  3. Sincerely wondering: what makes you think Poyer is a lock to start? By his lack of production and smaller contract, I assumed he was S3 at best.
  4. While I don't mind this draft, I prefer football players over athletes. Not that they aren't good players, but the focus seemed a little too Combine oriented. I like Reddick, and think his stock may rise to top 10, but agree it is ideal to trade back if he's our first pick.
  5. While this isn't that important, there is something to be said for knowing history and building community. It is good for our coach to know what made many of these legends fall in love with the region. Selling Buffalo to FAs and UDFAs is not necessarily the easiest of tasks.
  6. The phone call regarding this should be responded to with laughter, a click, and this noise:
  7. Yeah, I think I was banking on Z. Brown coming back. Any good 3rd round LB prospects of which I should be aware? Also I'd put S above CB, as I think they believe in Seymour on the outside, but cannot imagine they really believe in Poyer as a starter. Plus, CB is as deep if not deeper than S imho.
  8. "Mills doesn't even touch the speed rusher off the edge and -- ugh -- looks like they're bringing out the cart..."
  9. Preoccupied b/c pursuit of the Peppers pick potentially piquing plenty of people's passions...
  10. This is a good idea. I also don't want to give McDermott more credit than is due just because he is not making the same mistakes as Ryan. Still, I like this. Re: Watkins, no. I have not seen the maturity necessary to be a leader. Talent =/= leadership. To echo what has been said -- show me. Taylor? Yes. He has proven in less time than Watkins that he is a leader of men. By example.
  11. Seems like news worthy of its very own, brand new, thread.
  12. Plenty of mocks have Allen falling to us at 10, where he would likely be BPA.
  13. If J Williams shows up pushing 250... we'll know we fired the correct conditioning people
  14. I do expect 1 S and 1-2 CBs in the draft, so that could help. If we came away with Lattimore, Melifonwu, and Langley, then I'd be pretty pumped about our secondary and D in general. No more out-scheming BB. 11 across from 11 and play ball.
  15. Wonder how they're going to handle Garrapolo being an UFA next year. Maybe committing more money now results in dealing Garrapolo and going with a cheap rookie QB contract when the time to transition comes.
  16. Definitely not with the color rush uni's, but for sure with the normal ones. The red helmet is classic Bills. So is the white. But both are.

  18. He ran a 4.37 today and his previous 2 seasons are 96-1,420-12 in 2016 and 64-1,012-11 in 2015. Small school always begs the competition question as evidenced by his lack of invitation to the Combine, but this guy also ran faster than all but 2 WRs who were invited to the Combine. Could be the burner to complement Holmes' possession-suited attributes. He's been consistently around in the 5th round for my mock draft simulations, but then again he just recently posted that 40 time. Thoughts on Chad Williams, WR, Grambling? http://whodatdish.com/2017/03/21/wide-receiver-chad-williams-brought-the-house-down-in-ruston/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2700673-2017-nfl-draft-biggest-winners-losers-of-pro-day-workouts-so-far Edit: and... 1: R1P10 DL JONATHAN ALLEN ALABAMA 2: R2P12 CB FABIAN MOREAU UCLA 3: R3P11 S JUSTIN EVANS TEXAS A&M 4: R5P12 WR CHAD WILLIAMS GRAMBLING 5: R5P27 DE KEIONTA DAVIS UT-CHATTANOOGA 6: R6P11 QB CHAD KELLY OLE MISS
  19. He is a 6'6" 275 lb guy who ran a 4.6 second 40 (when he was 248 lb), who came out of high school a top-10 nationally rated tight end prospect, and who the Oregon coaches initially wanted to play WR... move over Logan Thomas?
  20. If this were special teams, and Jordan were the football, and Whaley was on the coverage team... then "poison!"
  21. But all the coaches know that, so... reverse psychology double-smokescreen?
  22. Agreed on both. That footwork is atrocious, but it's like the upper half of his body just doesn't care. The ball gets where it's supposed to go. Is hoping he's there at 44 delusional?
  23. Would love to see an actual person play Buffalo Bill Cody. Heck, how about he keeps a live buffalo on the sidelines? Trots in on a horse and fires some cap guns in the air before the game to get us going. Could have a whole wagon/western theme and everything.
