Observations re the week 5 KC/Buff game
foreboding replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think if Josh takes the sure thing, and not try to "out-big-play" Mahomey, it could be a long day for the Chefs. -
Except bigger and without the snarkiness, lies or "I'm smarter than you all" attitude.

Would NE do Mac Jones + picks for Watson?

"That type of player..." What do Cam Newton and Watson have in common?🤔 -

If you were Leslie Frazier, would you want to face Josh Allen twice a year? -

Calling it now: Devin will be a 1000 yard back this year
foreboding replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, to be fair to the OP he would definitely have cracked 1000 yds if it was a 19 game season....so, pretty close. -

Leslie is such a class act and, like Daboll, the players love him. I think they will both get HC gigs this year. -
I really hope they put someone else back there. Besides the brutal fumble, the guy runs headlong into his blockers almost every return. Maybe time to reinstall lil' Dirty?

Cool stat, thank you. I think we'd all agree he's our best LB, and has been for a while.
-
Yeah. He doesn't wear a mask to the pressers and after all the Rodgers hubbub he would be. Very safe to say yes. It's smart for him to keep team unity to not comment on it. He is more mature than most of us here.

Sean clarifies his comments, discuss the win, a nice little article. Enjoy. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/12/27/mmqb-week-16-patriots-push-bills-better-sean-mcdermott

Our team does not require the services of a punter.

Allen's accuracy is far better than any other "running" QB. When he can no longer run, he will just be a larger than average (much larger) accurate QB with a cannon for an arm. I understand why you might dismiss him as a QB who will get hurt and be ineffective, you do not watch every game as we all do. But I think when you watched that game yesterday, you also saw a team (Bills) that: A) Has a subpar running game and needed to run to keep the PATS from playing deep cover two or three the entire game B) Are in the playoffs already, (win or die) starting yesterday and of late, I've seen Ole Tom Brady "sprinting" for 1st downs, doing what it takes C) Has a QB who will find a way when the chips are down, in whatever way possible D) Is learning to throw underneath and take what the D gives. Ala Tom Brady for two decades. 90% of the time JA slides, yesterday, he was going to get that win no matter what. Against TB we were down big and nearly pulled it off. Allen is a gamer, always believes he can win and is young and strong. The good news is, the head and heart will not leave him as he ages and he will get even better at QB... You are a PATS fan, you badly want to console yourself with how the JA experience has a limited window. I know and understand, we kept waiting for TB12 to get old. I am just glad he got dumped a few years too early... I think Allen is going to get better, much better.

Should Davis start over Sanders going forward?

Game day roster is 100% coaching staff. -
Our coach is Mike McCarthy with no hair.
foreboding replied to Joe Ferguson's topic in The Stadium Wall
A head coach instills a culture and he is the leader of type-a grown men. McCarthy is a ***** ton of schtick. You can question some of Sean's decisions, but this/he is by far the best culture/leader we've had in decades. How soon you forget the years of nothingness... -
I don't think "run Josh" is as easy as everyone here seems to think it is. Unless you want him shoving into the tackles or getting cut down, his runs have to be in open lanes. Also, if that is our answer to a running game, we might as well push until next year, cause Josh is not Lamar and we don't want him getting destroyed by rushing 15 times a game.

He fumbled an exchange and a kick. Didn't see him much after that.

Horse poop. The Bills are gonna slam the Pats back to earth. Who you afraid of on that team? If we actually play to our level, we win by 20. Bring it.
