  1. I did one where Davis fell to the Patriots and promptly threw up in my mouth.
  2. Fitzpatrick would be one of the better backup QBs in the league
  3. If he's playing 70% of the time at full health, I think an small incentive K, like ndirish mentioned, is more than fair. He's a talent. Let Mills or Ola start the other 4-5 games.
  4. He led the team in special teams tackles and snaps, so a more valuable signing than might appear to be on face value. Also could speak to it being less likely that we keep Easley.
  5. Foles would be a solid back-up QB option, so I think I'd prefer him if we are keeping Taylor. Either way, I'd prefer Hoyer, but would not be disappointed.
  6. WR1: Watkins WR2: ideally Woods (2nd FA priority behind Z. Brown), but for slightly less $ we can get D. Jackson from WAS (who has said he wants to play with Shady again), or for even more savings, Taylor's former teammate Aiken from BAL WR3: Hunter WR4: Powell WR5: Listenbee WR6: Patterson would be an upgrade, but also okay with retaining Tate WR7: Easley (depending on if he is valuable enough to make the final 53)
  7. Wouldn't be against the pick-up, but would prefer Hoyer.
  8. My understanding along with that is that Taylor does not need so much to work on his mechanics as work on seeing all of the field better. Giving him the perspective of an ex-QB who has coached receivers, installed game plans, and studied film for years should help the latter.
  9. Do I think we have a lot of talent on defense? Yes, but let's remember the Pro Bowl is the Pro Bowl.
  10. Interesting way of looking at things. Seems as if Buffalo made out pretty well in that department. Also found this group interesting: PITT 25,334,805 11 2,303,164 ATL 25,500,000 11 2,318,182 NYG 25,588,400 11 2,326,218 All similar and playoff teams, 2 in conference championships.
  11. Not sure I buy that Dennison can make it work with Osweiler, but not Taylor...
  12. The screamingly obvious answer is screamingly obvious for a reason. Go Falcons. Hand the Pats* another Super Bowl loss.
  13. Unfortunately re: Peyton Manning as QB coach: “I do not see myself coaching,” said Manning when asked about his coaching future. “I will not be a coach.” Manning, who stepped away from football after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos in his 18th NFL season, also squashed any rumors that he will return to Tennessee to coach the quarterbacks at his alma mater this season. “No, I will not be coaching quarterbacks at Tennessee, but I’ll be the biggest Vols fan this year,” Manning added. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/05/27/peyton-manning-coaching-comments-tennessee#
  14. Assuming we are priced out of keeping Woods, would love to see Marshall brought in if he gels well with Rico. Also, can we please talk about the fact that Dennison's nickname is Rico?
  15. He helped Osweiler look good enough to get a $72 million contract based off about half a season's worth of play. Last year. Also hopes this means Dorsey is QB coach.
  16. OK now c'mon Peyton Manning for QB coach...
  17. Gotta lean that way with how much it's been reported Denver wanted him recently
  18. No one really does before coming a coordinator, but would it not be refreshing to have an offense focused through the line and superb blocking? He's a true offensive guy: As player: Houston Oilers (1982–1993) As coach: Houston Oilers (1994–1996) (Offensive assistant/quality control coach) Tennessee Oilers/Titans (1997–2010) (Offensive line coach) Tennessee Titans (2011–2013) (Head coach) Pittsburgh Steelers (2014–present) (Offensive line coach) Just reeeeeally line focused. I do get your point though re: play-calling.
  19. If true, why could that not be Munchak? Checks the prior head coaching experience box many have been listing as a preference in a candidate.
  20. I'd be interested in Kelly, but heard somewhere that he, how do I put it... "can't shake $#!+" so I dunno...
  21. Haha glad I wasn't the only one who heard that and went
  22. Gotta think Childress or Nagy with the Reid coaching tree thing we have going on.
  23. I'm going to give it to Brown by a hair over Woods, just because I like the guys like Jackson and Ginn that I could see us making a run at in FA for WR.
