  1. I'm watching everything I can on Rosen, I think he'll be the guy we take, I don't think we'll have a legit shot at the #1 QB in the draft, hopefully Rosens injury is healed up.
  2. There is no if, there is only who.... They are setting themselves up to package picks to move up in case by some miracle we knock ourselves out of a top spot, the only terrible thing will be if SF, CLE or another team without a franchise QB gets a few of those top spots and we can't move up because all the teams need a QB also.
  3. I believe the word "scheme fit" comes up often, as it should. This type of scheme which is quite different than what Jim Scwartz was running but I think this is a better fit for Jerry Hughes, Marcel Dareus and Shaq Lawson, that being said we still don't know what we have in MLB Reggie Ragland or if Lorenzo Alexander can live up to last years lofty expectations, this LB group is definitely a weak link but I expect us to be a better group collectively with coaches who will push the players and get the most out of them, that's the hope anyways.
  4. I don't think the winning will happen right away which will deter some already on the bubble fans, this is not a win now team but I feel we'll get our franchise QB next season and hopefully these draft picks we got contribute in a big way this year, The future looks bright though.
  5. I see no issue with Beane, the GM and HC are supposed to work together in unison. Find the best players and let the coach figure out what to do with them.
  6. If he wins he'll be put on a Marv Levy pedestal and if he loses he will be just another bum HC for us. He hasn't played a game yet, I like his approach so far but unless he wins games that all that really matters to me.
  7. He can help the younger guys along, if he's starting I'm assuming all hell has broken loose with injuries again.
  8. He drafted EJ Manuel, has said so in the debacle interview, that was his undoing. You draft a failure as QB and you won't last long in the league. All other picks are meaningless, if the GM selects a QB and he fails, that will be said GM's undoing or at least it should be in most cases.
  9. I think we got a real good #2 RB in the making with Williams, I think he's the future here once McCoy is done.
  10. Were not picking up his option because he's a bad football player, it's health related, so a 7th rounder is a good deal for Sammy at this point? I'd rather keep him and hope for the best. Were not tanking were just not commiting to a guy who might be broken and I see nothing wrong with that.
  11. If we would have stayed pat each round after the 1st round trade. 1st round. CB Tre'Davious White- LSU I'm not trying to be lame but it's fits a huge need and meets BPA, rarely happens. Had we stayed at 10 Marshon Lattimore would have been my pick. 2nd round. WLB Zach Cunningham- Vanderbilt He would have been an awesome WLB for us, I love the Zay Jones pick but LB is really important in Sean McDermotts scheme, Reggie Ragland is still unproven, were not sure if Alexander can repeat last years performance and brown's play is inconsistent to say the least. 3rd round. WR Chris Godwin- Penn State I liked Godwin alot in this draft, he and Josh Malone of Tennessee were my favorites. 3rd round. CB Cordrea Tankersley- Clemson I'm not sure why he lasted that long but he, teamed with White along with Darby/Seymour would have been stellar. 5th round. RT Will Holden- Vanderbilt I love the Dion Dawkins pick but I think there are 0 questions that Holden seems like a natural fit at RT where we don't know with Dawkins. 5th round. S Treston DeCoud- Oregon State Solid size, good instincts and a ball hawk for oregon st., solid depth if nothing else. 5th round. QB Nathan Peterman- Pittsburgh I wouldn't change a thing, Peterman is a solid choice. 6th round. TE Bucky Hodges- Virginia Tech I can't believe he lasted as long as he did, this guy is a matchup nightmare.
  12. They also have Colt Anderson and Trae Elston who they picked up on waivers at S As far as FA, the best ones left right now are Donte Whitner (haha), Jairus Byrd (hehe), Matt Elam, Baccari Rambo, Michael Griffin and Deshaun Goldson..
  13. Not much anyone can do other than not buy tickets next season, if you're not buying in don't buy tickets/merchandise or watch on TV, it's the only way to really voice your frustration, otherwise getting fired up about something totally out of our control seems pointless.
  14. I can see how it would look like dysfunction to the outside world and even some fans but Whaley has been around long enough, no playoffs and we can make a 1,000 excuses why, no winning and changes need to be made, the GM/HC should get 4 seasons.... 1 season to purge the old philosophy, 1 season to put your stamp on things and 2 seasons to try and make the playoffs and beyond.
  15. McDermott said in the draft interview there is a tolerance level that he is willing to work with as far as off the field trouble. You can never have enough character guys on the team. Once you get a room full of character you can then bring in the jar heads and hope you have enough positive reinforcement that he will buy in to what McDermott is doing.
  16. It's one thing to sit back as a fan and say oh this person or that person should be fired but coming in as an objective owner, dealing with personalities face to face, knowing the person in front of you and their wife and family is a whole different animal I'm sure, as a fan I can easily say fire Doug Whaley but as a person who would have to do it face to face it would be very difficult, even if it's a business, it would still be quite different imo.
  17. Yeah but that hasn't been confirmed has it? I've never heard that as being fact other than random people saying it.
  18. I'm glad Doug Whaley is gone, he had plenty of time to make us a playoff team, it wasn't very difficult to make us better after the dumpster fire team he was inherited, no playoffs in his tenure so it's time to move on, that said I hope this isn't McDermotts complete show and that all party's were informed upon or part of McDermott's hire.
  19. McDermott in the press conference on the buffalo Bills website said he will compete at RT.
  20. I'm not a Doug Whaley fan at all but if we fire him that says to me we just let our rookie HC, fire our GM and hire his own GM, that is way to much power for a guy who is coaching for the first time ever and another huge reason the Pegula's should hire a Coughlin-like guy.
  21. I was going to give a B but getting that pick next year , we now have the ammo to go get our franchise QB in a year where there is supposed to be some top notch QB's, I know every year we say this but as of now this looks like a decent class in 2018. I like the character guys McDermott is bringing in, Zay Jones looks like he can be a special player right out of the gate , same with White, even Dawkins looks like he has a decent shot to be the starting RT as his biggest obstacle is Mills, shouldn't be hard to beat him out. Big fan of Peterman, I think he will win the backup job by earning it and making Yates expendable, just my opinion and I loved this draft for us. I don't like that were spinning our wheels though (lost Gilmore/Woods and replace them with White/Jones) but it shouldn't over shadow how good we did though.
  22. WHo's treating him like Bill Parcell's? Very curious to hear.
