  1. I would like to say that I would completely boycott, but then again the lure of seeing the last games in town possibly ever might be too much and make me go against principle... Actually, no. Screw that league if they ever allow someone to take my team away.
  2. Not a huge fan of the draft overall, but love drafting Engram as a WR.
  3. Not kidding, just playing devil's advocate like I said. Never said the class isn't great. Clearly, it is. If you want to join the argument, then you'd have to be arguing for KJ's statement: "They just produced the greatest rookie class a school has ever produced." Which it might even be! Just not clearly so at this point. Yes, Lee is still young, but he had the year he had for how high he was drafted. Jones barely saw the field. Everyone is drafted on potential. Everyone is judged on production, or lack thereof. These 2 haven't done much. Washington as a 3rd round pick really didn't do that much either. Bell? Eh. Miller? Ok. I dunno much about Vannett and Perry to say either way. Elliot, Thomas, Decker, Bosa, and Apple all had decent to stellar seasons. No denying that. Just saying pump the breaks on "best ever."
  4. I've got no problem with keeping 4 QBs. Injuries happen. Bad play happens. Competition breeds success.
  5. Yeah that Darron Lee, huh? (http://jetswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/04/jets-darron-lee-was-nfls-worst-rookie-linebacker/) Cardale Jones tore the league up, too... Not really arguing against OSU products, but just playing devil's advocate
  6. I think many view Washington as the long-term replacement to Kyle
  7. Bump this up because he is an ideal QB2 and Buffalo needs it some more Fitzmagic. Fear the beard.
  8. I'm OK with a QB at any pick of the draft. More likely, it'll be with our 5th, 5th, or 6th round pick. Evans, Dobbs, and Kelly make sense in those rounds. Regardless of whether or not we draft a QB at all, signing Fitzpatrick as QB2 would be a great move. Top-end QB2 in this league. Never know when you need a guy to step up and string a couple wins together. Fear the beard.
  9. Goodnight. 1: R1P10 LB REUBEN FOSTER ALABAMA 2: R2P12 TE EVAN ENGRAM MISSISSIPPI 3: R3P11 S JOSH JONES NC STATE 4: R5P12 EDGE KEIONTA DAVIS CHATTANOOGA 5: R5P27 QB JEROD EVANS VIRGINIA TECH 6: R6P11 WR KD CANNON BAYLOR
  10. $10.1M - $6.4M + $2.4M = $6.1M. Wonder how much we're using from our 2018 cap space to lure Zach Brown.
  11. Vet min? Yeah sure, to compete with Taylor, Jones, and a rookie. Why not?
  12. Flutie's successful drop kick was the first since I think 1941.
  13. The only reason I'd be for this is to potentially undue the curse from the last QB to successfully drop kick a field goal in the NFL. I just hope if they do this, and Steve Christie offers to help, that they wisen up and sign him as a coach...
  14. If we were rebuilding, then I don't think Taylor, possibly McCoy, Wood, or Williams would be on the roster. Although he did it last year, I think the pressure on Whaley is currently enough that taking good value players who have to sit a while is akin to him using his rent money to paint the walls -- he's gonna get evicted and then someone else is gonna move in and get the benefit of a newly painted apartment.
  15. You'll pick him where he tells you to pick him, and like it.
  16. Yeah, you run to the podium in the 3rd if he's there. We're not good enough to have one of our top 2 picks sit... again.
  17. I figured why not, but also have fears of Eric Striker-type success happening.
  18. More broadly, it is surprising, given how long the Buffalo and Cleveland franchises have been poor, that they don't deal in cahoots more often. Scratch each others' backs across the lake.
  19. If that's the case, let's make sure we sign Brown just for the tequila
  20. Funny, I've thought of Dobbs as the Taylor-like QB in this class. I like 1, 2, 3, 6, and don't know enough about 5 and 5. Personally, I'd rather go Tankersly than Jackson at 44, but that's just based on size and the NRC release. I also like Evans if S is not close to BPA in rounds 1 or 2.
