That would be a nice mix of young and veteran pass rushers. Clowney is only 1 year removed (2023) of putting up a Leonard Floyd type season. 9.5 sacks, 9 TFL's and 19 qb hits. The key is dumping Ep.

Elijah Moore is very easily capable of becoming exactly what John Brown was for Josh. Both are around 5-10 and both ran a 4.34 40. I just don't want to see us bring back retreads like Davis, Diggs, Cooper. They had their chance and it's time for fresh faces and motivation.

We were so bad last year in ST's that we fired the coach. We're not good enough in ST's to justify keeping mediocre players just because they know the system. Players like Lewis and Hamlin have been around too long. I'm all for depth but not mediocre depth.

Agree....the Jackson & Walker picks had great value attached, considering both players were expected to be drafted 1 round earlier. And Sanders looks both versatile and having some pass rush abilities. We need Hairston, Sanders, Jackson & Walker to step up. Not sure what we have in Carter & Soloman? I'm optimistic.....

Do we have a top 10 wr room now....no. But the addition of Moore adds a John Brown element to our team. Palmer obviously replaces Cooper as a younger and slightly "better ability to separate" version of Gabe Davis. And Shakir is younger and quicker than Beasley. Samuel can assume the McKenzie role. I think the 2 wild cards and somewhat unknowns would be Coleman & Kincaid. They will either thrive or at least improve on 2024 or maybe not? If these 2 do really step up their game, then everyone will truly "eat" at the Allen buffet.

I agree wholeheartedly. It wouldn't have been a simple or easy trade up. The Hill chart shows Jacksonville's pick worth 296. Our pick was worth 216 and the 2nd round Cole Bishop pick at 88. That puts the trade at 304. Then maybe Brandon sweetens the deal with a 2025 4th round pick. I wasn't overly impressed with Coleman or Bishop last year but it's just one season. Hopefully they both take huge positive strides this year. But I can't help but visualize Josh with BTJ for 8 years. Be bold, be aggressive, take chances. They did it with Josh and it paid off with a lottery jackpot.

I've said this constantly over the last 2 years. Once we knew Stefon had reactivated diva mode, we should've been "uber" aggressive to find his replacement. I thought BTJ was attainable. And even DKM could've been considered more? If Keon doesn't pan out, this wr room will have to be enhanced by Josh's greatness. I love that this draft was heavy D. But there better be a moment real soon when Beane targets that speed WR1 that 17 deserves.

He's going to have greater opportunities with Josh and our offense to showcase his talents. The Browns qb room is ugh.
