Gameday Eve Question: What Should McD Be Emphasizing To Josh?

Dorian's 4.49 beats Matt's 4.66, so I guess you factor in experience and angles. I have a wierd feeling we will rotate spy's by some scheme signaling.
-
That would exactly be my gameplan. Stop Henry 1st then spy Milano on Lamar. Clog the middle of the field and force 8 to throw at the boundaries. If he beats us that way, then tip your hat.
-
If the league wants to annoint Lamar every year let them bathe in their obvious fawning. We'll see how good Lamar really is when Henry ages out.

I've absolutely hated this "1 seed only" bye week. And on top of this, lately media have said how un- competitive the 7 seeds have been over the years. It's time to go back to 6 playoff teams.
-
I guess I'm a little naive and looking at things one dimensionally. We completely agree on AJE's flaws. And I definitely appreciate Khalil's run setting capabilities. I'm just tired of settling for 5-8 sack per year guys. I just think Koonce is ready to bust out beyond his 2023 numbers. I'd prefer trading for Myles but he's costing an arm and several legs. Groot can't do it alone, as Von and Epenesa's days are numbered. Maybe Sawyer can be had in the 2nd?
-
Maybe it's time to get some slightly larger linebackers?
-
Koonce is substantially younger and more project-able as a 8-10 sacks/ year guy. We would have to probably outbid the Raiders & NE. Mack is basically an older version of AJE who might give you 5-6 sacks? After 2023, Malcolm's ceiling looks pretty high. Von will likely be gone this offseason and AJ the next offseason. The other available 2025 pass rushers like Reddick, Young, Sweat, Mack, Browning just don’t scream sleeper FA acquisition. Odeyingbo maybe?? Koonce just stands out as a great value compliment to Rousseau.

Malcolm Koonce (26) Raiders UFA Coming off injury He would be my #1 target and we would not have to pay crazy cap $.

Comparing this game to Bengals playoff game
LABILLBACKER replied to Ga boy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bad comparison...first that entire season was littered with chaos & tragedy. The team was mentally and physically exhausted. This season has been more of a transformation beyond veterans leaving the team. We've managed to find a way to win without a slew of pro bowlers. On week 4 we were missing Milano, Bernard, Taron. We lost Rapp & Shakir early in the game. These 5 players along with Cooper, Phillips & Jefferson should also contribute, as they were missing too. That's a substantial amount of additional reinforcements. I think if the gameplan is to stop 22 early, our chances of winning go up drastically. This won't be Cincy.... -
If it pumps up the fans & players than full steam ahead. Hell, I'd play "Baby Shark" if I felt it would guarantee us a championship.

All I care about is low winds. And that goes for LA too.

I guarantee you they won't. I've already had 3 family members in this area have their insurance companies drop them. There will be a mass exodus of insurance companies in California. Somehow the federal government will have to get involved.

Josh listens to Sinatra before every game. Of course he's getting the older voters.

The highest paid OC's are Monken & Kafka @ 3M. Pay Brady 4M and tell him you're not going to get a better qb than Josh.

Updated numbers: 12000 structures either burned or destroyed. 29 people so far have lost their lives. Over 40,000 acres burned. The Palisades fire is about 14% contained and thankfully burning in less residential area. Same for Eaton fire, 33% contained and moving away from Altadena. Donations are flowing in as the national response has been wonderful. Some winds expected tonight through Wednesday. Thanks go out to everyone giving thoughts & prayers. 🙏 LAFD & First Responders LAStrong Go Bills!

Another disaster by McDs defense in the playoffs
LABILLBACKER replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nix did play well. In fact if you add the 5 drops to his qb rating as completions, he would've had a 123.48. It didn't hurt too that we kept his offense and our defense off the field for 42 minutes.
