Beane is heavy on traits in rd 1. I expect a jr age 20.5 to 21.5. I think they will look at secondary and wr. I think those will be players pushed down by a few Qbs and the amount of Dline and Oline drafted prior to 25. I put secondary specifically and not just Cb b/c I can see them going with the best athlete even if he could be seen as a slot or saftey like Hill. I think Olave or Skyy Moore could also be in play. Losing Beasley is alot of production and targets getting a guy who can play slot but adds some speed would make sense to me.

I think they go Lb 2nd or 3rd if they draft one at all. Im looking at Db or Wr honestly.

I look at it as a way to get a 2nd rd player for a first rd player. I dont see anyone paying a day 2 pick for him. A way to save face and allows Buffalo to move on for a guy who could be a different guy in our culture and with our Qb.

Epenesa for Toney and a 6th. Who says no Dont have to LIKE everyone on the team. His skill set with Allen would be a problem. Worst case he flames out. Best case oh my.

Honestly, seems like the 6th lineman. Insurance for Saffold, Bates, Brown and is making Doyle earn a roster spot. Very good pick up imo. These guys are becoming the standard for other organizations to copy.

Yes and no. Rotating is important. In the critical moments of the game the best players gotta be on the field. Thats what he is saying. Also, he is being paid 54 mil to do something. Third and long best believe you let him eat.

I dont think Hall is the best back. I dont believe its close. His combine shot him up the the media attention. Now I agree more best players the better. However there are 32 variants of that idea.

I get it. All im saying is if they would take Etinne or Harris last year, Walker is the only guy close imo. Depending how the draft plays out Walker could be in play.

I know Breece Hall is an athletic freak. Singletary looks like a faster player. I dont think Breece Hall’s athleticism shows up watching him play. I think Walker is the only guy worth taking at 25. He plays as fast as his 40. He also is better at making defenders miss tackles.

Seems like a day 3 target. Lots of good wr are day 3. Diggs and Davis are to name a few. Moves similar to Beasley imo. Seems like a decent option to develop behind Crowder and Mckenzie for a year.

He runs nothing like Lynch. I would say more Levon Bell a patient runner. Lynch had better feet, vision, and ran with a violence few can replicate.

Agreed. Im also assuming Poyer is going to want top safety money. I think Edmunds could be had for an easier cap hit. He is young enough where a long contract will provide more flexibility. I think we ride as is in 2022. I can see Oliver and Edmunds having very good years with better play at 1 tech.

McCreary and Olave.

He is still about the age of the current draft class. Now I do think his style of play is not what the majority of fans would want from a Lb. That doesnt make him poor. As much as Poyer and Hyde get credit for Buffalo having unreal pass coverage consistency, Edmund is as important if not more. The best thing the defense has done is defend the pass. Above average coverage linebakers do not grow on trees. That is my concern.

Warren Sapp doesn't play 60% of snaps in Buffalo either. The talent Edmunds and Oliver possess are harder to replace imo than Poyer. Saftey is not a premier position. Imo, it comes down to what Poyer wants. If he takes a team friendly deal sure you can bring back everyone. If he wants top safety money than imo thats too much. Dont get me wrong I love Poyer and everything he does for the defense. At a point players start to decline. Teams that have had sustained success NE, Gb, Pit for example get off vetran players earlier than most. Buffalo is going to need to consider that model. Otherwise you look around and are expensive and old without much options.

Cant extend everybody. Imo Poyer would be easier replaced than Edmunds or Oliver.

Saftey. Imo probably Poyer. Makes more sense to give the 2 young guys extenstions. Oliver and Edmunds. Now I think both have to justify this year. I think Edmunds is closer to the Bills extending than Oliver is at this point.

Willis and Coral have arm talent. Those are likely the only Qbs going top 10 this year. Buffalo showed they prefer traits in rd 1. White, Allen, Edmunds, Oliver, Rouseau all have an elite trait. I expect the prospect they draft this year will aswell.

That is a lazer beam like Allens its likely a TD. The air under the ball allowed the extra time needed to make a play on the ball. It doesnt make any blanket statements about Jones success level. Simply, this time of year traits get downplayed by many looking at draft prospects. This video shows why things like arm strength can make a difference.

Every year I think Buffalo should take a day 3 olineman and db. This year maybe 2 olineman.

His arm were 2 inches longer he is unquestioned. With the connection to White I think he is in play. I used McCreary as an example because he has questions and maybe perceived as a reach. Give me the guy with Trex arms over Cam Lewis or Siran Neal at the end of the day.

Gotta say best way to get ready for the playoffs or season is the comeback. I also believe the perfect game will age like a fine wine.

I expect they have a plan. Obviously, a trade or an above minimum vet lessens the urgency for one. Perfect world they bring in a stop gap who can compete with Jackson and/or start for White until healthy. That allows Buffalo to let the draft fall how it may. I expect with Beane watching Wildgoose, and Anderson getting claimed he isnt as high on his late rders as he was going into last years draft. I see them being aggressive and depending how the next few weeks play out it will be clearer what positions they will be targeting.
