  1. Love this team and staff... But this was the worst day of coaching that McDermott has had since being hired. Just a really terrible plan and settling for fg's against that KC squad is just so pansy. The first fg- ok get some points.... Still a bad decision but why compound the problem doing it 47 more times? Just objectively stupid.
  2. I could not disagree more. We have no running game and the "two backs on rookie deals" are not explosive or even good. Being on rookie deals is not enough to stay on the 53. Lack of run production is why we were limited in the playoffs. Playmakers, playmakers, playmakers. We need 'em to keep up with the Mahomes'
  3. What the ***** is going on with settling for fg's!? Have to play to win against this team. The defense is not going to shut down kc the rest of this game.
  4. That's the first thing I thought. The league did this because they think TB will be in the Super Bowl and they want to give an advantage to him. They already wrote the 30 for 30, and all the hype of tom teriffic sailing off into the sunset with rings from multiple teams. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. But long story short.... Who cares. It's been a fight to get here, and the fight's not over yet! 2 more games to glory.
  5. Ok.... Who's Jimmy Spags normal account? I have to know!
  6. I wouldn't call your take "being the contrarian". Seems to me everyone is saying the offense needs to get back to regular season form to win this game. This isn't a Colts team who snuck in or Baltimore with a limited passer. I think for Davis and Beasley, they are banged up a bit. To your point of "playing like they were behind" I understand your point. I feel like that was the game plan though. Be incredibly aggressive with the offense, because the Ravens aren't built to play from behind. The plan was (imo) to try and pile up points early (like most of our games this year) and win the game before the 4th quarter even starts. The reason it looked bad is that it didn't work. The wind and a slightly off day for Josh blew our plan out of the water... The the defense was good enough to save the game, and that's just about time because the offense has been bailing out the defense for the better part of the year. Now, as for KC I believe they will pull out all the stops. This is the game they were waiting for, the rematch with the defending Champs. I think it's going to be like the first Pats* game where they play like they have nothing to lose. I'm expecting some option plays, alot more mckenzie/knox motion, play action, and qb draws. We might even see a fake punt, fg, or surprise onside. Jmo
  7. No... But it's not going anywhere, so... Never really understood the glorification of the italian mafia, being proud to be a POS- but whatever. It's not entirely unfitting, we will not be gracious winners and we weren't gracious losers either.
  8. I have to think a playmaker at RB is on the to-do list this off-season. So happy to hear Daboll likely won't leave. We need continuity right now.
  9. Well, it has to be black or team colors I believe. Very few teams that don't include white, red, blue, or black. Couldn't hurt, right?
  10. QBR was created to make game manager QBs seem as good as pocket passers. Kind of crazy people still take it (semi)seriously. The beauty of what you just put together is that there is no reasonable argument against your point. At least not that I can come up with...
  11. I don't think that lowly of Daboll. He wants to win tonight, next Sunday, and Sunday two weeks later. Promise you that. Plus, he'll get his shot at HC regardless. QB developers are the second hottest commodity after only QBs themselves.
  12. Keep winning and hope these teams get tired of waiting for the SB and hire someone else 🤞
  13. Dang and I thought Tasker's video was good.
  14. All true! But get ahead on the scoreboard and their plan goes out the window. Our plan is good for all situations so we won't be out of our depth here no matter the obstacle.
  15. Some dang solid coaches though. I won't talk about the cheat, but have been overall impressed by Flores and think Saleh could be a good coach. I think the Defensively minded coaches are more in tune with discipline, culture, etc and therefore make good HCs especially if they find a good/great OC and turn that side of the ball over to them.
  16. Not much debate to be had here, as deferring just makes more sense. Sure, you are not guaranteed to double dip, but you ARE guaranteed the ball at the beginning of the most important half. Plus, if you receive the opening kickoff and don't score- now you have a defined disadvantage. It's like needing 15 points to win but you go for 2 on the first TD. It can be lethal if it works, but if not you are playing ketchup the rest of the game. I say save advantages for when it matters, and so does the NFL since pretty much every coin toss winner defers. It's just better.
  17. What do you mean WTF? There are ALWAYS fights at bills games.
  18. Uhhhh, yeah. That's what everyone always does anyway. I wear gloves just to take a little sting off of it.
  19. I'm guessing they realized that after all the ***** Nick has talked, Hammer's Lot is more dangerous than Salem's Lot for Mr. Wright.
  20. What if the rumors of him not interviewing well are true? (No idea of they are) If he thinks it's his "shot" to be a HC when no other teams are making offers, well that wouldn't be the first time someone did that. 21. I was nearvous about the Colts game, and that concern turned out to be founded. I think the situation and pressure of winning that first playoff game took as much of a toll as Indy itself. This team is carrying the weight of all those garbage drought teams, and the pressure mounted yesterday imo. That said Indy is not a great matchup for us, neither is TEN. I'd rather play KC than TEN. Hoping Ravens win today as I would rather play against a limited passer in Jackson than a Tennessee team that can throw, run, and defend.
  22. Saw this saying it will be Bienemy. Don't know who this guy is, but this is what he said: WEEI’s Christian Fauria indicated that he knows the answer. On Friday, he told SportsRadio 610 in Houston that the Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator wants nothing to do with the Houston Texans job, and instead wants to coach the New York Jets. “He’s going to be the next head coach of the New York Jets,” Fauria said. “I’m hearing that Eric Bieniemy wants to be and is going to be the next head coach of the New York Jets.” https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/eric_bieniemy_wants_to_be_jets_next_head_coach/s1_127_33768869
  23. Until they started jumping those short/quick routes in the PIT game. I think the Colts need to take an early lead, run the ball, and hope for some mistakes or turnovers by BUF to have a realistic chance in this one.
  24. This a reputable source, it's the local abc tv channel, but... ...this is a non-story. Clickbait, speculation headline that does not offer new info beyond twitter posts that were already posted on this forum. This is why people hate the media these days.
