AJ Epenesa Is really playing well
LABILLBACKER replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he can give ya 6-7 sacks rotationally in years 4 & 5 then sure sign him on a team friendly deal. But that brings up another issue with our defense....this whole rotation issue. I'd just like to identify my best front 4 and play them more. I feel like our Dline is 3 different hockey lines. -
Yup.....Kyle, Fred and Eric Moulds are my 3 favorite players of the drought era.

AJ Epenesa Is really playing well
LABILLBACKER replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely not. He was originally drafted in the 2nd round to be a starter. His mediocre play slid him behind Groot. Then we signed Von. These were all moves done because AJ didn't pan out. -

6.5 sacks in a 17 game season screams Chris Kelsay. I like AJ but let's not kid ourselves, he doesn't have an elite pass rushing move. As others have accurately stated, he let's the tackle take him deep beyond a qb "stepping up" every time. Never see a spin move inside or bull rush. I'm afraid 6-7 sacks is kind of his ceiling. -
Kinda disappointed in the way Settle has played all year. Having Bease and Smoke available is huge, even if it's just a handful of targets. Bryant hopefully can fill in for JP.

It's really sad that this discussion has to be a "camp". The vast majority of Bills fans like myself have been screaming for over 3 years to drastically upgrade our "bargain basement" OL. We saw Quessenberry almost end Josh's season. Saffold and Spencer have also struggled. Josh has had to escape the pocket early just as much this season as any other. It needs to start with 2-3 OL replacements and a legit Wr2. McB has been given more than enough chances to find a pass rusher.

Nyheim Hines named AFC ST Player of the Week
LABILLBACKER replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think it's safe to say we'll be keeping Hines and wishing McKenzie the best. -
Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
LABILLBACKER replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just hope we get a big enough lead to pull and rest starters. I guess we get a bye after all. -
Steelers radio debates signing Tremaine Edmunds
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're not spending a dime over 14-15M for Edmunds. I don't care if it's an extension or tag. We have way too many issues on the OL and WR to have the luxury of keeping 49. Yes he's played well this season but his time in Buffalo is numbered. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
LABILLBACKER replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs signing off on this would be necessary. We don't want an ego battle. Once this deal is done maybe we can coax JJ out of retirement for a 2 year deal to pair on the other side with Von. Rotate Groot as the 3rd DE. Then draft OL heavy. Guys come out of retirement all the time? -
Blue on Blue for Miami Wild Card Weekend
LABILLBACKER replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Positive vibe....good mojo with the all blues....keep it going boys. -
Don't laugh....it took GB forever to finally find Aaron help. McDermott is so obsessed with his specialty he's lost all objectivity regarding surrounding your superstar with OL/ WR help....he'll probably draft another CB or DE before realizing Josh is going to get hurt by players like Saffold, Quessenberry etc.

Panthers request to interview Dorsey for HC
LABILLBACKER replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're 13-3 because of Josh, not any amazing innovative decisions by Dorsey. Way, way too early. Desperation breeds poor decisions. -
[Name Only Title] Nyheim Hines

I think I pulled a hamstring just watching him on that treadmill Hines 4.38 Cook & McK 4.42 -
[Name Only Title] Nyheim Hines
LABILLBACKER replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love how so many fans think Dorsey has this secret playbook he's yet to unvail. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Hines do screens, wheel routes or slants. But there won't be any new wrinkles. Maybe next year when McKenzie is gone they'll find offensive plays for Nyheim. But for now we'll just have to be content having a stud reliable return guy. -
Dolphins fans opinions on what we have to say about them 🤔
LABILLBACKER replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Dolphins should be scared if Tua plays. Concussion #4 in one season might just end his career. If the NFL just parades him back out there and he goes down again, someone's getting sued. -
Chargers - Mike Williams and Joey Bosa hurt in meaningless game
LABILLBACKER replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Staley is fired coach walking. Unless he wins it all he's going to get replaced by Payton. Herbert would be the best available qb left out of the job openings.
