Definitely a bold prediction. Feel like I should bookmark this in case you're right, as I haven't heard anyone suggest that. I'm more in line with media "experts" suggesting the AFCW could have all 4 teams in the postseason lol In reality, I don't think that'll happen unless the rest of the AFC just underperforms significantly, though 3 teams seems doable. I think the East, West & South get 2 teams, the North gets 1. I don't have much faith in the Browns or Steelers, though if I had to pick 1, I'd still pick Tomlin to figure it out over the Browns. The Ravens could be fighting for the division too, but that's all dependent on Lamar staying healthy. Cincy would still be my favorite. So there's my way too early, not very bold prediction 😆

With the way our schedule starts off, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills be comparable to the 2021 Chiefs. They had a rough stretch of games & hovered around .500, with people constantly talking about how underwhelming they've been. But then they quietly started crawling back in, eventually finishing as the #2 seed after some were predicting they wouldn't even make the playoffs. I hope that doesn't happen to us, just that a few early losses during all these tough games wouldn't be shocking. Even if it happens, I wouldn't in any way count them out or think they couldn't run the tables from that point on though.

What gets me is that they really only took 10 seconds off the clock... the final 3 were just the FG kick. They did all their damage & moved the ball into FG range in only 10 seconds... against the #1 defense 😢

Still can't believe there were people advocating for us to take a punter in the first 3 rounds... Glad we have professionals like Beane & not fans (me included) running the show 😂

Rd 5, Pick 148 (5): WR Khalil Shakir, Boise St
BigDingus replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably. Per ESPN Pre-Draft Scoring : Bernard: Grade - 62 / OVR Rank - 145 Shakir: Grade - 71 / OVR Rank - 102 So yeah, before the draft Shakir was definitely considered an overall better talent & graded as 3rd round type of prospect. Bernard was viewed as a later round pick. Fans would've likely been ok not knowing who a 5th round player even was 😅 -

Ok, that was the most amazing draft guess speech I've ever heard! Please, bring him back EVERY year! 🤣 -
It's weird to see we're only 15 picks in, but 4 teams have already selected twice. Lions, Texans, Jets & Giants. Must be nice? Or not...considering why they have 2 picks so early 😅

Clone Single Player 11xs to Make Best Team
BigDingus replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall
The first name I thought of before I finished reading your post was Aaron Donald 😆 But since you already said that, I'll go with something weird & say an offense of all Gronks (assuming they're healthy). If he's got even a barely ok arm, coverage would be a nightmare, he's big enough to at least be noticed as a linemen, & big/powerful enough to get you a few yards on the ground if you need it. -
For the first time ever, I really don't have any assumptions or expectations going into the draft, & I kind of like that. It's weird, but it feels like going into a movie blind after avoiding all trailers 😊 Not sure why, but tried not to get too deep into everything this year, so I'm not attached to any handful of prospects or positions. Sure, every year I want us to snag more O-linemen, but outside of that, I'm just excited to see who's on the table when our number is called!

Von Miller is Being Sued (UPDATE: CASE DISMISSED)
BigDingus replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a d*** move, but just sounds like a bad response to a breakup. I know some states have laws regarding stuff like that, but many have none whatsoever. And no, I'm not of the mindset of "shouldn't have taken the pics if you didn't want them getting out!" as that's just some lame excuse to deflect blame. But at the same time, I doubt 2 celebrities seeing some picture(s) will result in much damage requiring a monetary payout or subsequent action from the NFL. Yeeeeaaah.... THAT's why you want him to make a sex tape 😉 -
Who is Your Favorite NFL Football TV Announcer of All Time ?
BigDingus replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know this is pretty boring, but Tony Romo. Aside from simply enjoying the way he calls games, I absolutely loved seeing him shut up so many people in Dallas (where I lived during his playing run) showing how insightful he was. The guy kept the Cowboys from being an NFL bottom feeder for years, yet got far more blame for all their woes than deserved. Listening to the constant hate from friends & Dallas media made me start pulling for him as an individual. Seeing his best chance to win disappear due to injury & being replaced by rookie Dak just felt like yet another crap hand being dealt. But man did his move to the broadcast booth open people's eyes! Hell, even as a Romo appreciater already, I was still surprised about just great his vision, feel & knowledge of the game truly was. The way he can quickly process so many things & accurately assess what's unfolding (or what's about to unfold) is awesome, and the way he communicates it makes even less interesting games far more engaging. TL;DR - He doesn't have the resume or iconic legacy of others (yet), but Tony Romo is just a dude I appreciate above the rest. -
I might be an outlier here...... Draft needs

Morse has injury & concussion history, but as far as ability & skill, wouldn't place him at the top of the list in terms of weakest positions. O-line play as a whole has been mediocre though, so looking to improve it in any way would be nice to see. And Knox may not be Kelce-level, but few TE's are. He's certainly very capable & a legit TD threat at any given point, so I'd hardly say that position is 2nd worst on the squad either (adding OJ is nice, but don't quite think it moves the needle much either). I can at least understand most of the rest (aside from the "thumbs down to Milano" part). -
Agreed. It was a clear issue throughout last season, and it keeps getting put on the backburner because Josh can often cover up some of those issues. But there were many times you could see opposing pressure getting to Josh, sacks or not, and run blocking has made our backs look worse than they really are (not saying they're great, but hard to do much when you're immediately taking hits way in the backfield the second you touch the ball). Josh with time is more capable than any QB in the league imo, but he's often asked to just make the best out of a mess. Our line isn't a dumpster fire, but they're hardly formidable or consistent either.

I don't think this is a fair assesment at all. Our offense (including Josh), did next to nothing against Tampa for the first half of the game. The defense played just as much of a part in helping us comeback at all. Against the Cardinals, Josh wasn't great either. We scored with seconds left for what looked like the go-ahead TD, but it was a very mediocre showing (2 TD's - 2 INT's, averaging 5 yards an attempt on nearly 50 passes, 77 passer rating, etc)... Defense gave up a Hail Mary which upset us all, but the only game I feel the D "filed him & team" was KC. In the other losses, the team - including Josh - failed EACH OTHER in many aspects. Play a cleaner game or more complete game from start to finish & we wouldn't need to make up a huge deficit to avoid a blowout or be within range of losing via Hail Mary. Von Miller can only do so much, same as anyone. There will be times the defense plays poorly, there will be times Josh & the offense play poorly, and there will even be times ST will be what costs us. You can only hope it all comes together more often than not & we're firing on all cylinders come playoff time.

Bingo. And winning 7 rings in the NFL is more impressive than 7 rings (or 11, the amount Russell has) in the NBA. QB is often called the most important/difficult position in all of professional sports, and Brady not only has the rings, he has the numbers, accolades & longevity. On top of all that, he's dwarfed the amount of SB wins the next closest competitors have, has played in 10 x SB's, brought a franchise previously with 0 x SB wins to passing the 49ers & Cowboys/ tied for 1st all time with the Steelers, and set post season records in stats/wins that will never be touched. Combined with his passing records, it's obvious why he's almost unanimously called the GOAT now. Oh, and he did in the free agency era where this kinda stuff was thought to be impossible. There's no real "debate" anymore, just the standard outlier & contrarian opinions (just as there are with MJ in the NBA). It's fine to hate the guy & root against him, but I've long accepted the fact that I'll never live to see anything like what he's done ever again. All I wanted was for the Bills to get a chance to take out some vengeance upon him, & now that he's returning to the Bucs, we'll hopefully get that chance.

If it's just part of Apple TV, that would be amazing. I recently decided just to pay for a full year of the service since it was only $50, just to watch a handful of shows with hopes of finding more. The only obnoxious thing about the service is the lack of any search function whatsoever... they make you scroll through everything instead of being able to just search to see if they have something. Seriously hope that changes.

LOL thanks, just laughed & inhaled some hot coffee into my nose 😄

Very much this. He's not "elite" tier, but he can certainly be considered one of the upper tier QB's & a "star" by some standards. We've also seen what Carr is capable of doing when healthy & with competent coaching/teammates, but people forget how much of a s*** show the Raiders have been for years. Gruden didn't help things (if anything, he set it all back once again), the lackluster personnel, his own injuries, the tough division, maybe even the relocation, probably has made Carr look more inconsistent than he really is. I'm not saying he's a Mahomes or Allen type QB, only that he's better than just an "above average QB" & can successfully be built around to win.

At first I rolled my eyes & thought "sounds bad," but after going back over everything a few times, I'm actually warming up to it. The main reason for this is I definitely dislike the current OT system in the NFL, but I also hate the college one. The traditionalist in me rather stick with whatever I'm used to, but since this is happening outside the NFL, it actually allows me the chance to see how well it plays out in meaningful scenarios. On paper it may sound a bit convoluted, but who knows, it might end up being really exciting & result in more definitive outcomes without much randomness. One thing I'd prefer to see is all 3 attempts are done in succession per each team, no shuffling defenses on & off the field 3 separate times. Let each team have all their attempts, then move on to the next team to get their 3 attempts. It'll waste less time, feel more fluid, & still provide the drama when that 2nd offense has to go out & match or eclipse the opposing offense's total. I'm sure most people will think this is too gimmicky, but I think it could work with a few tweaks. First, move the XP attempt up to the original, "freebie" spot on the 2 yard line (for a 20 yard XP attempt instead of the current 33 yard one). That way, it really is the safe, simple & risk-adverse option that's nearly an automatic 1 point on the board. Next, make the option for the 3 point play only available in the 4th quarter, and push it back to the 15 yard line (where they currently have the XP kick setup). This way, it's really only there as a last chance option as the game is nearing its end, can't be overly abused, and legitimately offers the most risk/lowest success rate by a wide margin. The way it's setup now, some teams will quickly realize it's better just to go for 3 every time... It's like how the NBA has changed in looking at the 3 point shot. It's better to chunk up more 3's at a lower success rate than it is 2's, and with football, 1 made 3 point conversion makes up for failing several missed conversions. If you just start each game knowing you're going for 3 after every TD, you'd be fine with failing 2 of 3 conversions, and making just 1 extra gives you a huge advantage. Especially when you're starting from the 10, it actually makes it easier in many cases than a 2 point attempt, as it gives you more space to spread out a defense & for plays to open up. And having that option from the the first minute of quarter 1? Yeah... very abusable as it is now. Anyway, didn't intend to put this much detail into this post, but it honestly could be an interesting mechanic introduced if certain things were ironed out (my ideas aren't perfect either, but I'd rather my tweaks than what they currently are offering).
