  1. Klein might not be too bad if they find a way to use him like they did in 2020. He had some good moments then. Wasn't relied on for a ton of snaps but they found ways to maximize his strengths and got him in there on the right snaps.
  2. He is just fantastic, that's really what I think
  3. Son of a b! Frick! Goll-ee! Gosh durnit! Darn! I recently subscribed to the Kirk Cousins/Philip Rivers School of Vulgarity Alternatives. How am I doing? For real tho, bummer and a half. Milano being out changes the defense a lot. He's so versatile and instinctive and they trust him to handle a lot. And well.... Tyrel Dodson and Dorian Williams aren't those guys so... And I dunno if they have anyone that can quite do what Jones has been doing this season. It'll be interesting to see what they do to adjust. I'mma go kick rocks.
  4. I haven't seen anything yet. If it is a torn pec that's like a six month minimum recovery so that'd be the season for him. I base this off a couple of pro wrestlers who tore their pec recently. Cody Rhodes was out from like April 2022 to January 2023 (he actually finished his recovery ahead of schedule.) Another guy, Danhausen, tore his in March and only as of last week has it been stated that he'll be returning soon. Friggin bummer. Kinda felt like the Bengals playoff loss. I mean, Timmy Settle seems like a great team guy but when he has to go spell Daquan for an extended set of snaps the results aren't great. I dunno. They can mix it up at DT though. Groot can line up there, they'll get Poona rolling again I'm sure. I think Shaq could take some snaps there if needed. I'm thinking maybe they'll get creative in trying to replace him but who knows.
  5. It's a bummer for sure but try not to let it ruin your whole day ya know? I know we Bills fans are passionate and we want our team to mollywhop everyone but that's not always how it goes. It can be easy to forget how good we've had it since 2019 when you look back at some of the more dismal eras in Bills history. It's hard for me to complain about the team given how awesome they've been. Sucks to lose in the playoffs but, I dunno, people who have specific expectations for the team that go unmet and reacting to that by wanting to dismantle the team in all sorts of areas. Something about that feels entitled to me, I guess. I used to get pretty wrapped up in it. But sy a certain point the emotions shift. I still get into the games and feel the nerves and anxiety. But when a bummer game happens, I'm not longer pissed off for the rest of the day. I used to get loud and animated. None of that anymore. I dunno if it's like a big picture type of perspective but yeah, just taking it easy and accepting whatever happens makes the losses less poopy. Also one time I got so pissed I punched a hole in my brand new guitar case and 15 years later I still feel like an a-hole about it haha. It's nice to be able to relax and still enjoy the team.
  6. I think it's been made clear that he hates Bills fans and game plans specifically to anger them into nitpicking and overanalyzing every little thing about the team in the week following a loss. It doesn't take a real Schmucklock Holmes to piece this together. Y'all keep it up and I've heard Ken gonna be dealing out wholesale nard-kicks on youse.
  7. Frickin' injury bummers all over the league today. Aaron Donald went out, Kelce was out but went back in, Anthony Richardson messed up his shoulder. Matt Milano was ruthlessly attacked by Jack the Kneecapper and London is frickin' stupid! I'm sure I'm missing some others but yeah, it's lame. I don't think the loss was horrid or anything, circumstances and all that. Be interesting to see how the adjust with so many guys out now.
  8. Cripes. Another week's worth of these kinda threads.
  9. You think ya better than me?! Reminds me of the old Sandler SNL sketch.
  10. Ugh. What a friggin bummer. He's gotta be going thru it right now.
  11. Spiller has his best year in 2012. He was fun to watch that season. Too bad they pooped right in the boat for Chan's final hurrah.
  12. Even if the guy wasn't having serious issues right now I'd still say nah. Bills DL is already pretty well set. This post is real schmuckly.
  13. I was chatting with a buddy of mine about how Russ has gone downhill and literally the next play he launched that 60 yard dime. He had probably his best game as a Bronco.
  14. Pretty cool accolade for him. He's racked up quite a few already. I just kinda laugh at these sometimes, tho. Some of this stuff is so specific.
  15. They straight up dominated. Josh made good decisions all day, didn't force anything, didn't get reckless. Run defense was suffocating. Ed Oliver was in their face all day. Great game from him and the DL. Also, Matt Milano remains awesome. However, as many other fans so often do around here, I must express my deep concern and fear for Milano. Yeah, I think they might call da cops on him for robbing Jacobs. Great bounce back game. I don't look at that Jets game as the apocalypse like a lot of people around here did. That Jets defense is legit, they've given Josh trouble the last couple seasons. Legit defense plus some bad decisions equals a poop game. It's the exception in this case, not the rule. Stuff happens. Now they look like they got their shizz together. Go slap the stupid Commanders in their stupid commie faces.
  16. I was asleep when my mom ran in to wake me up. Turned on the TV. Thought it was a terrible accident at first. Then we saw the second plane hit live and that's when the day just got really strange.
  17. They'll fly out tomorrow afternoon for the game, ya? I wondered if they would travel same day since it's a 45 minute flight but that's probably not how they do it. Pretty sure I saw Jordan Phillips at the Target, that's why the travel question came up because I was like, "They fly out on Saturdays for away games, oh no, did they forget him?!" Then my brain reverted out of dummy mode and said oh right, they'll travel tomorrow.
  18. In other news, noted couch potato but also supreme football wizard blacklabel was quoted today as saying, "Yeah, I'm gonna watch the game and stuff my face with Cheetos. I hate Breece Hall." More at 11.
  19. Wyatt Teller is kind of a unicorn situation. He played DL thru high school and only switched to OL in like his junior year of college. He was still coming along and developing and learning the position. I guess they must've figured other guys on the roster were ahead of him. It's all hindsight now. Does he turn into an All Pro with the Bills or does Cleveland's scheme just suit him better? I dunno. I doubt Boogie goes off for some epic All Pro season. He's likely a depth guy no matter what team he's on. Can't wait for more posts like these during the season. Isaiah Hodgins makes a five yard catch: Beane is the worst! Boogie tackles a guy after a ten yard gain: Beane messed up! Waived draft pick Nick Broeker starts a game in Houston: it's Teller Part Two and Beane is still the worst!
  20. Shooooosh!! Shoosh please. A-thank yoouuu!
  21. Is the practice squad put together later today? Has to be after all the waivers clear, right?
  22. Morons. I went to the 2013 home opener and before the frickin' game even started some doofus in the row behind us thought another dude was looking at his snaggletoofed lady friend and started a fight over it. Spilled their beer everywhere. I'll never understand how it's supposed to be fun to get absolutely schnittfaced before 1p and then stumble your drunken behind into a stadium where you're passing out before the opening kick. Dummies.
  23. He looks like the real deal. I typically try to temper my expectations but that dude gets me psyched. I really get this feeling that he's gonna be like a top five at his position within a couple years. Aside from that, the penalties were pretty irritating. For as much as ol' McD preaches discipline and fundamentals his teams tend to get flagged a lot. I guess I'd like to assume that they went the "vanilla" route with things and didn't want to put any of their fancy schmancy stuff on tape. Penalties killed a decent drive and wiped out that 35 yard zinger to Gabe. Bah. Anywho, as a total professional foosball coach my advice to them would be: stop breakin' the rules, @**holes!
  24. I believe a wise man known as Yoda once said, "A poop I do not give."
