He hasnt played so poorly that he has to be cut. Id expect him to be on the team. Not knowing what happens with Phillips, Star is a decent starter on paper. Having a day 2 pick or tier 2 or 3 FA yo compete with makes sense.

So far I dont hate the Wr Beane has targeted. Brown, Beasley, Davis, Diggs and Sanders. He chased Brown, Sanders and Diggs for multiple offseasons and trade cycles. Use that and look at the draft. Every year the fastest clocked guy isnt the best guy. If they go wr day 1 or 2 I really like Jahan Dotson. Fast enough to win outside. I think he has everything to be a deadly route runner.

Wasnt a fan of bringing him in as an OC. What he did at LSU and with Sean Payton, Brady is a homerun as QB coach. If something happens with Dorsey they got a guy on deck.

At this point does it matter? Allen is the franchise. He wants his Qb coach as the Oc make it happen. Keep him happy.

What many forget. Daboll was not part of the tare down in Buffalo. Mcdermott was able to isolate veteran leadership and remove those that didnt work or follow his way regardless of salary. Beane was able to flip those players Mcdermott wanted out and piled assets to get Allen. NYG are in a severely worse position than Buf was. Idk what leadership is there and they have no cap to absorb the cap implications of removing the past contract mistakes.

Cast a wide search. Who has the best vision of the offense and Allen. Where ever that takes em, I am ok with it. New wrinkles. More schemed open guys. Every play cant be Allen read the defense make the right throw. The offense needs a little, vs this look this guy will be wide open type plays. The best offensive minds do this with regularity.

Tom Brady? Yes. In any capacity. Joe Brady? No.

Cast a wide net. Find the next Shannahan, Mcvay, Lafluer. That will require talking to guys the fans dont know. They could also be putting together a completely new offensive staff. More than OC possible Qb coach aswell.

Think outside the box. Buffalo has to stay creative with the offense. The job will be highly sought after. No issue at all talking to people they feel are talented.

Im not all in on any of them. Pederson as an Oc is questionable. Seemed Riech had the scheme and creativity. The questions with Brady, does he have an NFL passing attack? I believe Chris Simms questioned some things with his offense a few weeks before he was fired. Obviously, Dorsey is an unknown. Of the three give me continuity and maintain the same offensive principles.

How would the defense know what he is doing?? Overall, imo Buffalo didnt have anyone they trusted to play up on Hill or Kelce. I said it before I will say it now. This was the game not having White costed them. White defenses that play and is in position where Mahomes looks to the otherside.

Multiple offense. When a personal or formation works hammering it until its stopped. In those circumstances use tempo and dictate to the defense.

Daboll is a pretty creative guy. Maybe not the best play caller but I felt good at developing an offense and gameplan. Allen for the most part is deciding the play at the line.

Agreed. Allen is the way. LG can be had day 2 who probably starts day 1 and is ready to roll. Day 3 with a bit of luck can get the same thing. I find it hard to believe Beane draft a lineman rd 1 who isnt a tackle or center. Is Morse retiring? He had a hell of a year and was healthy. Im assuming he is back. Outside of Morse retiring I dont think Beane values Lg that much to draft a tackle rd 1 and play him at guard.

White was drafted where we pick are picking. What if White never gets back to his elite level? Having undrafted FAs and day 3 corners are not slowing the elite offense. I feel like when you are looking at premier positions cb is top 5. You can find a very good one back half of rd 1. Every other position that is questionable can be upgraded day 2 and 3. Play maker or cb can really only be upgraded day 1.
