He put up decent numbers his last 2 years at SMU. His NFL draft overview has concerns with size (6-0), arm strength and pocket awareness. We needed to go into camp with options better than Barkley & KAllen.

Completely agree....he was never a thumper or heat seeking missile. And over the years they also realized he rarely generated turnovers, sacks, TFL's or deflections. He did what he was told and backpedaled into the zone securing the middle. I just don't see the Bills in the future investing anymore on an MLB as you see with RB's. It's becoming a less important cog in your avg NFL defense.

I just want this organization to emphasize the OL more. Is that so much to ask? Other than 2020, the last 5 years our OL has been ranked either 21st, 22nd, 23rd. We settle for mediocrity there because of Josh's ridiculous athleticism. Torrence looks very good but out OT's will become an issue.

If players like Floyd, Harty, Sherfield and Kincaid step up we'll be fine. Probably somewhere around 11-12 wins and afce Champs.

From the look of most of these responses, there's nothing but scraps left. So can someone please assure me Josh won't get injured this season, buying us time to draft a real backup.

I agree. Defensively in the playoffs we just haven't gotten that key sack or int in crunch time. Other than Taron's pic6 it's been basically crickets playoff time.

Bills OL rankings since 2019 2019- 21 2020- 10 2021- 21 2022- 23 2023- 22 ....other than 2020 when Williams was ranked high, this unit has basically stayed in the same tier. That's not a coincidence.

People forget Q is the one that got easily beat and caused Josh's ulner injury. He will not be missed. Hopefully his replacement comes in a few hours.

Basham was too small to be a DT and too slow to be a pass rusher. It was just a good ole fashioned bad pick. Kinda like Elam.

His 2nd and 3rd round picks have been bad. Eventually the good will from the JA pick has got to wear off. Right?

Last season he he put up very good numbers: Games- 17 Tackles- 124 Sacks - 3 Int's- 2 TFL- 7 AV- 9 Now whether he's a fit next to Milano is unknown. He's coming off a hamstring injury.

I'm hoping I'm wrong. Maybe one of them shines enough to stay on this roster. I don't take much from preseason games any more than how I hit the ball on the driving range. We'll see tomorrow?

You're right, the Hamlin event was rare and unprecedented. You must cancel that immediately. I realize our insatiable lust for football but in the other 2 games I'm leaning towards decency & humanity.

Our 3 biggest needs are OT depth, MLB and backup QB in that order. If Elam drops down to CB4 I can live with that as long as they keep developing his zone mechanics. No clue who gets traded but I wouldn't lose sleep seeing AJE or Boogie gone.

We have to immediately find an upgrade over Allen & Barkley. I'll trade a 6th for Keenum at this point. Obviously we're all hoping nothing happens to Josh but if he went down early we're screwed.

This will definitely be Gabe's last season in Buffalo. He is just way too inconsistent and the drops never end. Sherfield deserves to take a portion of Gabe's targets. Please let Neal play ahead of Lewis in pretty much every capacity. Harris will be our goal line TD maker. If the braintrust thinks Benford is the CB2 then full steam ahead. I still can't understand the Elam pick if your scheme is zone. Makes zero sense. The Basham / Epenesa picks were bad and hopefully we can still salvage something with a trade.

Kyle Allen is not a question mark. He's abysmal. Not enough to even sneak on the PS. He's done
