  1. I want everyone to really remember the great times this season & hold onto that, because there's ZERO guarantee we'll be back any time soon. It's easy to just think "oh we'll only get better from here" and keep improving, but that's not a certainty. And even if we do improve, there's 31 other teams in the league also working to improve, and success isn't a given. Every team that makes a Conference Championship isn't a shoe-in to go back, nor is making a Super Bowl something you can just expect to happen. Allen may or may not get better, the defense may or may not get better, the division may or may not get better. You just never know. And as we've been reminded, the playoffs are a whole 'nother animal. This team came into the post season with all the momentum in the world, then looked completely different once playoffs started. Allen often looked like he was feeling the pressure of the moment, but that doesn't mean he's not a good QB. Look at Rodgers, widely considered one of the most talented QB's in history...yet he's been to the NFC Championship game 5 times & only came away with a win once. Brees is at the top of nearly every passing record, yet struggled to get over the hump with one exception. Rivers couldn't even get to the SB. These guys had LONG careers too. If you're not a phenom like Mahomes or the GOAT like Brady, you can't just expect AFC Championships or Super Bowls to fall in your lap. So I for one am thankful I was able to experience this much success in one year, see the Bills talked about so highly, see Allen climb new heights, see Diggs break all franchise records, watch us sweep the Patriots, and see players like Beasley have career years. THANK YOU BILLS!
  2. Chiefs 34 Buffalo 20 You know, to jinx those bastards.
  3. I wish the Bills played first so I could really have a rooting interest. If the Bills win, I want the Bucs to win so we can have a shot at cleansing the Brady demons by defeating him in the Super Bowl. BUT...if the worst happens & the Bills lose, I'd rather the Packers get in. Chiefs vs Packers would be a fun one.
  4. People breath out their nose, so if you've contracted it, it's still going out right in the same place... You do realize that's why everyone else, including those in the medical field, cover both right?
  5. Side note, why where a mask at all if you're just gonna have your nose uncovered? 😂
  6. Man, I wish I had that same belief, but after seeing great QB's come away with none, or all-timers like Brees or Rodgers come away with only one, I'd be happy just seeing ONE SB win. He's taken a big step in the regular season, but he hasn't come out & dominated in the post season or anything. Football is a massive team game. Allen could play like Brady or Montana, and if he doesn't have exceptional coaching & the supporting cast, winning multiple SB's will be damn near impossible. There's just so many things that have to go right. That's why people like Joe Flacco or Eli Manning can go on a playoff tear after being slightly above average in the regular season, while people like Phillip Rivers or Dan Marino can go an entire career without a ring.
  7. You guys are looking & taking offense to just the Josh Allen thing. Look at the entire point. Get off Allen's balls & assess the rest of the situation. No run game. Defense allowing opponents in the redzone a lot, yet getting lucky with them coming away with no points. Larger crowd. Offense not looking like it did during the rest of the season. Let go of your Josh Allen fanaticism & see the rest of the situation for what it is. Lastly, it wasn't "my post," or my points. It was Cowherd's & Wright. I was just reposting it on here -
  8. I'm more concerned about what Cowherd said during the segment. It makes a lot of sense. We have no running game. The Ravens & Colts made it to the redzone 8 times & came away with 16 points...Chiefs won't come away with an average of 2 points per redzone attempt. They gave the reigns to Allen in the Ravens game in the 1st half & said "we're putting it on you!" (due to no running game) & we came away with 3 points. Our team doesn't looks like it did in the regular season, and playing the Chiefs is going to be a huge challenge. To me, it looks like Allen plays a bit more hyped up with fans around, and playing in Arrowhead where they allow a lot more fans could make it even more difficult for him.
  9. Nah, he doesn't really expect the NFL to move the game to fit Mahomes' schedule, that would bring rioting in the streets for the countless other teams that had to play through injury. He just wants to see the best 2 young QB's battle it out, as most of America would prefer to see.
  10. I don't care who's running the show, but whoever it is, make damn sure to do whatever it takes to draft a big, fata** DT that can clog the middle, and then draft every decent RB available lol
  11. I don't even have to read the responses, you're just right. Allen even stated how comfortable he is & how much control he has when throwing while playing in a dome. And it's painfully obvious our offense just doesn't play well in the conditions, especially now that we don't have a dynamic back to pound the ball. Either that, or Allen gets nervous playing in front of fans & falters under the pressure.
  12. Wait, what? He mentions them & show their "ritual" damn near every time the bet is brought up on TV! They can't possibly feel slighted by that lol
  13. I've been thinking about this a lot lately. The modern greats like Smith, Thomas, Kelly, Reed, Bennett, Talley, Tasker, etc. are highly regarded, all-timers to us Bills fans. Even though they were a part of teams that lost 4 straight Super Bowls, Bills fans have worn that like a badge of honor. Those are the "glory days," with the rest of our history being that of failures, soul crushing plays like the Music City "Miracle," and getting smacked around by Brady & the Pats for 2 decades. We're the only AFCE team with 0 x Super Bowl wins. We had the longest active playoff drought in North American Sports. Our best player was our punter for years. Now, we're faced with a team that is competing for a Super Bowl win. It's something we've all dreamed of, but never seemed obtainable. IF it happens, it almost feels like everything I've honored as a Bills fan gets thrown on its head. The little man syndrome, Bills PTSD, and the underdog pride kinda goes out the window. We'd be the reigning Super Bowl champs. We'd be front-runners. The team's legends are now eclipsed. Allen leapfrogs Kelly. The former greats with no rings who represented us are no longer our identity. People won't be shocked to see me in Texas wearing Bills gear. I already get questions this year about "were you always a Bills fan?" or comments like "funny to see Bills fans coming out of the shadows!" even though I've always been wearing them... Which leads to the inevitable influx of new fans, a new generation of front runner kids who are drawn to the team...something unimaginable just a few years ago. Simply put, the entire legacy of the franchise changes in the minds of those on the outside. Will you guys feel different being fans of the frontrunner team, the reigning champs? Will the new guys be elevated above the current legends in your mind? I think the common response would be "I'll always appreciate what they did, nothing will replace them" but will it feel weird having Allen & Co. leapfrog them in terms of success? I hate to admit it, but it feels weird to me! Not used to this kind of attention & spotlight on the team, and I'd always be thankful for the success the legends brought to us in the 90's, but after a Bills SB win (fingers crossed), history will look back & shine attention on THIS group first & foremost, not the previous one. We will be the team that gets every opponent's best shot. It's a foreign dynamic that doesn't feel real. We haven't reached that point yet, but we're eerily close. Here's hoping we get to experience it 😁
  14. Not really. With Reid as their coach & the weapons they have, I think they'll be confident regardless. Like I said, it's an advantage to have Mahomes, but they're not going to suddenly be worried. They're professionals, they're the defending SB champions. We're in their house. You think these grown ass men are going to suddenly be worried they're going to lose now? Hell no. They think they're going to win each & every game.
  15. Tbf, I heard more Josh Allen MVP discussion during the broadcast than Jackson. Anything related to MVP + Jackson was in regards to him being the reigning MVP.
  16. They didn't need Mahomes much last time they played us. Of course it'd be better for them if he did play, but I don't think him being out just means the Chiefs will suddenly be worried. I'm sure McDermott will prepare the team as if he's playing anyway. Hopefully Frasier has something planned to stop Kelce & that run game.
  17. I'm happiest about the win, but wish we could have a complete game. Hopefully next week is where we put it all together. Josh in the elements isn't at his best, so hoping wherever we play the weather is conducive to a productive passing game 😁
  18. How bout that defense now? They were so damn impressive.
  19. I don't care what anyone says, I want this to happen just for the memes that will live on for eternity.
  20. If this were the regular season, the Bills would've been up several TD's by now, but Allen has been playing tight & missing open looks. Then again, Harbaugh is undefeated on the road in the playoffs, so he could just have some satanic juju working in his favor 😂
  21. Get this man a dome. Allen may have a strong arm, but the guy CLEARLY is a better passer without windy weather or playing in the conditions.
  22. This is brutal to watch. Getting EVERYTHING you want from the defense, even having the NFL's best kicker go 0/2 on FG's...and suddenly our QB looks inaccurate as hell on deep balls Is it too much to ask for one complete game in the post season? Lol I feel like the post season pressure is really getting to them
  23. Should've been 10-0, but Allen is playing a little tight. Deep ball is way off tonight. Can't keep doing nothing with it when our defense is actually doing their job.
  24. All I can say is I've feel the same way, down to the stressors and trying to psych myself out of being so passionate about the Bills at times (after the Cowboys MNF loss years ago, I wanted so bad to hate this team but couldn't). So no, you're not alone. Just try not to get worked up if we lose. I know it's easier said than done, but at the end of the day, it's just football. The Bills have historically had some really s*** luck, and if it happens again, just chalk it up to being a Bills fan. It almost seems like it wouldn't be the Bills if they became a front-runner, SB winning team all of a sudden 🤣
