  1. Honestly I think is be more excited for Charles Barkley. At least he's be a good interview....
  2. So I'm wondering what they do if he does throw multiple picks in the first half, which is quite likely. Do you put in Logan Thomas, or let Peterman set a new record for INTs? You don't have to be good to be famous.
  3. If the Bills leave, so long and thanks for all the fish.... Peace out.
  4. This reminds me of an old south park episode about choosing a school mascot...
  5. Perhaps Brady will try to add a 12 touchdown pass game to his legacy. Otherwise he's out by halftime after 42 to 0 lead.
  6. Maybe he'll outdo Percy Harvin and Vontae Davis and retire on the field after the first 3 and out. ? More likely scenario: 12 of 27, 89 yds, 2 int
  7. They could try kneeling 3 times and punting, and hope the defense scores on turnovers. Although that's not much different than what they've been doing...?
  8. Why do you build me up, Buttercup, Baby, just to let me down, Then mess me around. But then worst of all, Ya never call baby when ya say ya will, But I love you still... ??????
  9. 6-10 unless defense can steal a couple games or o-line becomes better than it has looked.
  10. I would look at it more like this... The NFL is the overall corporation, with franchises in 32 different locations that all draw from a common talent pool. If there were other comparable leagues that could compensate players at a similar rate, you would see more of a free market approach. Since they're by far the biggest consumer of football talent, they can dictate the rules of employment. Also players declare themselves eligible to be drafted, basically agreeing to this system.
  11. Wow, Deadpool has really let himself go....
  12. Just pick a qb already! You need one, there's a bunch available. If you get it right, awesome! We watch exciting football for 10 years. You get it wrong, you win 4 to 8 games and do this dance all over again anyway. This is entertainment, not a shareholders meeting. Play to win, not to avoid losing.
  13. It does seem to throw off his timing and focus. Not completely, but enough to open the window. Plus I like seeing him get knocked down.?
  14. Not to sidestep too far from the OP's original point, the Eagles didn't do what everyone else has done for years against New England. They actually kept their foot on the gas offensively. Instead if playing worthless prevent defense they went after Brady, and amazingly, they got him to turn it over. You have to take chances to beat the best teams. Conservative equals predictable in football. Taking risks doesn't always pay off but not taking risks only gets you so far. Brady has made a living off teams that get ahead by about ten or twenty and pray that's enough. 1. Keep scoring. 2. Keep knocking Brady down. 3. No lead is safe. 4. Keep moving the ball. Brady can't hurt you while he's stuck on the bench watching your offense. 5. Knock Brady down some more. Its the one thing that gets under his skin. 6. Brady's gonna get his yards and points, that's a given. You have to out shoot him. YOU CAN'T OUTLAST HIM.
  15. Best QB of the drought? Isn't this a little like asking what the best Sharknado movie was?
  16. Brady :"Inconceivable!" Foles : "You keep using that word....I'm not sure you know what it means."
  17. As much as it dismays me, I kinda have to stick up for Brady here. The 49ers dynasty existed prior to the current free agency and salary cap restrictions. They were an all star team that stayed together far longer than you'd ever see now. Back then it was them and the Giants and Skins, and everyone else was way behind. Montana was great, but experienced a different league.
  18. Two possible scenarios: 1. Eagles jump out to a lead, only to get conservative late and let Brady come back. 2.Pats win in blowout, break Niners 45 point victory margin record. Neither one is very encouraging. ?
  19. One of my favorite players, solid, dependable guy you never had to worry about. Glad he retires a Bill, just wish under better circumstances. Best of luck in whatever comes next, big guy.
  20. Lets save you all some time. Eagles will lead at halftime, but through some "Brilliant Halftime Adjustments", the pats will work their way back. Then at the very end Brady will march through the Eagles prevent defense to take the lead and the win.
  21. He'll play no matter what. Even if he were dead, they haul him out there weekend at bernie's style.
  22. True. Sooner or later they all wanna get paid, can't pay them all. Plus the minute your team shows any promise there go half of your coaches.
