The front 4 or lack thereof has been the #1 problem during the Allen era. And to this day they still haven't addressed it. Failed FA acquisitions, Failed draft picks.

Totally agree...I'd even argue Groot isn't worth 18M based on his 4 years of production. He was terrible in that last KC game. I don't think he gets extended unless he blows up with 11-12 sacks this year. He'll go exactly like Edmunds.

If we wouldn't know what to do with Metcalf than maybe we just flat out struggle to strategize any wr. I'm not a fan of 5 mediocre wrs all eating. We don't stretch the field. We don't attack the middle with 12 personnel. I'm still convinced we need a fast wr1.

So true, our talent level rarely justifies franchising anyone. And extensions to players like Knox, Epenesa and Bass were hardly comparable to their projected production.

Completely agree...super disappointed in the way he played against KC. I didn't hear about any injury like Kincaid had. I like Greg but I'm hardly in love with the idea of over-paying him 20M. I'd treat him the same as Gabe & Tremaine. We desperately need elite, not good or serviceable. Too many times I've watched qbs pressured or hit still complete td passes. I'm waiving goodbye to Groot unless he has a double digit sack year.
