Agreed. For trades though they should look at a DT or pass rusher. The DT especially, I have felt Star does what he should but you can’t ignore getting crushed up the middle all day.

Oliver made some plays today and got pretty good penetration, but like all our D linemen was overwhelmed by their O line. Edmunds got swallowed up by blockers as well. They were just a whole lot better up front.

Some of the play calls were questionable. But since football was invented you win if your guys up front beat their guys up front. The Eagles won up front, by a mile.

Yeah, people said the same thing going into this season about how tough the schedule would be. Enough.

People around here are clueless and childish. Not all but some. Especially those who only show up after a loss.

Your takes on Mariota and Winston were very good, as was your thoughts on Kaepernick and Taylor. But do your really think anyone on this site thinks Allen can do no wrong? Come on now. I think Allen comes out a bit too psyched up in the beginning of games and I t affects his play early. Something he needs to work on; if I were Daboll I'd go back to the Bill Walsh playbook and script the first 15 plays or so. If it was good enough for Montana it should be good enough for Allen. But you also cannot take away the guts and moxie the kid has shown in some of these fourth quarter efforts. That is a real positive.

If I thought he could stay away from the weed, and actually make it through a season without getting suspended, I'd consider it. But history indicates he can't so I'd look elsewhere.

My high school golf coach always talked about “If I’da’s”. If I’d a done this or that. And that it meant squat. Same with football. Bills are 5-1. They could be 6-0 or 0-6 if they’d a done this or that. But they didn’t.

Show choir and theater dad for years now. Could be worse, could be a marching band dad. The amount of volunteer work done for that is insane.

This is why I never get all up in arms like so many do when the schedule is announced. First, it's not like yoo can change it. Second, every year some teams thought to be good implode and vice versa. How many folks around here were bemoaning the difficulty of our schedule before the season, especially the back half?

My way of saying what the article says is that young QBs have to get the game to slow down. And it won't happen until they have to make decisions.

Needs to put a little more air under the ball on the deep throws. His current WRs aren't as fast as Foster was last year.
