Is this like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon?

In November our 3 RB's combined for 19 /49. That's not going to cut it. I'm hoping we throw a ton to Knox/Kincaid but we must double that RB rushing output. Continue with the " ltake what the D gives you" philosophy. But also be willing to take a couple shots deep to Cooper/ Coleman. Then force that 1 critical takeaway late.

How aggressive do you want McDermott to be on Sunday?

Yup, Josh rolling to the right gives you multiple options. Or a fake qb draw, then jump pass to a TE. -

Bass has missed the most xpts this season. And giving the refs an entire OT to screw us doesn't appeal to me. -

First, as well as Bass has looked these last 2 playoff games, he's missed the most xpts (5) in the NFL. So you gotta factor that in. One play from the 2 yard line with the ball in Josh's hands sounds (win or lose) pretty good to me. No guts, no glory! -
I know Micah has slowed but his instincts as a FS are still there. I guess we brought him in as a glorified coach to mentor Bishop. Cole is more of a hybrid "close to the LOS" SS. Pat will attack him downfield. Hope for the best?

I agree it will be epic. It just frustrates me a little that Sean was wise enough to call up Hyde in the fall in case of an emergency. And now that we have one, he's reluctant to allow Micah (34) to put on the pads. He knows what to do and God knows he's gotta be fresh? Jackson is damn near 37? This scenario played out perfect except for the part where Sean apparently was never going to allow Micah to play???

Hamlin is just not the CenterField ball hawk that Hyde was. He can give you an occasional Pic on an overthrow, but he's not jumping routes. Now we're going to ask Damar to babysit Bishop in the biggest game of the year? And who backs up Hamlin if he gets hurt?

You're right, it clicked on post season stats. My bad.

Stroud is part of Stroud's backslide.

If Brady goes, he's the first phone call I'm making.

We've waited for over a year for Matt Milano to return to AP form. Last week I started to see those signs. 58 will make a play that turns the game.

Would the Bills get a million people in the parade if they won?
LABILLBACKER replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
They'd definitely get 990,000 more than the Rams got along Figueroa. -
....yup... zone+ scramble = wide open TayTay boyfriend.

This ridiculous narrative that Kelce is slowing down is nonsense. He has and always will be Pat's security blanket. And yes he sits down in the middle of the field (zone) and is usually open. Stick Bernard on him and keep Milano as Pat's spy/blitzer. And finally yes it's a forgone conclusion that the Chefs will get 2-3 "love calls".....

Absolutely not...we need Von and that contract gone. We need young pass rushers to develop. I doubt we're extending AJ after next season so we desperately need a good pass rusher to pair with Groot.

Here we go again Huge new fire North of Valencia/Castaic in the Lake Hughes area. Over 20,000 people being evacuated. 30 mph winds and in 3 hours this fire has already burned well over 5000 acres. 🙏

I don't mind taking what the defense gives you but only to a point. Our 3rd quarter against the Ravens was a disaster. It almost cost us the game. It was identical to the conservative 3rd quarter against Houston in 2019. Don't be afraid to throw on 1st down and run on 2nd down. Reduce the plays behind the LOS like that terrible checkdown TE screen. The Ravens were 31st in pass defense and we didn't attack them enough downfield.

McDermott has mellowed and it shows in the passion these guys play with. With each passing game and especially the adjustments he made in preparation for Baltimore, was absolutely brilliant. He knows he doesn't have a top 10 defense yet he stresses the value of takeaways. And this team is #1 in defensive takeaways. I'll bend all day long if I know it's going to result in a turnover. I've done nothing but criticize Sean since the 2019 Houston game. But this is the season he's really impressed me. He's brought this team together as a band of brothers.

Josh is going to get one and so is Lamar.

I’m very happy with how far we made it.

2 of the greatest prayers ever written are the Serenity Prayer and the Prayer of St. Francis. They both have beautiful yet common themes. And before our game with KC, I will be mindful of these amazing words. -

There's an old Bhuddist practice called "Radical Acceptance". Radical acceptance can be defined as the ability to accept situations that are outside of your control without judging them, which reduces the pain & suffering they cause. By accepting things for what they are, you can acknowledge your emotions without denying, avoiding, or ignoring the situation. It can be an effective way to process your emotions and manage difficult experiences. For 55+ years I've allowed myself to experience the stress and heartbreak of being a Bills fan. This is a situation outside of my control. We've created this psychological fail safe to protect us when the disappointment comes. To be at peace with either outcome seems to be a popular feeling among most Bills fans. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Of course we want our team to win it all. To slay the dragon and beat KC. To hoist that Lombardi high for themselves and the dedicated fans who have invested their souls into this team. Maybe fans like @Augie and @BringBackFergy were right all along. Enjoy the ride and embrace the entertainment that this team brings to our lives. This is not a cop out, nor are you settling for just regular season accomplishments. But don't let the outcome destroy our lives thru stress & anxiety. it's not worth it. Life is too short. Praise the Bills for a spectacular season and celebrate them when they bring a championship to the greatest fans in the world.
