  1. I've been saying this for 2 years. We keep wasting 3M every year on a veteran qb who's never seeing the field. Just find a decent "development" qb that only costs you the minimum.
  2. Completely agree. I don't need 4.21 speed if his route running is weak. We need separation and clean routes. Players like Thomas, Mitchell, McConkey have these traits with plus speed.
  3. I've seen every one of Latu's games. He's good but not spectacular. He's built more like a 3-4 OLB. I still want WR @ 28 or a small trade up for Thomas. I could also live with Chop at 28. But I'm not giving up an extra 3rd for Latu.
  4. Well I hope some team is dumb enough to give Gabe 15-20. We need that additional 3rd.
  5. He's not so loveable when he's adding bulletin board material.
  6. I think he set the record today for the most start and stop weeping in a retirement announcement.
  7. I for one hate it. Josh usually starts off slow and facing the Jets D week 1 is getting old with me. Hopefully they'll have Rodgers face someone else.
  8. I agree....I'm optimistic we'll add a 1st round quality wr and another later in the draft. I think we'll draft a late round RB (Gore) to supplement Cook & Johnson. I am concerned about the DL & S. That's where we'll need to make better decisions in FA. I say slightly better but minimizing injuries will dictate the success of this season.
  9. We saw enough of these 2 on the field together to feel extremely optimistic about the next couple seasons. I still think Dorian will develop into a plus LB to spell Milano/Bernard.
  10. Just goes to show you nobody knows squat about anything. It's all speculation. The only constant is Josh Allen.
  11. Other than Josh, nobody has stepped up in the playoffs.
  12. Exactly...Milano is our best defensive player who is probably underpaid. At the very least we keep him these next 2 seasons and pray for no injuries.
  13. Let's not make the same mistake we made on Sammy. Thomas is the only guy I'd trade up 3-4 spots to get.
  14. At this point KC's getting a very good wr no matter what. And there's nothing we can do about it. But what we can do is make absolute sure our target wr (Thomas, Mitchell, McConkey) fits our system and expectations. And I'd even consider landing another wr in the 2nd if the value is there.
  15. I'm willing to trade up a couple spots to get Thomas or Mitchell. Those 2 will be good NFL caliber wrs. I'm also convinced once wrs start coming off the board, the run on wrs will begin. There's just too much talent. I'm a little skeptical of Worthy not running drills but I think a team between 11-20 will grab him to begin the full run. Legette or McConkey would be acceptable at 28 if we don't move up.
  16. They're all going to be gone by the 3rd round. After watching today, we won't have the luxury to wait till the 4th round to get our 2nd wr.
  17. You can't ignore the ridiculous quality and quantity of wrs this draft. If it's me, I'm drafting wr at 28 & 60. I'm telling Sean he's going to have to make do with rounds 3, 4, 5 for defense. Hopefully the 1st round wr replaces Gabe immediately and can transition to WR1. And the 2nd round guy can assume the WR2 role. Whatever cap $ we have to spend, use it on defense.
  18. It's very doable. WR, DT, S, WR....
  19. Worthy official time now 4.21 Fastest man in the history of the combine.
  20. Yeah we may not see a wr draft like this for awhile. Strike 2x in the first 4 rounds. Ta hell with the defense.
  21. Worthy just joined the 1st round. 4.25
  22. Clearly your not a Milton fan and I'm not in the mood to spar so I'll leave it at that.
