  1. The afc of the last 15 years is all you need to see. 4 qbs have made the super bowl in that time. Brady, Manning, Roethlisberger, and 1 lone appearance by Flacco. A lot of almost great teams have beat their heads against the glass ceiling only to fall to the AFC's big 3 in that time.
  2. Rooting for Jags vs Vikings. Would settle for Eagles / Jags Seen enough of BradyKraftichick.
  3. Its an aberration. Over the long term, elite qbs make more consistent championship game appearances. Strong defense teams tend to be one and done or inconsistent at best.
  4. 1 lucky catch and run on missed tackle vs over 30 years of NFL viewing. Saints make that tackle, Brees is your winner. I'll take a franchise qb over the long haul any day.
  5. Invest in offensive line and quarterback. Running backs that are effective can be had later in the draft. Open some holes for them and get a couple defenders out of the box with quality passing and you'd be surprised the value you get.
  6. 1.Qb. Not making mistakes is great, but only part of the equation. 2. O line. Give the Qb time and the Rb holes. 3. D line. Shut down the other team's run game and get consistent pressure. 4. Lb. Depth and reliable tackling to take pressure off secondary. 5. Wr. Guys who can get separation and stay healthy. 6.A difference maker on special teams. Either a dangerous returner or someone who can create blocked kicks or turnovers.
  7. Falcons and Saints. Eagles have no Qb. Vikings always find a way to lose in the playoffs, why not Drew Brees?
  8. As much as I'm tired of seeing it, Pats and Steelers. Although it would be hysterical to watch the League and network big shots have to sell a Jags/Vikings Super Bowl....
  9. Hard to argue with results! GO BILLS!
  10. My biggest knock on Dennison is that he didn't play to Taylor or the offensive line's strengths. Not sure why they tried to reinvent the wheel on the o-line, only to have to change it back mid season. Also took away the long passes and improvised running from Taylor, the 2 things he's actually decent at. A traditional pocket passer he is not, nor will ever be. Losing Watkins didn't help, but throwing 8 yards backwards to Tolbert doesn't either.
  11. No a guarantee, just increases the odds. Injuries, poor supporting cast, and bad coaching can still screw it up.
  12. Need a big man to tie up multiple blockers and stuff the run. Good work ethic and mentally stable would also be a plus.....
  13. Either way, everyone else apparently decided he wasn't worth it. Or were instructed not to touch him.
  14. So, this guy clears waivers on every other team in the league and just so happens to make it all the way down the list to the patriots? You can't tell me no other team could use this guy, with the way injuries happen? No other playoff team could use a guy with his experience? I smell fish.
  15. Unlikely he would have had a similar career in Buffalo. Something to be said for right place, right time.
  16. Enjoy the ride while it lasts, Pats fans. Eventually Brady will retire, as will Bill the genius. Then you'll be back in the land of the mortals, and some other team will take your place.
  17. At this point I don't care if they deserve it or not. In the playoffs is in the playoffs. They don't give points for style or integrity.
  18. Tom Brady = Ric Flair In entertainment logic, doesn't matter if fans love or hate him, as long as everyone's watching.
  19. Vince McMahon, oops, I mean errr, the NFL really wants this LA thing to work. Better help build a winner out there....you know they're giddy over the idea of a Boston/LA super bowl.
  20. The Bills probably lose yesterday anyway, but after the league took that td away, its pretty obvious what was going on. Thanks for playing buffalo, but the Generals don't get to beat the Globetrotters. You're just here so it kinda looks like a game.
  21. I read somewhere she has slow eyes... Better go with Dan Rather...
  22. Pressure and hit Brady, get him out of rythym. Keep drives going, eat the clock, let Brady rot on the bench waiting. Score tds, not just field goals. Get turnovers, give none. It's not likely, but not impossible. The pats are not an unstoppable juggernaut this year. Give it your best shot, Buffalo.
