Would be nice for the Packers to find themselves and stay in the playoff race given they still have the Dolphins in a few weeks.

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
SCBills replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is honestly insane for a franchise QB to tweet. Lamar is fun to watch, and by all accounts - a good guy, but I’d be out on the type of contract he’s looking for. On play alone, I’d be out.. but apparently he’s also as mature as a teenage boy. -

Kelce allows them to scheme for those WR’s like mad scientists. Hands down, the most elite offensive weapon in the league. -

I’m getting destroyed in these end of game fantasy situations with having McPherson and playing Chubb. -

Couple teams getting that heavy RD1 double dip with teams that’s owe them picks being terrible. Texans likely end up with the #1 overall plus another top 10 pick. Lions in a nice spot too, along with Seattle. -

The whining in this thread by the usual suspects.. Every time. Im pretty critical of this team, but most of our issues are injury related. Y’all need to calm down or drink some warm milk.. do something. -

HATE the Bernard pick. Hated it then … hate it even more now. No clue what the thought process was there. Elam has looked good when he’s out there. Not sure we can judge him negatively because he never played zone in college and got hurt. He shut ish down in the 4th when we needed to emergency sub him in. Cook was a luxury pick for this year. Will likely become a big contributor starting next year. Understand frustration in using a 2nd on a RB you don’t use heavily immediately. Shakir is another guy who likely grows in the offense as the main slot next year. Dorsey actually has to show some creativity if we ever want to maximize his ability. Benford hopefully gets transitioned to Safety for next year and could end up being an even better pick than the solid depth corner he is now. Draft is heavily TBD, but I’d agree that they seemed to pick guys for the future more so than to help this year… which is fine, until your OL is playing at a mediocre level and you’re down to 4 WR’s. -

The entire playoffs are in the winter. Unless they get home field throughout, they will be playing in places like Kansas City, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Baltimore etc.. even Tennessee is going to be cold. That’s a pretty massive out you’ve given yourself. Sure… If Miami can get home field throughout and/or only play the Chargers on the road, they’ll be dangerous. -

For all the praise the Jets get with drafting, and they deserve some… they’ve had a billion high picks and still missed on QB & LT with their most premium of those picks. -

Quite bullish on a team led by a warm weather QB who has crumbled in cold weather. -

Bengals have Chiefs next week. If Tennessee wins today, that’s going to be a desperate team playing KC at 6-5. -

No Chase, right? Different offense with him. Im sure, they way things have gone this year, he’ll miss the Chiefs but be 100% for us. -
Clearly I’m referring to him retiring therefore State Farm going with another active QB

Typically this is when it gets wild … those weeks where you’re expecting chalk. We can hope.. -
Cook looks dangerous running the ball. Ironically enough, he looks shaky af in the passing game.
-
If Rodgers decides to grow medicinal plants or whatever after this season, State Farm should 100% lock down Allen to take his spot with Mahomes in that campaign.

He was described by draft people as Deebo-lite. Can play outside, if needed, but is more of a slot/gadget. It’s part of the reason he dropped. Teams saw his ability, but you don’t draft chess piece WR’s early in a loaded draft with outside WR’s and top tier slot options. He’s a guy that a creative OC would love. Whether it’s practice time, first year struggles or Dorsey’s philosophy, he’s not really showing to be very creative at the moment. I think he’s the future slot WR for this team, and could be a really good one as soon as next year .. but this year, we can’t even figure out how to use Cook, Hines and Knox, let alone Shakir on an offense big on experience & trust.
-
I’d probably be willing to offer him a two year deal. We know Von is here next year, likely the following, but after that it’s year to year. Gives him his guy, especially if he’s going to be fighting through an injury the rest of the season. Even if he’s not the guy he used to be, he’s likely got enough talent to be accounted for and we can use him in the slot primarily if need be. We can play with contracts to free up money for OBJ and Edmunds next year. Likely means Poyer is gone and we’re severely limited on money for solid vets like Phillips, Lawson & Quessenberry, along with a potential Singletary re-signing and/or Hines restructure. To me, it’s worth it. Allows us to go heavy on OL in the draft. Contract comes off the books when we need money for Oliver and/or Davis. If he’s looking for 3, with significant money… that gets tough. If he stays healthy and is who he can be, he’s likely a steal at his price point, but if .. say .. 15M per after this season is the number .. that’s a lot to be in on a guy who has been seriously injured multiple times recently.

Oh look.. KC with another massive gift of a game. Rams with no Stafford or Kupp. I suppose Titans with Willis wasn’t enough for the football gods to bestow upon them. -
Thats got to be a joke tweet. Hughes reportedly told Houston he didn’t want to be traded at the deadline. Levi asking for a release .. Steelers would just laugh at him and say no. Who is he to be asking for that?

Bill Lions set Thanksgiving viewership record
SCBills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am so over Thanksgiving games. Three in four years is enough. Give Mahomes some games there. -
If it were any team other than KC we were chasing, I’d say the 1 seed is wide open. … unfortunately they are just so consistent and the AFCW is an absolute joke. Most frustrating aspect of the season, big picture speaking, is easily the fact that everyone hyped the AFCW for the entire division to fall on their face.. meanwhile, the AFCE becomes a gauntlet.
