Is it worth seeing if Antonio Williams should get a shot?

This is an excellent draft sequence. -

Completely agree. Let Singletary be your semi serviceable RB1. Give Breida one more chance at redemption. If he screws up then he's done. Activate Williams immediately. I know our OL blocking is pathetic and there's few gaps if any at all. But we have to try everything. Moss is probably done. -
The '21 Bills are sleepwalking to the playoffs
LABILLBACKER replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
We started sleepwalking week 1. Let's not kid ourselves besides Watt, the Steelers are bad. Then we win 4 and go 4-1. Pundits start anointing us SB worthy. It gets in our heads during Instagram practices. Then the Jags game changed the narrative of the whole season. We are a talented yet non physical team underachieving. Our greatest weakness is the OL and teams are exploiting that. Our 2nd biggest weakness is our front 7 stopping run heavy teams. Trenches, trenches, trenches.....we've heard this a million times. Fix these 2 areas and hope the coaches stop making mistakes. We can't waste Josh like the Angels waste Trout..... -
If I were McD, knowing I might have the most dynamic qb in Bills history, I'd start building a 90's Dallas OL around him. Then all of a sudden a run game pops up. Then less pressure goes on Allen. If you want to return to 12-13 win seasons, this has to happen. After Brown and Dawkins, no one is safe.

Because when you hit a HR on a superstar qb, it can mask other deficiencies. Picking Josh was so over the top amazing that we tend to give Beane a pass on other semi-failed high picks. We knew wholeheartedly last season the OL was an issue, but JA's 13-3 heroics allowed McB to "run it back" with basically the same roster. Now I think they probably wish they had focused a little more on the OL. Not all their picks have been bad but I would say if you're dealing with 1-3 rounds since 2018, it's 50-50. -
Zach Cunningham released (Update : Claimed by the Titans)

I'd take a bag of rocks over Edmunds. -

Then he's the idiot we all were afraid he might be. I'd spend the first 3 picks on OL. Then maybe a fast RB falls in the 4th. Also consider FA for a better version of Breida. Cut Moss and use Singletary for one last year. They've hit HR's with qb & wr. Yet dribblers back to the mound on OL & RB. Maybe the scouts in charge of those positions just suck. -
Watch Diggs during the flight of that ball. It was moving all over the map. It was just dumb luck it landed on his forearm. The wind cost us 2 Diggs tds. If the weather is normal in Tampa we at least stand a chance.

How many days does it take you to process a Bills loss?
LABILLBACKER replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
3-4 days for Pats losses when we should beat them. 2-3 days for KC/Tenn losses. 24 hours for everyone else in regular season. -
He does need to tone it down some. The refs will get annoyed and tired of this act and it will become an issue. Ask Jerry how stuff like that ended up. Just play hard through the play and hope the refs do the fair thing.

I don't know if I want 49 on the field at all. Stick a safety on the TE if you have to. Teams will run right at Edmunds constantly until something is done. -
We've known this for 3 years. Problem is we keep picking crappy ones. Josh is literally a OL/RB away from be unstoppable.
-
Exactly, we have a garbage OL blocking for garbage RB's. Complete housecleaning.

Calling Devin our best back is like saying he's the most fragrant turd. All 3 are gone next year. -
We're not ready this year. We just don't have the offensive personnel. We'll lose to TB and NE. And we'll barely beat Atl, Car & the Jest. 10-7 will probably put us even with Indy and we'll be out on tiebreaker.

Their personnel / talent decisions have been bad dating back to Petermen. -
They should've been embarrassed way back to Jacksonville. On a side note Jerry Sullivan plays strat-o-matic.....what a tool.

Gameday Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread
LABILLBACKER replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you gave BB our entire team he would be devastating. Let's assume McDaniels as OC. He'd have the proper players doing their job. He'd trim the fat on underperforming guys. He doesn't put a square peg in a round hole like our stooges. -
Sorry but I'm far more disappointed for the fans then the players. These guys are making bank. We're showing up at airports and enemy stadiums in droves. I felt sorry for the 90's players. They just couldn't get over the hump for 4 years. Now we have a QB better than Jim. Yet are these players really motivated enough to outplay opponents like Tennessee, NE .....hell even Jacksonville? And are the coaches component enough to point them in the right direction? I feel much worse for the fans, especially old timers like myself.
