  1. Looked after making the post at his college stats, and my guess is pretty on par with his freshman production, which would make sense as this is again his first year playing up at the next level. I'd take it.
  2. Assuming no WR2 brought in and a somewhat healthy Watkins, where will he end up on the stat sheet? My guess is somewhere around 60 catches for 700 yards and 5 TDs.
  3. This is pretty interesting: Chris Trapasso @ChrisTrapasso #AgeTweet: Sammy Watkins turns 24 today. He's younger than 2016 rookie WRs: Josh Doctson, Michael Thomas, Sterling Shepard, & Braxton Miller
  4. Would be hilarious if we went from carrying Carpenter, Schmidt, and Gay, to just carrying Rehkow.
  5. Quick, someone snatch up CutonDime27!
  6. When you list out Hodges, Brown, Ragland, Alexander, Humber, Milano, and Villejo, as well as consider that nickel will be our package most of the time, there's more than enough depth.
  7. I dunno, no reason why Tolbert and Williams cannot be HB2A and HB2B respectively. Tolbert as change of pace/short yardage/goal line and Williams to spell McCoy. I am excited to see what Tolbert can contribute. Somewhat because I am skeptic based off Williams' first year.
  8. Imagine if he wore gloves!
  9. To stay with theme: https://munchies.vice.com/en_us/article/these-silent-snacks-were-specially-designed-for-noisy-cinema-eaters
  10. Regardless of age, Boldin keeps producing at a high level. Would take him as WR3 without a doubt. Unfortunately unlikely he would come to Buffalo.
  11. The reason you thought that is because Pro Bowls don't mean anything.
  12. If Ducasse & Mills: "Buzz, your right side of the offensive line... woof."
  13. Decker might be his teammate and Taylor... used to play for the Ravens?
  14. Most cuts wouldn't be all that surprising, but some mild surprise might ensue from cutting Tolbert, Holmes, Brown, and/or Schmidt. Possibly one of the rookie linebackers.
  15. Not giving up on Ragland by any means. The scenario was if he's completely out of place in the 4-3, and considering we will probably will only have 3 LBs on the field a low amount of the time, estimated at about 35% of plays (see below), why not try and get some value at a place of need? I should have clarified that it would not be Ragland for one of the guys on the initial list necessarily, but someone who would be a pretty solid WR2-3. "The 2015 season was the seventh straight year for an increase in the number of defensive snaps in the NFL with five defensive back or more on the field. Per Pro Football Focus here is the percentage of plays in NFL games with five DBs or more on the field in every season since 2008: 2008: 43.4% 2009: 45.1% 2010: 48.8% 2011: 52.5% 2012: 54.4% 2013: 58.3% 2014: 60.3% 2015: 63.4%"
  16. So, $5.75M/year for a top-end WR2? If it came down to money, then we made the wrong move, assuming no medical issues.
  17. Then whoever else is the odd-man-out at LB?
  18. I guess I'm just going off that we'll probably see 2 LBs on the field most of the time, and we have Hodges, Brown, Alexander, Humber, Milano, and Vallejo. I personally cannot wait to see if Ragland can produce in our scheme, but just from a numbers game standpoint it would make sense to me. IF there's a trade partner.
  19. Ragland? If he doesn't fit the 4-3, plus we play more nickel, and if a WR is available...
  20. $5.5 per year for a top-end WR2? Yeah, if we didn't offer more, then I'm disappointed. That, assuming no significant medical issues.
  21. Anquan Boldin has been undervalued most, if not all, of his career. No reason to think, even at 36, that he'll start not to prove everyone wrong. The guy's a pro's pro.
