  1. Don't apologize for the post... Sure, the doctor doesn't have intimate knowledge of everything going on, but it's still interesting to hear other opinions (even if it's not what we want to hear). I suspect that's the problem most people have... he said something they didn't want to hear. Doesn't bother me though, it's not like his opinion has any bearing at all on when Tre returns or how his recovery is coming along. So what if he's dead wrong? Just saying, don't worry about it OP. Thanks for posting anyway 🙂
  2. Unless we're against the Jets... Then Barkley comes to play! Let him drop another 40 points on them just for the lulz 🤣
  3. I genuinely thought this was a fake quote... Then after reading every response in this thread taking it seriously, I guess it was real! How in the hell can someone be so aware of all the stupid s*** they've done, even referencing some of it, yet STILL choose to say something so profoundly stupid?! 🤣
  4. Any word on if the PC version is going to be the upgraded/next-gen version this year? Or will it be the Xbox One/PS4 version again?
  5. Bills ranked 2nd overall is actually a LOT of respect. I don't think anyone should complain about Bucs being #1 when neither of our teams even made it to the Conference Championship last year, yet here we are ranked over the Super Bowl winner & runner-up 😅 Who cares if it's "only" an 89 rank overall. It's all relative, and doesn't mean anything unless compared to others. If the top team was rated 60 overall, that still means they're the best rated team in the league. So yeah, great for Bills fans who play Madden! Haven't decided if I'll buy it this year if it's basically the same anyway. I might buy in if the PC version is actually significantly updated though.
  6. I'm sure some people will dislike me saying this, but I don't think the focus on illegal contact would have benefited the Bills at all in previous matchups against the Chiefs. Our DBs were very physical & got away with a lot of contact, often to the point where you could easily have seen plenty of defensive holding/pass interference/illegal contact calls against the Bills. That's both helped & hurt us, but as long as it's called *CONSISTENTLY* throughout the games I'm fine with it.
  7. Well, Vince McMahon is out of the WWE now... I hear he's got billions of dollars & some free time on his hands 😉
  8. Dawson Knox: "Star Wars cosplay synchronized choreographer" 🤣 *Sorry if already posted. Didn't see it anywhere.
  9. I want him! Unless he doesn't come here... then he sucks & I never wanted him anyway.
  10. Beer, obviously! Except I'm not sure on that either... but I thought I heard there were some small breweries in Buffalo these days 😅
  11. Now these are the questions that need to be asked. Flat. Obviously. 😆
  12. If it's not shaped like a giant Buffalo Wing, I'm going to be pissed!
  13. The fact Diggs even entertained these idiots at all is why I love him so much. Not supporting this behavior at all, but Diggs still stuck around. I wouldn't humored those morons at all, but looks like Diggs is a more generous man than I 🤣
  14. Why are people saying Bryce Paup? If anything, I'd put Sam Cowart over Paup. Cowart had ONE season where he was an All-Pro, Pro Bowler, near the top of the league in tackles, had a couple INT's, & like 6 sacks. Then he got injured for an entire season, then was out the door & onto the Jets. Paup was a 4 x Pro Bowler & 1st team All-Pro. He doesn't belong on the list.
  15. I don't know about the others, but in Arlington, there's a ton of stuff surrounding the entire place. That's not to mention all the stuff going on inside that massive stadium, and the fact it can be used all year for tons of other events due to its roof. Every time I've been there outside of football, we end up spending the day doing stuff in that area. Similar to the American Airlines Center each time I would see a Mavs game, there's a lot to do in the surrounding area just being in close proximity to everything else. I don't have great knowledge of the surrounding area in Orchard Park, but I can't even remember a single thing in the area besides neighborhoods. Every time I traveled to Buffalo to watch a game, we never did anything around the stadium because the area felt empty.
  16. Yeah, we all get the "it was a mistake" part, but just repeating that doesn't make it any less of an issue (nor does "he was young"). The way you plotted out the details while omitting the parts where he already placed his hands on a female, TWICE, shows you also weren't interested in giving the complete picture when presenting the facts. That's a big problem with many people... who have never laid their hands on a woman even ONCE in an aggressive manner. To me, that shows you recognized "eh, these details make him looks far more culpable in bad behavior than I want to acknowledge," so you intentionally left them out. Funny thing is I agree with you overall point of him serving his punishment & moving on, but you weaken your argument when you aren't willing to confront the WHOLE story.
  17. I've never lived in Buffalo, but even I know that part is complete BS. No matter when I went there, every Bills fan I came across was supportive & optimistic, never envious or jealous at all. There's no chance in hell that seeing young Bills fans excited makes them jealous, angry, bitter, or any negative emotion whatsoever. If anything, they're probably bummed our fellow Bills fans who passed away during the drought didn't get to see the team finally make it back atop the division. That's the kind of Bills fan & Buffalonians I met. 🤗💯
  18. Probably looking to take a break knowing that without Watson being there, Cleveland's going to run him & Chubb into the ground 😅
  19. It made me tear up too. There's another video from the mom posting her son's up close reaction afterwards & he was trying to hold back crying, it was adorable. Condolences for you & your father, that must have been hard growing up.
  20. When he said "huge credit to Josh Allen," I think he was highlighting something I think many fans tend to overlook. Josh's success was NOT a guarantee. Josh was NOT "ready to go" out of college. The NFL does NOT have a long list of "project" QB's drafted on physical gifts who were then properly developed & became stars. Too often I see fans say things like "us REAL Josh Allen fans saw he was great from day 1, he just didn't have the surrounding talent!" or "we Bills fans knew he was great from the start, it was the media who only looked at the numbers that doubted him!" That's nice and all, but it unintentionally downplays Josh's role in his own stardom & the work he's put in to overcome the odds. ********* McDermott was a defense guy & still green HC. Beane was on his first draft. The Bills had a long history of failure developing QB's or even give them proper time & support. Evaluating QB talent wasn't their strong suit either, just look at their faith in not only drafting Peterman, but feeling so confident in him they didn't sign a single veteran on the roster, anointed him the starter over Josh & went into week 1 with only 2 QB's with a combined 2 games of starting experience between them to open. They genuinely believed he was going to be good enough to play out the season while Josh sat & developed, but were so wrong he couldn't make it through the first game without being benched. Combine that with a starting group of WR's who would be hard pressed to make an NFL roster anywhere else, & an O-line setup to make a QB's life a living hell, Josh was more likely to get KO'd after a few games than actually DEVELOP. But Josh plugged away, worked closely with his QB coaches & OC, spent the offseason fixing his mechanics, spent countless hours in film studies to improve his pre & post snap reads, and worked to develop bonds with teammates that improved their own confidence in him. Then after improved team success, he didn't stop. He threw himself into more studying, more workouts, getting closer with his new star receiver, & really made the team his own. ********* I say this because I don't think we'll see anything like it for a long time. Other NFL teams are more likely to fail repeatedly, trying to take shots at raw, physically gifted, "potential," guys than to ever see them properly develop them into a franchise QB. Josh is a unicorn, a result of his own efforts & hard work. He wasn't guaranteed anything, & was thrust into action that almost seemed setup to fail (like many Bills QBs before him). Instead, he just worked through it & was rewarded for his efforts (and the team rewarded for their patience & support). TL;DR - Allen deserves all the credit in the world, but often he doesn't get the actual credit he specifically deserves.
  21. I love Josh, but I don't think he's even the best personality on the team. I'd give that honor to Stefon Diggs. Every week he's also out there giving back to fans & uplifting his teammates. Take this recent clip for example- And in interviews, he's one of the most chill, down to earth, fun personalities to be around. Considering his position is known for "divas," he's been remarkably humble for a star player. Just a great dude to be around.
  22. This part is accurate though... I've been following the Bills 2001(ish) on the official forums, & every year people were trying to will it into existence that Kelly Holcomb or Levi Brown (basically ANYONE) would break through & lead that particular roster to the playoffs. And every year there'd be tons of overconfident posts proclaiming 11-5 or 13-3 seasons, with proclamations of Brady's demise surely on its way.
  23. I'd take the red helmet over the white all day, every day, but I'd prefer it with the 2 white stirpes & 1 blue down the middle. Oh, but I don't like the red jerseys 😅
  24. The only ones I still own are Josh Allen (current/blue), Jim Kelly (throwback/blue), Tre White (current/white) & Thurman Thomas (throwback/white/signed😁) Got rid of all the others.
  25. Probably just what we want to hear more than how it's really going. Seems like most reports talk about him struggling with holding or being overly aggressive in man coverage. Obviously, that will improve with reps & time, so I'm not worried. He just needs to acclimate to the speed/size of the NFL compared to his college competition & get some more experience under his belt.
