Do we see an end of QB Mega Deals?
LABILLBACKER replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wanna see an end of mega deals to whiny under producing qbs not worth what they're asking. -
Potential decision made for Championship Game location
LABILLBACKER replied to Ra-cha-cha's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't be surprised if the NFL Thursday season opener is us in Cincy. Kind of an easy prediction. -
Do the Kansas City Chiefs deserve a bye week ?
LABILLBACKER replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I absolutely hate the 7 team format. It should be 6 with 2 byes rewarded as it always was. Maybe the Chiefs will come out flat and rusty like the Titans last season. -
Don't look now, but Bills rounding into playoff shape.
LABILLBACKER replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with everything except the front 4 is definitely NOT generating pressure without Von. -

It's unfortunately going to take time to ween Josh off the hero ball/ gunslinger mentality. I'm not suggesting we take a large chunk of that out of his game. But he will have to mature and realize the overall value of taking wide open checkdowns for the good of the offense. -
I’m kind of Over the Hines Experiment
LABILLBACKER replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care if he carries the ball even once in the playoffs. But not occassionally calling a wheel route or slant is wasting his speed & talent. Dorsey just has to figure out how to use him? -
Yup, this will probably be McKenzie's last season and next year will be Gabe's goodbye. Josh deserves better wrs with more reliable hands. Diggs and Knox can't do it all.

Beane found us Josh so for that he kinda gets a lifetime pass. He's not going to hit on everyone but along with a WR2 and a couple olineman we'll have to go back to the drawing board on DE.

We're not getting squat from Epenesa or Basham. We're down to one decent pass rusher in Groot and one DT in Oliver. Every time we blitz Tremaine it's a wasted play. Thank God Shaq has played well, but we're going to have to activate arena football mode and outscore teams..

I hate Fraziers zone. Always have, always will. It only works if you get pressure on the qb, which we didn't today. Our front 4 especially the DT's were bad today. Blitzing lately has been ineffective. And if we can't generate pressure on the upcoming qbs, our DB's will suffer. Von was the missing piece to raise everyone else's game. Now McD & Frazier will be called upon to stop Tua, Burrow or Mahomes.

Hines has already accomplished more in 1 game the McKelvin did in an entire career. Bye bye McKittrick. -
At least Andy wasn't drawing mustaches on players.

The Bills played with a lot of love in their hearts today
LABILLBACKER replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
They badly need to get back to their weekly routine. Full week of practices. No emotional distractions. Hopefully the injuries to Phillips & Brown aren't serious. -
49ers nip Bills for best net point differential by a point
LABILLBACKER replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Point differential = Irrelevant Power rankings= Irrelevant DVOA= Irrelevant Actually hoisting a Lombardi =Relevant -
The writing was on the wall when the Bills acquired Smoke and Cole. Just a little message to Gabe to figure it out. After Diggs, no one is safe. It would not surprise me whatsoever if the Bills draft a wr in the 1st or 2nd.

A super bowl run: what needs to happen?
LABILLBACKER replied to NickelCity's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the thing that terrifies me the most is how pathetic our front 4 look without Von. Our DT's today looked awful. Mac had plenty of time on both short and deep passes. Little push up the middle or getting off blocks. And as we all know, if our pass rush struggles, so will our already depleted secondary. -

Yeah that td throw to Diggs today along with the late Arizona td are the 2 greatest throws I think Josh has ever thrown. -

Agree with everything. I'd add our pass rush is a real problem. Our 4 DT's got owned today. Josh cannot have anymore redzone int's here on out. Great trade for Hines. Keep getting better 3. -
Unfortunately I think we're seeing Gabe play himself right out of a 2nd contract. Between the ankle issues and drops he just can't be counted on. Just another validation as to why we need to draft wr along with OL.
