Devin Singletary, welcome to RB1 of the Buffalo Bills

I think Gore starts -
Yes, yes, and yes.

I have no problem with dissent. The mods police things and they do a good job; they are good at spotting people that are here just to stir up trouble. I had no problem with the OP raising the question about whether a team ever made it to the playoffs after such turnover. To me they had to upgrade regardless . What I do have a problem with is your taking the OPs question and going off on a rant about the board not being democratic and shutting people down and so on. Because that is simply wrong. As shown here; the mods are letting you have your say. -

I challenge people. The team had a bad offensive line last year. Bad. Really really bad. They have invested a ton to upgrade and based on preseason it is to me and many others unarguable that they have in fact significantly upgraded. No team has proven anything, so why should that be unique to the Bills? And why is challenging someone undemocratic? -

0-0. Like every other team in the league. Why? -
I hope Murphy clears waivers and gets put in the practice squad. Same with Duke. Tough to see some good players go like Pitts and Eddie Y. They’ll play somewhere week one.

Your claiming the site is undemocratic is simply wrong. And the way you make a team better is to replace poorly performing players with better ones. I don’t think any reasonable comparison of, say, a Ford or Long at RG to Ducasse would say they would have been better staying put. Or Gore vs. Ivory as another example. This is a message board. We debate things. You make a statement and others challenge it. I’m sorry that apparently causes you pain. -

The drivel is your claim that the site is undemocratic because you don’t get to post things without people challenging you. That truly is drivel; people challenge stuff I and others post all the time and no one claims there is some assault on democracy. Your other stuff on pie in the sky and that somehow having one lousy player from last year is better than two upgrades? That’s just silly. -

The crap is about democracy and being able to post. You’re doing so, no one is stopping you. But if you want to post drivel people are going to challenge it. Of course this team hasn’t proven anything for this season. No team has yet. I still find it amusing that a HOF guy in Gore is to you pie in the sky. As with the other items I mentioned. -
Ok. Let’s do this again since you refused to get it last time. The first two preseason games they worked on the pass game. I know, you conveniently forget Allen going 9/11 the second game because it would belie your take, but ignore that for a moment. The third game they focused on the run game and getting Shady and Gore time. And apparently between Gore doing OK and Singletary they made the tough decision to split from Shady. They have 4 new TEs and 2 new WRs, a revamped O line, but you and apparently ESPN ignores that. Let’s see what happens.

So one Ducasse is worth Long and Feliciano? One Benjamin is worth Beasley and Brown? One Clay is worth the two rookie TEs? This is your stance? Seriously? -
Virtually whole new starting offense

By my count they brought in a minimum of nine O linemen to upgrade the O line and 4 TEs. Plus the Gore/Beasley/Morse groupyou mention. Rather than the stuff about democracy and that crap, perhaps you could explain why adding a veteran back going to the HOF, a veteran slot WR to give the young QB a short reliable target, and a quality C to anchor the new line is pie in the sky? -
Lack of talent on offense is worrying. Good luck Allen

To say the Oline is not better is just silly -
Brandon Beane to meet with media via conf call at noon

Bill Walsh used to say it’s better to release someone a year too early vs. a year too late. Still shocking though. -
Yeah. Gore is JAG.

Bills Players Kneeling in End Zone

It is that kind of language I would like to have disappear. Glad you did that -
He's on the leadership council. He is an excellent blocker and good contributor on special teams. He stays.

Fitzpatrick officially named starter in Miami

I agree there is a ways to go. We'll see. Right now though it would seem Rosen may not have been the best pick. I wonder if it's his attitude or something more on the physical side. -

Rosen is 0 for 2 now as far as franchises. -

I wanted Watson the year before the Rosen/Allen draft, and I'm not sure he'll be as good as I thought now. And I really wanted Rosen over Allen. Good thing I'm not an NFL GM. Good thing most of us aren't. -
But they will move on to other forms of work and work for 50 years. I feel for the guys getting cut because for most it is the end of a dream. That has to be tough. But let's not go overboard and suggest they can't go on to productive lives in other ways.
