  1. Playing tight once again... Is it too much to just have one good game against a top AFC opponent?
  2. And that's why these guys will never amount to much, unlike Bills Legend & Hall of Famer Terrell "T.O." Owens who we gave a key to the city (in exchange for future Super Bowl rings...it was only fair).
  3. The Dolphins right now remind me of the frustration we Bills fans endured during the Tyrod era. I know many fans championed him for years, but there were times our defense did damn near everything perfectly all game, but the offense just couldn't muster anything of value. You would see fantastic performances go to waste time & time again because the offense simply couldn't do anything but go 3 & out or check the ball down.
  4. Dolphins need to get some Fitzmagic in there if they actually want to win
  5. Technically Baltimore is sitting at #9 right now, but yeah, they've got an easy schedule after tomorrow night. I'd be shocked if they didn't at least finish with 3 more wins.
  6. Also, is this you? The low view count makes me think it must be somebody on these boards that just wanted to show off their sweet Bills room, and all the views are from us watching you dance around 😂
  7. I like the New Era Field sign in the background...except with "New Era" crossed out lol
  8. Miami has the most difficult remaining schedule out of all the current top 7 AFC playoff teams. They're in for a rough ride. Tennessee on the other hand, they're the ones looking like they can cruise into the playoffs.
  9. Just weighing the risk vs the reward. Analytics show teams should go for it on 4th more often than they do, and thankfully the Bills have been great at it. Leading the league in both 3rd & 4th down conversions (80%+ on 4th if I recall), and if it fails, you have a strong defense to give you a good chance to retain great field position.
  10. I mean I 100% agree with you, but the reasoning for the transitions don't matter. Teams giving up or moving on from players can be said for all the QB's listed in the original post (Plunket wasn't viewed as a franchise QB either, the Niners were ready to push Montana out the door near the end, Belichick had no interest in Bledsoe after seeing what Brady could do etc). And I don't think Dak is #1 QB in the league-type of player, but if the verdict is still out on him, then the verdict is still out on Allen... Dak is about to become the highest paid QB in the league for a reason, as he's shown plenty enough to be a franchise guy. 42-27 W/L record, averaging nearly 4,000 yards a season, 106 TD's to 40 INT's, 66% completions, 97.3 passer rating. Definitely not the best in the world, but a great followup to Romo? Certainly.
  11. In some recent years, we've had some pretty successful transitions too. Chargers went from Brees to Rivers, that's not bad. Cowboys went from Romo to Prescott. Chiefs went from Smith to Mahomes. Ravens went from Flacco to Jackson. I know those aren't all legends, but they went from playoff/SB QB's to other playoff/SB QB's.
  12. Man, I hate threads like these just out of superstition lol I'd just feel so dumb if I said "yeah, definitely!" only to watch the Bills get manhandled later tonight.
  13. I sure hope not. He was crucial to our success last year, and even though we can obviously succeed without him, you never know what could happen with injuries, and if Beasley or Diggs went down, I'd sure feel a hell of a lot better having Brown there to pick up the slack.
  14. I would absolutely, 100% be shocked to see that. Everything else you said though, I'm all good with
  15. Any signature win against a top Conference opponent would be he biggest win in recent memory... mainly because I can't think of any in recent memory. The Bills have always fallen short when it comes to the elite AFC teams. If we beat Pitt, it'll be the biggest for sure. Not only because we beat a top-tier opponent, but because we're in the playoff hunt atop our own division while doing so. After the 1999-2000 seasons, it took us until 2017-2018 to make the playoffs again (with a little help). So starting with that season, we beat the 10-6 Chiefs during the regular season, but also lost to the Patriots twice and the Jags in the playoffs. In 2019-2020, we lost to the Pats twice, the Ravens, and the Texans in the playoffs, but did beat a Tannehill-less Titans early in the season. The Steelers are a late game Conference rival headed to the playoffs. Easily our biggest in the Bills playoff era
  16. At the very least we would add some real color to that ugly-ass division. Do you like Black with hints of orange, yellow, or purple? If so, the AFC North is the place to go! I think Ralph would've liked that too. But someone's gotta find a place for Indianapolis... Being in the AFC South still just doesn't make a lot of sense logistically.
  17. Looking at the current playoff teams' schedules, I'm wondering what the final seeding could look like given who we're all playing: 1) Steelers: @ Bills, @ Bengals, Colts & @ Browns (Opponents W/L - 28/19/1 and 3 x playoff teams) ***Most Playoff-bound Teams (Currently)*** 2) Chiefs: @ Dolphins, @ Saints, Falcons & Chargers (Opponents W/L - 25/23 and 2 x playoff teams) 3) Bills: Steelers, @ Broncos, @ Patriots, Dolphins (Opponents W/L - 29/19 and 2 x playoff teams) 4) Titans: @ Jaguars, Lions, @ Packers, @ Texans (Opponents W/L - 19/29 and 1 x playoff team) ***Lowest Opponent Win %*** 5) Browns: Ravens, @ Giants, @ Jets, Steelers (Opponents W/L - 23/25 and 1 playoff team) 6) Dolphins: Chiefs, Patriots, @ Raiders, @ Bills (Opponents W/L - 33/15 and 2 playoff teams) ***Highest Opponent Win %*** 7) Colts: @ Raiders, Texans, @ Steelers, Jaguars (Opponents W/L - 23/25 and 1 playoff team) Titans could easily move up based on their remaining schedule, plus they have the tie-breaker in a head-to-head against us. Dolphins have a rough schedule, as their worst opponent is still .500 & it happens to be the Patriots who you can never underestimate. Aside from that, the Bills technically have the 2nd most difficult schedule in terms of opponents' W/L record, barely edging out the Steelers. We likely need to finish these last games going 3-1 if we want to edge out Tennessee, barring a complete collapse on their part. We're definitely going to be tested down the stretch, but thankfully the Dolphins are too.
  18. I could've sworn years ago in another MNF game. We were the top rated, or 2nd highest rated game of the year, not just MNF. Oh, and wasn't the Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys one of the top rated games too? Edit: Yeah, it was - https://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2019/11/bills-cowboys-ratings-thanksgiving-most-watched-cbs/#:~:text=Over 32 million for Bills-Cowboys%2C among best in years,-by Paulsen&text=Thursday's Bills-Cowboys NFL Thanksgiving,-Dallas%3A 35.10M). "It trails only the 2016 game as the most-watched regular season telecast since Patriots-Giants in 2007, which aired on three networks (33.39M), and the most-watched on Thanksgiving since 1998 (Vikings-Cowboys: 32.7M)."
  19. I'm sure he loves being here, but if he's offered a HC position, there's no way he's turning it down unless it's an absolute mess of an organization from top to bottom (like the Jets). Add to the fact he can point to Allen's dramatic growth in year 3, and any team that has a young QB or is looking to draft one will absolutely see him as the solution for their HC gig.
  20. Cleveland could very well finish 12-4 or 13-3 if they keep playing like they have been, so they might end up ranked higher. They only have the Ravens, Giants & Jets left, along with Pittsburgh week 17. The 2 division games are obviously huge for them, but they have a chance against both.
  21. Just remember everyone, you get respect when you EARN respect. Getting bent out of shape any time someone doesn't pick the Bills to win a game any given week isn't "disrespect," nor is critiquing a player's on the field performance. Notice all the positive things being said? When you win, do it on the road, beat good teams, have your best players playing complete games, etc. you will get praised.
  22. I say you never look ahead, especially if it's an important matchup to determine the division crown. Dolphins aren't going to be holding anything back, and I'm sure Daboll won't be either. It's not like they won't have 15 games worth of tape on us anyway, what's one more to add to the list?
  23. Saying he does it on his own is kind of a disservice to the amazing receivers & O-line play. I get what you're saying, but I don't want those guys to get lost in the mix. It's certainly weird... Even more strange to me is how people are fine just cruising on by the tons of positive coverage, but the second anyone isn't taking the Bills to win a game or doesn't hype up a player they immediately grab the pitchforks 😂
  24. I was hoping someone else caught this. Our tam hasn't really exploited home field "advantage" in bad weather for quite a long time now. In poor conditions, it usually leads to an uglier, mistake filled game where the offense struggles. It seems to hurt just as much as help. But now we have great players at the WR positions and a QB who can get the ball to them. We can really air it out, potentially for the next decade+ On top of that, we have some of the loudest and most passionate fans. An indoor stadium would boost that crowd noise even further. After hearing how loud it was in Reliant Stadium a couple years ago with plenty of empty seats, I could only imagine how loud a capacity crowd of Bills fans would be in our own dome.
  25. Logan Thomas looked great. Still can't believe this happened. Apparently Washington was the team with the worst record to ever beat an 11-0 team too lol.
