  1. On the other hand, he could take his trillion dollars, buy an NFL franchise, and then own a championship-winning team.
  2. I am Groot. I am Groot. I am Groot.
  3. It's gotta be Marrone and not even close. Sure, Mularky's team folded against Steeler back-ups and helped Willie Parker jumpstart his career, but Marrone straight up quit on his team, and on New Years Eve at that! Plus, even if they are AFC foes, it's tough not to like how the Titans have gone about assembling their roster.
  4. Boggis, Bunce, and Bean (One fat, one short, one lean Those horrible crooks So different in looks Were nonetheless equally mean)
  5. It's not often you see someone win the thread on the first page. But yeah, wish we could get Barnidge and Boldin, only the former wants to be a TE1 and the latter is unlikely to sign with a team that isn't viewed as a Super Bowl contender. Agree re: Graham > Byrd; especially because one of them is a Buffalo boy - at least he would give some heart. To those who say you wouldn't want a wild card playoff berth... wholeheartedly disagree. You get in there and who knows what happens? Even if you're outmatched, injuries, momentum, bounces, and human referees are all part of football.
  6. Fire Whaley! (credit: YoloinOhio)
  7. Really hoping we never declare a winner between Brown and Ragland so Brady won't know who is the Mike.
  8. My reply was going to be "so unstoppable we made the playof - - oh wait" I think issue was taken with the word "unstoppable"
  9. So many GIFs with his head on someone getting bodyslammed.
  10. Would love Williams, but he said he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender. Barnidge would be great, but do not think he wants to split with Clay. Decker has too many health concerns. I think we're good at LB and CB for the time being. Would be for either Graham or Byrd, with a slight lean to the former.
  11. Hopefully the 4 years of experience for both White and Jones allows them both an easier transition to the NFL than most other rookies.
  12. So long as its speed burst, not tendon burst, I'm okay with it.
  13. No more lockers avaialble
  14. 2015: 69 catches, 789 yards, 4 touchdowns 2016: 67 catches, 584 yards, 8 touchdowns Half the WRs in the NFL must be in wheelchairs.
  15. Obviously because they had insider info that Maclin would get cut...
  16. Said he wants to go to a Super Bowl contender, so doubt the mutuality would be there, but would 100% support OBD trying. Maybe the familiarity with McDermott and Tolbert?
  17. Re: change of pace, I've always preferred for 2 of the 3 HBs to hold a thunder/lightning dynamic. Hoping McDermott knows Tolbert well enough from the past few years together.
  18. Not that bad, but they could use some cross-stitching at the V of the neck and possibly a larger USA logo.
  19. I don't doubt him as a runner, but do doubt whether or not he'll keep the football in his hands while running.
  20. But he hasn't even been used as a HB the past 3 years; he's been listed as FB on the depth chart. He obviously can run and catch, but was not given any opportunity to do so. If we had Stewart and Williams, Tolbert would likely not see the ball regardless. And I'm not pretending he's at the level of Karlos Williams or Gillislee (who we should have tendered at $1M higher), but do think he can be effective. I expect more from Tolbert than from Jonathan Williams.
  21. For 2016, he was strictly a fullback. Stewart, Whittaker, and Artis-Payne all got a lot of playing time. For 2015, he was strictly a fullback, and was behind Stewart and DeAngelo Williams (who we should make a push for). EDIT: same for 2014.
  22. Yeah, I have no illusion of the move being likely, but I can still want OBD to try.
  23. Hoping they correct this mistake and attempt to bring Boldin in this year to mentor Watkins and Jones.
