  1. #7 is particularly underrated. I mean c'mon, he won us that game that one time against that team that mattered!
  2. "Reply hazy, try again." WHAT ALL DOES IT MEAN?! It predicted 13-3 last year? That's impressive!
  3. This is honestly what I'd expect. I don't think he'll hit the same statistical highs, but he'll still improve overall as a signal caller. Hopefully the offense has a better run game this year, so that alone might reduce his overall numbers, but I still think his football IQ will continue to get better. He'll get better recognizing defenses, feel more comfortable making adjustments at the line, and he'll get rid of the ball quicker. He'll likely feel less pressure to hang on to the ball for too long, always wanting to make a big play. So as a whole, he'll be a more efficient & intelligent QB, while still being the playmaker we need when necessary.
  4. Considering the numbers he puts up from the DT position, I can see why he's in that conversation. And it's not like he just lucks into some sacks either. The guy is a real force to be reckoned with, and can single-handedly disrupt an entire offense. Sacks aside, he's great in every facet of the game. He can eat space or get penetration, even while double teamed, get his hands up to tip passes or impede the QB's line of sight, pressure QB's to move out of the pocket, stuff the run entirely, or even pursue a runner from behind & make a play. If he stays healthy & has a long career, he will consistently be put at the top of all time greats lists.
  5. You know... after football was over & he stopped talking about the Bills, I was starting to enjoy some of his stuff... especially his segments with Cowherd where he'd call him out on all his ridiculous stuff. But here we go again with his anti-Bills schtick & propping up the Browns (and now Dolphins) instead. It's ok, this time next year he'll be talking about how great the Bills are & pretending as if he never doubted them in the first place.
  6. I feel like you should go back & watch those Bills Super Bowls, looks at Kelly's individual accolades (not even counting stats, as Brady blows Kelly out of the water in every regard there), and think about how stupid it is for anyone to go to 10 Super Bowls, W/L record aside. When that Bills team's biggest accomplishment was going to 4 straight Super Bowls & losing them all, compare that to Brady... The guy has lost 3 himself...BUT WON SEVEN ON TOP OF THAT. I mean I'm trying to factor in people who won a Super Bowl as relief after the starter was injured like Foles, people like Rob Johnson who were backups on SB teams, guys who were old & just managed a team like Manning's ring in Denver, etc. and still you don't find a player who sniffs that Super Bowl history... The only discussion you could ever possibly make that's not completely insane is saying that those 90's Bills teams could possibly have beaten a particular Brady-lead Super Bowl team. Otherwise, there's no debate to be had.
  7. If your main "point" wasn't bad enough, leaving Brady out of the top 5 completely negates anything else you could ever possibly say. I don't care how much of a homer someone is, I don't care if you despise Brady (so do I), pretending a QB who has more Super Bowl wins than any whole franchise in their entire history, has nearly twice as many rings as the next closest QB, is in the top 3 for every QB stat in history, and did it all in the FREE AGENCY ERA when it was thought to be impossible, absolutely destroys this idea. There have been more physically talented, but results > physical talent. When Jordan lost a lot of his athleticism, he adjusted his game & still was the best due to his work ethic, basketball IQ, and development of other skills. I cannot believe I'm having to defend this guy...but here I am 🤮
  8. Sanders has been a solid deep threat for years, and is also great from the slot. He consistently get separation which is what matters most. He's also playing in an offense that spreads the field more, and he's got good speed off the line. Yes, he's a bit slower than Brown, but not even close to slow. I know Google says his 40 time was 4.4 seconds, but in game he's shown to be quite fast when it matters. So I think he'll still provide an upgrade overall as long as he stays healthy
  9. Hey, he could be the TE version of Lorax! You never know
  10. It feels weird to think McDermott is on his 5th season here & he's not close to being fired! It used to be unimaginable that any coach would make it through 4 full seasons, let alone not be on the hot seat with replacement speculation running rampant. This is such a comforting feeling! And nobody is demanding to fire our OC & blaming them for every offensive shortcoming? SUPER comforting! I love this 😁
  11. Yay! There's still hope for Jack Anderson! I've never been so excited for a guy to be a part of the PS, but here we are...
  12. What I've noticed is the people who are dedicated enough to frequent these boards don't tend to like much change 😂 I don't think it's bad or anything. Pretty decent for an alternate actually (though I'd hate it if it was the full time helmet). But I'm still partial to the 90's helmet & uniform. The red helmet with the blue charging buffalo looks beautiful to me. Oh, and bring back the red endzones!
  13. Don't forget, Metlife is being shared between 2 franchises, so the cost is split between them & the projected returns are increased to compensate for that.
  14. Not a full $600 million more expensive, and with being in the suburbs instead of downtown...and being open-air instead of a dome... and being smaller... If you were literally building Lucas Oil stadium in NY, I could see it getting closing that gap. But when you cut out so much, it doesn't add up.
  15. For $1.4 billion, I'm shocked it won't have a roof (retractable or otherwise), more suites & only 60k seats. I know New York state is more expensive to do a lot of things and inflation exists but... Considering the Colts got a domed stadium built downtown for half that price, Jerry World was built for the same price (with 300+ suites & up to 100k seats), Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta was $1.58 billion (that's adjusted for inflation, with 180 suites & up to 80k seats), etc... what the heck are they doing with all that money? My point isn't they need more seats or suites, as I'm sure the proposed amount works for the local economics & all, but unless those seats are full leather recliners with built in massagers & seat warmers, where is all that money going? All the above stadiums are domed, state of the art, have all the bells & whistles, and are massive, but the Bills want to spend nearly the same amount, if not more than others, on a new roofless stadium in Orchard Park still? Are they going to deck it out with a live Bison habitat instead of fish tanks like some MLB stadiums or something? Even Met-Life was $1.7 billion (closer to $2 billion now) to build in one of the most expensive areas but was being used by 2 franchises. I'm just confused on how it could possibly be so expensive for such a modest projection of a venue.
  16. Seeing as how we're in the middle of a pandemic, ironically you'll be more likely to witness a Super Bowl win by staying home & not attending Bills games. So just hang in there! But uh yeah... just don't actually go watch them play 👍
  17. It's also not good to ballance out your Cheeseburger addiction with a cocaine addiction 😉
  18. If both our games against the Pats weren't so late in the season, I'd say they should pull a Lawyer Milloy & sign him just for a bit of inside info
  19. Dammit... Was really looking forward to Cam running the Pats into the ground some more :(
  20. I know TE isn't great, but our passing game is good enough to make it not as big an issue. The DT's on the other hand... that's the biggest weakness because it causes a glaring issue that's extremely detrimental to the entirety of the defense. Teams like the Chiefs and Titans didn't even need to pass. Every run was for huge gains, and kept our offense off the field. You can hide the bad TEs when your passing attack is still so good, but those DT's being unable to stop the run drags the whole defense down.
  21. After 6-8 double cheeseburgers a week, I'm sure it's in a shape of some kind... Perhaps a 🍐 shape, but still a shape.
  22. Just hoping they hang onto Jack Anderson. After some development time, he could be great. Then again, I'm definitely biased since he came from Texas Tech 😅
  23. Remember when our #1 WR was Kelvin Benjamin & a bunch of people nobody's heard of? And remember when our RB's lead the team in receptions? Yeah, it's FANTASTIC not to have that problem anymore 😂
  24. It's still just refreshing to know 3rd & long doesn't equal an automatic punt like it did with Tyrod. Those plays where you're just resigned to giving up & doing a quick check down not even trying to get any yardage or convert just sucked. Now if only 3rd & long when we're on defense didn't feel like such a cursed down, I'd be happy. I swear, I feel more confident we'll stop the opposing offense on 3rd & 4 than I do 3rd & 14.
  25. The only QBs above him are Tom Brady & Patrick Mahomes (edit: oops, and Rodgers). That's incredible imo! C'mon, we're Bills fans... Having a Bills QB ranked the 10th best player in the NFL by his peers? I can't complain one bit, as it was insane to even imagine something so crazy just a few years ago. When the only 3 guys at the position above him are the "magician" (as Bucs players kept calling him), the MVP & the GOAT, I'm perfectly fine knowing 28 other starting QB's are looking up at him from below And hey, just gives him one more goal in the end. Keep growing & improving, and he'll claw his way up even more. Congrats to him! He's still Brady & still won yet another Super Bowl. It's voted on by other players in the league, and Brady has been consistent for 2 decades now. Allen had one breakout year & still shot up to #10. It makes sense to me, but then again, the entire list is mainly just what other players think & doesn't mean anything on the field.
