No. I think it comes down to allocation of resources. You can not have the most expensive off ball linebacker room. You either keep Milano or sign Edmunds and trade Milano.

The staples of the Daboll offense slowly eroded as the season went on. Maybe it was Allens arm. Maybe playcalling or both. The short and intimidate throws vanished beside Diggs stop routes outside.

I like Edmunds more than Milano. But in 2023 you can not have over 20mil in cap tied to off ball linebakers. They are the rbs of the defense. Figure something out with Poyer on a 2 year deal. Sign a middle of the road vet and draft a Mike. Use that money and bring in a starting NFL OT and OG. Draft a guard/center combo who can take over for Morse down the road. The Oline and weapons need to be the highest priority. More twitch on the edge further away 3rd priority.

I like Mcdermott alot. With him Buffalo wont suck. They will most likely win division titles. The ending of the last 2 seasons are very concerning. Last year Buffalo wasted Super Nova Allen. Now this season watching Cincy use the same game plan Miami used the week before with better execution without an answer from either side of the ball. Allen deserves better. Say we hire a new OC. The Bills were predictable. Cincy knew what Buffalo would do on defense and Offense. If im Terry I would have a conversation with Sean Payton. Does Tampa win with Dungy? I think they attack Cincys Oline. White and Elam will have to make some plays on the ball. Cincy uses quick passes and a handful of shot plays. Vs single high Burrow will throw it outside deep to Chase and Higgins.

I think organization stability and creating a positive culture would have made Buffalo a thorn in the side of Bradys Pats. The Bills have faced alot of adversity and expectations. Mcdermott was able to keep the team on track through it all.

Its tough to accurately determine what Mcdermott will do in each situation. Each situation requires an individual decision. Many are too aggressive or too conservative.

This opens a clear path for Brown on game days. In the Playoffs they have unlimited call ups. I expect Buffalo to have active 6 active Diggs, Davis, Mckenzie, Beasley, Brown and Shakir. Yesterday was Buffalos worst passing defense effort this season imo. Now they did make plays to offset what they gave up. I attribute the majority of the issues on limited preparation. The last week was a blur and a haze for the team. That was a game won on emotion and heart. They didnt really do any out scheming. Just a shorter drop here and alignment here or there and now they have big passing windows. I expect the defense to play more buttoned up moving forward.

Who? I think you need need to watch the games not just the stats. Allen has a full game less than Mahomes. At the same time Buffalo has one of the best running games in the league currently. Teams are terrified to bring up their safety because Allen will do what he did yesterday. In 3 drives had a 49 and 50 yard Td in back to back drives. On the 3rd had a 50 yarder dropped. Buffalo will have to beat great teams to win it all. Imo Kc doesnt provide Buffalo the same problems Miami does and what Kc use to. Allen throws 3 tds 2 over 40 air yards but its not 300. No kidding. Buffalo lost 2 possessions because Hines accounted for 199 in return yards on his 2 tds.
