  1. Basically the only draft ever to not have any trades in the top 9. Made the safest call of all time and got caught lying.
  2. This is revisionist history. Not what happened. The anger was because folks thought McCarron was a good starter and shouldn't be traded because Josh Allen wasn't ready to play and the O-Line wasn't performing well in pre-season and early season.
  3. How are you guys feeling about the trade now? Seems like at the time, some of you were extremely angry about the trade. I recall seeing "fire Beane" all over the boards. Would you rather have the 5th round pick in this year's draft or AJ McCarron? (who did not re-sign with the team that traded for him)
  4. A trade up would be ridiculous. You can get an elite defensive player at 9. Period. Also, it's smoke season guys. Whatever a GM is saying means nothing.
  5. Josh Allen is tall. He can throw a football far. He looks great in shorts.
  6. Don't give him the satisfaction of getting your hopes up. It's an April Fools Joke. And I hate him.
  7. I'm fine with the team getting made fun of, for now. Finally feels like we might actually be turning this thing around and that will make gloating even more sweet. Anyone else keeping a list?
  8. Why would you be ashamed to continue to support a team through all the tough times? If anything, it shows character to continue to support the Bills.
  9. This is the #1 guy I want. Young, mean blocker, was second team all-pro before injury and plays at one of our biggest needs. Protect Josh ... sign this guy!
  10. Cool, so you think we're going to trade a young WR on a rookie contract when we need WR's worse than any other team in the NFL? And your justification for this is that we're going to trade / draft / sign a bunch of other guys at WR that will make him expendable... So ... RATHER THAN JUST KEEP THE GUY THAT YOU DRAFTED ... you think we can get BETTER VALUE from Free Agency, where NOBODY wants to come to Buffalo? Or, do you think that other teams are just willing to give up BETTER VALUE in draft picks to acquire him than what it would take to DRAFT A REPLACEMENT? If you don't believe either of these things to be true, why would you give up the value that we currently have in Zay Jones and DOWNGRADE VALUE? I hope you understand the flaws in your argument ... but if you don't ... I'm quitting this thread anyway.
  11. This thread is stupid. He has a $1.8M cap hit, he was drafted by this regime, he put together a few good games, and has two years left on his rookie deal. He's not getting cut.
  12. "Wow look at me, I'm eball, I'm making a dumb joke" That's a mock.
  13. ...was going to make a case for Lawyer Milloy but he's SS and I mistakenly called him Ty Law and also I'm dumb.
  14. Yesterday was another great example of why you don’t pay guys like LeVeon Bell and Shady McCoy ridiculous money. The two runners with unbelievably good games yesterday: CJ Anderson - cut from another team this season and consistent backup player. Damien Williams - cut from another team this year and consistent backup player. if your o-line can block, the running back is almost irrelevant.
  15. Saying a running back coach is great because his running backs do well is really stupid. If you want to thank any position coach for their run game success, you should probably look to O-Line coach ... or the fact that they have a good passing offense as well, which opens up the run game. There's a reason this guy got fired despite their running success.
  16. I’ve read all your posts in this thread and I don’t understand how someone can be so committed to hating everything our franchise does. You seem to have a problem with everything, no matter what it is. Fans around here seem to be happy with a lot of what’s going on. Maybe you should give it a try. Cheer up emo kid.
  17. Sounds really weird to say at 6-10 ... but this season was a success.
  18. If a loss is the difference between picking 1st overall or 13th overall you'd still root for a win? ... in our situation it's not quite that drastic, it's probably difference between 5th and 13th overall ... but I really don't understand the "never root against your team" crowd. Seems short sighted.
  19. We can all agree that priority #1 is Josh Allen progressing and having a nice game. Outside of that, I'm curious if you're all rooting for a win or a loss? With 13 teams that either have 4, 5, or 6 losses, Week 17 will be huge in determining draft position. If the Bills lose, they could potentially be drafting top 5. If they win, they'll almost definitely be drafting outside the top 10. However, wins are important for our franchise right now and it's always fun to squish the fish. What will you be rooting for on Sunday?
  20. For comparison, here's Peyton Manning's rookie stats: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MannPe00.htm He didn't have a team around him ... and he would be middle to bottom of every category on your list.
  21. Stats are nice and all, but I don't think it's fair to compare rookie QBs without accounting for the team surrounding them. Look at Jared Goff's stats before he had a supporting cast. Arguably worst statistics out of any rookie. Now look at Dak Prescott's rookie year when he had a great O-Line and run game. Arguably best statistics out of any rookie. I don't think there are a lot of people who would prefer Dak Prescott over Jared Goff now that the tables have turned.
  22. Here's a fun one. I just looked up the stats. The Bills haven't returned a kickoff or a punt for a TD since 2013. Crossman has been Special Teams coach for all of those years.
  23. How many years have we had this excuse from Crossman? We went out and signed guys SPECIFICALLY FOR SPECIAL TEAMS and he still stunk. No idea how this guy was held over from Rex's regime and still has a job.
  24. Great post. Now, if you're officially quitting the process, I suppose this means goodbye. So goodbye.
