Changing the gameplan due to weather

Why do you hate to say it? It's the truth. We ask Josh to be heroic even though he historically struggles in wind and rain. We ask Josh to be 50% of our pathetic run game. The majority seem to be insistent on keeping that open stadium experience, and I get it. And building a dome will cost an extra 500M. But deep down I just feel if JA plays the next 10+ years in this constant wind, rain etc, the teams chances of winning a SB diminish. And I know I'm not alone on this. -
Patriots at Bills: Game Week Thread (v2)

"Watch them grow"....maybe Stevenson as a rookie but McKenzie is a 5 year veteran. He's well past time to grow. This battle will basically come down to who fumbles the least. -
Patriots at Bills: Game Week Thread (v2)

It will be a low scoring closely contested game. Neither team is winning by more than 3-4 points. If the Bills truly want this more, any ref interference shouldn't matter. Put 8-9 in the box and take away the run game. Pray Star, Brown and Feliciano can contribute. Josh take what they give you. -
Not at all shocking. They've been washing his balls for 2 weeks. He's officially annointed himself the next Brady with this arrogant MJ10 nonsense. Josh should be insulted. You think you're mad now, wait till Monday night when every flag goes against us.

Poll: Guess # of drive-extending flags Patsies will get?

Let's hope Sean has the stones the challenge the refs Monday for the inevitable calls that will help NE. Trust me it won't be just 1 or 2. -
All-22 Grades for Bills/Saints (The Athletic)

He's been covering it up for 2-3 years now. No doubt we're going to see a substantial overhaul of our OL/RB's this offseason. Long overdue. -
What the Bills need to do to beat the Pats...IMO

Unfortunately no matter how well we play, this game will be in the hands of the refs. Brace yourself now for multiple terrible calls that go against us. You can set your watch to it. -

I'm sure the NFL would love nothing more than a Pats v Tompa SB. It would get huge numbers. We'll get screwed on Monday. It's just a matter of how much. -

I'm guessing 4. Plus we'll have 3 penalties that McDermott decline's which helps no one. The refs will have a huge impact on this game. Guarantee it. -
I said before the season even started I wanted to see Breida start and get at least 50% of the touches. But I also knew because of the 3rd round investments they'd probably emphasize Singletary & Moss more. We need to keep Breida next season and decide which 3rd rounder gets released. They're both so equally mediocre it really doesn't matter to me. We'll need to draft another RB this spring.

Yes it will. I was hoping this kid would turn into "that guy". Already cocky, head inflated thinking he's the next TB12. This will be delicious.......
-
I agree. I hate losing Tre but I feel alot better about things than yesterday.
-
I understand this. 50% of the cost will come from taxpayers. I get it. But if I felt building a dome benefits Josh enough for him to lead this Lombardi-less franchise to a championship wouldn't you say it was worth every penny. And I totally understand the beauty of an outdoor game. It just seems like Orchard park has become the windiest NFL city every Sunday. And you can't deny it affects his play.

Too bad the Chiefs didn't sign Jake Fromm State Farm. Webb will do in the short term. Besides I have a feeling we'll sign Daniel Jones as a backup after the Giants dump him.
-
Yeah and they both had HOF qbs who thrived on throwing the ball. Peyton has said many times he was grateful to play indoors. Let's take snow completely out of the argument. Are the anti-domers purposely ignoring the documented fact that JA struggles in wind and rain. We seen this multiple times. Maybe they go cheap and say "screw it we're not spending the extra money on a retractable roof"? I just personally think it will come back to bite this team.
-
Tell that to the diehard "snowday"-ers who will never give up their open stadium experience. Even if it costs them a SB. Whatever, I'm tired of trying to convince those the value of a domed stadium for enhancing his skills. You'll get what you asked for.
