How true.
Does anyone remember the Marv Levy emphasis on Special Teams? Marv was a Special Teams afficionado.. he was crazy about them. That's what created Mark Kelso and Steve Tasker. That's what wins games. That's what is needed now.
If I send a 1-800-Edible basket to McBean, will they get the message?
Ya. I tried in college to make sense to it. Can't be done.
But trying to beat the lotto really helped me understand randomness for a stats class I was taking at the same time. I got a B.
When a post subject line contains the word NOW:
Someone should be fired over Mahomes NOW
Fire McDermott and Bean NOW
Trade Benjamin NOW
What a pathetic world of instant gratification we live in. Sick.
Don't you hate when you're balls to the wall and slaying them the whole game--then some dude selects one poor drive to characterize your entire performance.
We're in a new era where feelings are more important than facts or contracts.
You see it in this thread. You also see it in the "trade Shady because he is due" threads.
I have to re-rank the stupidest posts now.
1. Fire "someone" because we didn't take Mahomes
2. Fire McDermott and Bean
3. Fire Daboll
OP got the Bronze medal.
This isn't the stupidest post of the week.
The stupidest post of the week was the dude who wanted "fire someone now" because Mahomes was lighting up the league.
OP comes in second place to that.
The priority is winning. Or better said, trying to win. Or said yet another way, not deliberately tanking.
So win ugly. You have to try and win each and every game. Not trying to win allows a cancer to spread in the locker room---not very McDermott-ish.
Allen will develop while the team tries to win.
For someone flying in (my assumption), you can't beat:
Charlie the Butcher
Intersection of Wehrle Drive and Cayuga Road
It's about a five minute drive from the car rental return.
