Blacked out again down in Mexico
Jose Cuervo got me again
Wasted again with El Diablo
Alcohol my only friend
Smash the bottles on the reef
Wash the dirt off of my feet
That was the summer of my life
Many times I've lied, and many times I've listened
Many times I've wondered how much there is to know
Many dreams come true, and some have silver linings
I live for my dream and a pocketful of gold
So if you're down on your luck
And you can't harmonize
Find a girl with far away eyes
And if you're downright disgusted
And life ain't worth a dime
Get a girl with far away eyes
Just put me in a wheelchair, get me on a plane
Hurry, hurry, hurry, before I go insane
I can't control my fingers, I can't control my brain
Oh no, oh-oh oh-oh
I could name a lot of one hit wonders but don't think that's the point here
This one won't go over well, but I just never had any interest in the Grateful Dead. Mid 90's got a greatest hit type album to see what I'd been missing but for the most part it didn't resonate. Except Franklins Tower which I love. Probably wasn't this version:
Tua would be awesome if not for injury in this thread. You brought up Mahomes in a comment comparing Josh Allen to Tua, Zach Wilson and Mac Jones in another. I don't think you're a Bills fan. Whether you are or not, have a nice day!
As a whole sure - and I agree that the injuries finally caught up to us.
Excusing the game winning drive doesn't work for me - that is not phenomenal D in any way shape or form.
Phenomenal D? The game winning drive for the Jets started at the 4 and the Jets didn't attempt a pass until they were at the Buffalo 18 and only dropped back one time after that. This loss was a collective effort.
I agree with your other post that it wasn't likely to get overturned. Disagree that refs should make a call based on whether it would make the play reviewable. They should call it as they see it, nothing more, nothing less. They'll make mistakes, replay should remedy the bad ones, fans should learn to live with the marginal ones and move on IMO.
Have we ever seen Tua, Mac or Wilson play at an elite level - or even win a playoff game? Granted Josh has been in the league longer and had a chance to establish himself - but that only makes your comparison weaker IMO.
I think he looked tentative because the Jets were able to pressure him.
But I agree with the premise that to some extent they need to let him play. Just be prepared for the day when it comes back to bite us, cuz it will.
What do you think the players and coaches goals were prior to this game that need to be reassessed? I'd be surprised if it wasn't winning the division and figuring out home-field and 'everything else' that follows after that.
I didn't watch much of the first two games, but the last three have drawn me in. Last nights game was great, I kept expecting the Astros to pull away but then at the end the Phillies had a chance for the comeback.
