not just a defender.
  7. Can’t link, but Schefter said on ESPN that he’s hearing Detroit for Sweat. (Clip going around on X)
  8. Oh. My. Goodness. wow.
  9. I don’t think we did the Rousseau deal, cut Von and redid Allen’s contract just to sign some mid-level guys. Maybe. I just can’t imagine we don’t do at least one thing that constitutes a “swing”.
  10. Sweat, allegedly
  11. Milton Williams flipped to the Pats over Panthers..
  12. Can delete if “political”, but a pro-Palestine group called Dark Storm is taking responsibility for it.
  13. It’s a DDoS attack from a group called Dark Storm
  14. I think the reporting on Bills/Sweat is accurate. Makes a ton of sense to be in on him. Garrett is 40M per year for one guy. Hendrickson will want in the 30’s. We should be completely fine paying, say, 45M for two guys in Rousseau/Sweat and keep all our draft picks.
  15. Josh Sweat Charvarius Ward Jevon Holland To me, those are 3 guys who would be game changers for us on Defense. Money for Holland seems too rich for us and Ward will likely get paid paid.. which I’d be fine with, but obviously Benford dependent for how the FO views him long term.
  16. Sweat looks like the home run at his point. Not a gamewrecker but gives us another Rousseau essentially, opposite Rousseau, with Oliver and allows us to keep draft capital to load up at DT. I said before… that DL starts looking like what the Eagles had last year.
  17. What a terrible year to have a ton of money to spend… Some of these deals, yeesh
  18. Feels like the Dark Ages following Free Agency without X/Twitter
  19. Roethlisberger is on McAfee and wondered out loud if Pickens is long term or not with the DK trade. I'd call them..
  20. Steelers look to be in win-now mode. If Pickens isn't long term (Roethslisberger speculating he may or may not be on McAfee).. I'd offer a deal based around Cook for Pickens. Cook and Warren would be a legit backfield that works well together.
  21. KC recently played in one of the coldest games we've ever seen. Green Bay plays in frozen games all the time. Sure, Buffalo can get colder that the others, but if you're adverse to the cold.. over half of the league is in cold weather with a lot of them playing outside.
  22. New stadium addresses the wind. I'm sure it plays a part, but same goes for Jets, Giants, Patriots, Ravens, Chiefs, Steelers, Eagles, Packers etc..
  23. I'm honestly at the point where I'd overpay for Josh Sweat to keep our draft ammo in tact. Sweat opposite Rousseau with a premium pick DT next to Oliver starts to resemble what the Eagles threw at KC.
  24. They can't help themselves
