  1. I can 100% respect Mahers position. I don’t agree, but at least he’s not arguing in bad faith. You can be pro-choice for healthy elective abortions, but you can’t also have the moral high ground.
  2. I have to back up what is said about Coleman. I know his testing has him down in the eyes of many, and I'm not sure I love the idea of taking him in RD1, but it's hard to square his testing numbers with how he looked on the field. They don't match up.
  3. I have no idea what’s going to happen in the election, but I’ll be honest… I don’t know how to explain this. Im in Atlanta and he has a groundswell of support amongst a-lot of black people down here. Maybe that just bumps up his percentage with them a few points, but that’s all he needs in the swing states to win in a landslide.
  4. March Madness is the only thing (American) that rivals NFL Playoffs and the Super Bowl. CFP will get there when it’s expanded. Specifically though, the Final 4? Nah.. not in the modern era. On the men’s side there’s too much turnover on rosters. The first Thurs-Sun still has the magic though.
  5. No, you see, they had the privilege of working two jobs and sacrificing things like vacations, a new car etc., in order to pay off their student loans. Dont be silly.
  6. We could’ve had a proper country Will forever be frustrated that DeSantis couldn’t get his Florida message out due to the presence of Trump. All he does is common sense stuff that benefits his citizens, with a conservative lean on social issues where the majority of Americans agree with him which allows him grace on an issue like the heartbeat ban with his citizens .. while also being one of the strongest environmentalist politicians on either side of the aisle.
  7. Trump’s economy was strong until the pandemic. Nobody disputes that except people like you. Im pro-life, so I’m not sure why I care what pro-abortionists think in November. They are the Democrat base. He’s not going to win them. He’s targeting moderates.
  8. Donald Trump also likely paid for women to get abortions, but I’m not voting for someone based on what they’ve done in their life. He’s better for businesses than Biden’s economy along with Democrat’s unabashed vindictiveness towards us business owners. And he’s better on abortion with his states rights view than super-Catholic Biden that is utterly obsessed with expanding abortion access to levels only seen in countries like North Korea and China. Your post is simply deflection.
  9. No business owner should ever support Democrats. They’ll shut down your business. Force you to close your doors (while allowing big corporations to stay open) and then offer you a lifeline for the destruction they caused, only to vilify you for taking it when they want to make a completely unrelated political point.
  10. Trump is correct on this. It’s also fascinating to live in Atlanta, a red/purple state with a heartbeat ban, yet it’s rarely a discussion state-wide. Just goes to show how values line up differently around the country. I’m from NY, and certainly realize that abortion is a bigger issue in the Northeast for whatever reason. But down south, we have extremely strict laws in state like Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.. but nobody really makes it a big issue and people keep moving to these states in droves.
  11. This is a pretty bad look if I’m a GM. I’m talking remove from the board entirely type of look. Dude can’t even control himself knowing millions of dollars are on the line? Now for us.. if he slips.. I’d take him as a value pick and lean on the culture built. We’ve been losing to teams who take chances on these guys, so I’d take on the risk.
  12. I’m closest to A, but it’s a little too aggressive for how I feel. I was on his side at first (post-CIN). I think he might have some valid annoyances with this team/coach/QB. But then his play didn’t match his mouth, he fell flat in the playoffs… again… and went right back to his cryptic nonsense, while forcing us to eat 31M in dead cap. Let’s just say I’m over it, been over it, glad he’s gone. 🤡
  13. Seeing black twitter’s response to Caitlyn Clark losing to South Carolina is pretty gross. Openly racist attacks nonstop.
  14. Von Miller - valid Otherwise, maybe the lesson is.. lean into high end weapons, not a developmental TE, a MLB and WR2. What a bizarre team building philosophy when displayed that way.
  15. I think we draft a guy (or two) and then potentially get involved with a Hopkins-type situation this summer if someone like that becomes available. Im not sure I see us doing a Diggs trade all over again, but Aiyuk would be eerily similar.
  16. I’m willing to move 28, 60, next years 1st and next year 2nd if that’s gets us Nabers or Odunze. Really conflicted on a trade up for Brian Thomas. Would really like to keep the 2nd we got from Minny via Houston though. If we invest in WR through the Draft, next year we might not have a 1, but should have a high 2 and cap space to spend for the first time in years.
  17. The mainstream media loved to talk about how Bolsonaro “Brazilian Trump” is an authoritarian threat. So.. let’s take a look at what Lula is up to..
  18. Your response is some random hypothetical? Biden is losing white working class too, so… I’m not saying he’ll lose, because Trump risks having 10-15% of Republicans staying home. But shifts in Hispanics and black men are not good for Dems overall.
  19. More and more it looks like Diggs just checked out. The lack of focus could explain the drops. The quote from Norman about Diggs just taking himself out. The snap percentage reflecting games where Trent Sherfield, of all people, out-snapped him. I think he just quit on us.
  20. I listed 10 guys, excluding QB and OL. Id say we’re probably average to (slightly) above average roster wise in comparison to the league, outside QB. Mainly because there’s a lot of bad OL’s and I think ours is pretty decent. But yea, the difference between us and a lot of teams is Josh Allen. But then the difference between the Chiefs and us has been impact players and coaching. I hesitated on Benford, but his metrics indicate he’s a high level player. I could go either way on him. This season should probably tell the tale of what he truly is. James Cook.. I listed him as above average, because I think most around the league would say that .. but I share the sentiment of being meh on his game. Mainly because he’s actually a good RB, but his RD2 skillset was in pass catching which has been erratic.
  21. Morse is still a good Center, but from people who breakdown tape.. he was struggling more and more at anchoring against certain alignments & certain types of DT’s last year. Diggs could be addition by subtraction, depending on what we do at WR, but in terms of skill & this year only, we could’ve done whatever we decide to do plus have Diggs. So unless we absolutely crush it in bringing in not one, but two WR’s that ball out, we probably will miss Diggs .. strictly talent wise. I’ll hold off judgment until I see what our WR room 1-4 looks like. Everywhere else, honestly no.. I don’t think we miss Tre, Hyde, Poyer, Floyd, Gabe, Bates etc. We had gotten used to life without Tre, Hyde & Poyer were solid last year.. that’s it, Floyd vanished halfway through the season and Gabe, see my comments above about Diggs.
  22. Excluding QB, if we’re all being honest: Above average players, relative to their position -Daquan Jones -Ed Oliver -Greg Rousseau -Matt Milano -Terrell Bernard -Taron Johnson -Christian Benford -Rasul Douglas -James Cook -Dalton Kincaid Offensive Line is tricky to evaluate individually sometimes, but I do think we have an above average OL as a whole. Until proven otherwise.. Von, AJE, Edwards, Rapp, Shakir, Knox, Samuel are average relative to what other teams have. Where we come up short is in impact players. In our own division, Dolphins have Hill, Waddle and Ramsey (debatable). Jets have Wilson and Quinnen with pass rushers all over. If we step back off the ledge, we still have a lot of good to great players. The guys who have flashed elite levels are coming off injury (Von & Milano) and Oliver isn’t consistent enough to warrant this discussion yet. Kincaid could become a superstar this year, but we’re projecting. We’re not really below average at any position except WR, which we all expect to be addressed. Safety is a bit unnerving but it’s also the wheelhouse of our coach. EDGE is pretty volatile in its dependency on the recovery of Von Miller.
  23. Honestly, that’s a great question .. and the answer to that is depressing to think about. Reality: Spags and Anarumo are better DC’s than what we have/have had in McDermott, Frazier etc. CIN doesn’t have any reason to have a defense they can rely on like that in the playoffs, aside from the fact their coaching and schematics are on another level. But we have what we have, so it is what it is. Which is why we needed a Von Miller, before that blew up in our face. But the fact is, the year they went to the Super Bowl, they still had 3 elite impact players. Just all on one side of the ball.
