Allen's accuracy is far better than any other "running" QB. When he can no longer run, he will just be a larger than average (much larger) accurate QB with a cannon for an arm. I understand why you might dismiss him as a QB who will get hurt and be ineffective, you do not watch every game as we all do. But I think when you watched that game yesterday, you also saw a team (Bills) that: A) Has a subpar running game and needed to run to keep the PATS from playing deep cover two or three the entire game B) Are in the playoffs already, (win or die) starting yesterday and of late, I've seen Ole Tom Brady "sprinting" for 1st downs, doing what it takes C) Has a QB who will find a way when the chips are down, in whatever way possible D) Is learning to throw underneath and take what the D gives. Ala Tom Brady for two decades. 90% of the time JA slides, yesterday, he was going to get that win no matter what. Against TB we were down big and nearly pulled it off. Allen is a gamer, always believes he can win and is young and strong. The good news is, the head and heart will not leave him as he ages and he will get even better at QB... You are a PATS fan, you badly want to console yourself with how the JA experience has a limited window. I know and understand, we kept waiting for TB12 to get old. I am just glad he got dumped a few years too early... I think Allen is going to get better, much better.

Sadly, I think it is more about growing up in era of unbridled greed. If you can get away with it, do it. It started in the early 80s and has run amok. I worked on the street for a while (software, not as a trader), the bigger the scam and the take, the more people admired each other. Horrible.

I don't think "run Josh" is as easy as everyone here seems to think it is. Unless you want him shoving into the tackles or getting cut down, his runs have to be in open lanes. Also, if that is our answer to a running game, we might as well push until next year, cause Josh is not Lamar and we don't want him getting destroyed by rushing 15 times a game.

None of us know what's happening in practices. He might be fumbling regularly and then after the last couple gametime bumbles, McD decided it was enough.

He looked good with a borderline elite qb in his prime. With an average short guy, not so much.

I guess he dropped down to his collegiate playing weight. Funny how many thought he was a waste until we didn't have him last year. I often see him holding up two linemen while out ends and LBs run free. Shows how important a big D tackle like Star is.

I thought flores decision was ludicrous, despite the result. Also, his early timeout when the bills had 2nd and 6 was questionable.

I doubt the Falcons would part with him, I mean who wants to trade away good young OL? That said, what do you think the Bills will be drafting this next year? Dollars to donuts, it'll be a guard...if there is one with the value at their pick.
