  1. Shhh! Only the Bills have hindsight though, every other team has to just guess 😜
  2. Despite the setbacks & reappearance of some bad habits in recent weeks, I still like what I've seen of Allen in year 3. The one thing I'd like to see improved is his ability to drop back, make a decision & release the ball in a timely manner. No running around, no sitting back perusing the field, just 5 step drop & sling it. I had noticed this issue to a degree before, but after watching some media pundits talk about his pros & cons, one guy asked (can't remember who) "when was the last time you've seen Allen be ready to pass in stride immediately after completing his drop back?" The last 2 years, Allen has lead the league or been in the top 2 for average time, holding onto the ball, in spite of having very good protection a lot of the time. They talked about how you rarely see 5 or 7 steps back, plant the feet, pass. Now I'm not saying it NEVER happens, I just didn't notice how often that turned out to be true after watching old games & highlights. Hopefully he continues to improve in that area.
  3. Gotta be Moorman. I mean he was one of the only legit top tier player the Bills had for years during the drought. It was fun watching him & our ST pin people deep or completely reverse field position after our pitiful offenses did absolutely nothing.
  4. I know I'll be in the minority here (because like you said people tend to always be nostalgic for things they grew up with), but I agree with what you said with one exception. As a whole, I think the sport is better. As a product, there are issues, primarily the overabundance of ads & product placement. I get the NFL is a big business always looking for new sources of revenue, but the breaks in game action to discuss sponsors, constant cuts to commercials that last longer than the small bit of game time we watched, and the incorporation of ads into everything can dampen the experience. Hell, just look at stadium names. They're worse than college football bowl games with the amount of sponsorship & name changes, many sounding absolutely ridiculous. It's rare that a stadium has a sports-related or historically significant name that matters to the team/town/franchise. Then next year, you suddenly have a new sponsor, new stadium name & it sounds even more commercialized. Wouldn't be surprised if next year New Era, I mean placeholder name Bills Stadium, is renamed to "Little Caesar's Hot & Ready Bills Coliseum!"
  5. Who would I least like to date my sister? Probably my other sister. That would be a bit unsettling.
  6. Pssh, if they get a re-draft, we get a redraft too & can go back & take Mahomes. We can then trade up to take Tre White still instead of using a ton of picks to trade up twice the following year for both Allen & Edmunds. So the Browns can suck it, they can keep Mayfield lol. Though in fairness, I think Mayfield is actually a talented player, that organization is just dumb from top to bottom.
  7. I hate looking ahead like this, as it simply never goes the way it looks on paper. Bad teams have played us close, good teams have played us close, the offense still disappears in the 3rd quarter... you just never know with this team. I'm hoping for better, but I think 3-3 through the final stretch is likely. Just need one of those wins to be against Miami.
  8. If that was the Bills that had done that, we'd be saying "perfect throw by Allen!" not blaming the opposing team's defenders for not stopping the TD. As much as it hurts, that really was a perfect throw by Murray...hit Hopkins EXACTLY where he needed to. And Hopkins is a top WR in the league, so if it hits his hands, he's expected to catch it...3 defenders or not. Just have to give credit to them for precise execution.
  9. Anyone who scoffed at this thread hasn't been paying attention the last 2 years. Even if you just casually pay attention to the games & never see a single stat, it's plainly obvious we look awful in the 3rd quarter nearly every game. Doesn't help that they tend to carry over part of that into the 4th quite often, it's just that we usually find a way to snap out of it by the end.
  10. If the offense didn't derp around for nearly the entire 2nd half, game would've looked different. But they finally put points on the board at the very end, problem was so did the Cards. Great final offensive drive, awful final defensive stance. That's just the Bills sometimes I guess.
  11. I feel bad for Diggs... Came off the field thinking he had just won the game.
  12. But how many incredible catches or pure feats of effort have we seen all year, or just this game alone? Beasley becoming 7 feet tall & catching the ball with one hand to convert on 3rd, Diggs diving back of the endzone for a TD? It's just incredible to see.
  13. Our WR's deserve more credit. I'm 100% not trying to take anything away from Allen's growth this season (despite his setbacks this game), but our WR's have done MIRACLES for making this team look good.
  14. Can we get a 3rd INT to seal the stupidity?
  15. The hell was Allen thinking... I'm sure people will blame everyone but Allen, but c'mon...
  16. Of course, had to start with a penalty... an obvious one at that.
  17. The defense is TRYING to give us a win... c'mon offense, do your part!
  18. Only positive about that "drive" was giving our defense a chance to rest. Fantastic punt by Bojo too.
  19. Announcers: "4 penalties on Buffalo, 6 on Arizona." Bills players: "That doesn't seem fair, let's even that up really quick."
  20. Bills may have caught a break on that one. When the defense gives you some life, you HAVE to take advantage.
  21. He knew blitz was coming, and still just tried to hold on to it... then lobbed it up in the middle of a crowd as he was going down. Definitely a bad decision.
  22. I prefer less prime time games honestly. The Bills just don't play well most of the time in those games. Either they just have really bad luck, or they get too hyped/nervous for the big games & end up crumbling under the pressure. Only with prime time games, all eyes are on them, which tends to result in my friends sending me a bunch of texts/memes rubbing it in.
  23. There's so much salt in those responses, it's hilarious. C'mon, it's a fan vote. Sorry your fans don't offer the same level of support? Really found this response amusing:
  24. Damn, that's almost prophetic. I gotta start paying more attention to Hasselbeck.
  25. I feel so vindicated on Daboll. Every year "we need a new OC!" posts litter the board, but you could see the play calls weren't the issue. It was execution. Now that we're able to execute these plays, suddenly the picture is much more rosy & positive. I really hope Daboll sticks around, but if he gets a big offer for a HC spot, he'll likely take it.
