  1. Scott brand.. haha It's like wiping your butt with an emory board, you're sanding your butt clean with 500 grit. Conversely, there's Charmin--it's like wiping yourself with an inside out sweatshirt.
  2. WOW! The young'uns are growing up before our very eyes to be some serious players.
  3. Yes.. that was a Whaley era failing. Who is the dude who administered contracts? I forget his name. Oberdorfer, or something like that? Anyway, I feel like the staff that ran contract talks was operating without Doug's supervision. They gave away the store--almost every contract was overly in the player's favor. We're still paying the penalty this year. It will be nice to be out of cap hell next year. OTH, If Doug was behind those excessive contracts--shame on him.
  4. Lolz.. to those who say git'r done, or I'd kick the tires... Consider that he may not want to be here. Buffalo is not a well known career building hotbed.
  5. Yep. That's why I think it's a travesty to have him coached by a dude who never played QB before.
  6. Lolz.. moot point. No matter who starts--they lose.
  7. These poll choices do limit the expression of fans; could probably use six choices in total. Good polls and surveys are surprisingly difficult. There are graduate level courses in surveys. There is even a PhD in Survey Methodology from Univ. of Maryland, College Park. ==================== Me: I'm a Peterman supporter when he starts, but when better options become available, it's time to move on from the stiff. The underlined part: it's a jab at the git'r done cut him now crowd, who just assume there's a magical pot of backup quality QB's waiting to be signed. We learned the shallow market for QB skills when we signed Derek Anderson--who is actually worse than Peterman, and was brought in as a desperate PR move.
  8. There weren't allot of options at the time. The word 'choice' misrepresents what happened. There was a crush of QB signings over a few days league wide---overpaid signings at that---AJ was the last semi-competent QB available.
  9. Not sure what law. But he certainly did break the terms of his Bills ticket. Throwing things on the field is verboten and will get you thrown out. Now for getting arrested: I'd like to hear from one of the board lawyers.
  10. The only reason the Bills are viable in a small market is revenue from the TV contract. If the TV contract collapses and the Bills need revenue from their own suite and ticket sales--they'd be out of here in a minute. Pegs may not be looking for a huge profit, but I'm pretty certain he and she want to be in the black at least.
  11. Hammer's Lot. Problem is normal GPS won't get you there because some of the roads are blocked or reversed on game days. Maybe someone can get you good airport street by street directions (assuming you fly in). Edit: an Uber driver knows how to get in, 50% chance
  12. To answer your Qs: #1 = Is it conceivable? No. He has about 8 games left under contract. Also he wants to be the starter.. no way he "mentors" Josh Allen. #2 = Would Tyrod be open? Who the hell cares, he's under contract and can be traded to the North Pole if desired. What he wants is little of the equation.
  13. Football Czar is just an added layer of management carp. But since you asked, I believe the answer from the gossip during that period of time is: Tom Coughlin Who trivia nerds would know was once a gym teacher at RIT, and coach to their football team. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2016/09/buffalo_bills_met_with_syracuse_alum_tom_coughlin_says_sal_maiorana.html
  14. Sure. When coached by Andy Reid and surrounded by a strong supporting cast. Mahomes would be useless here coached by a defense minded HC, and Brian "fricking" Daboll. And never mind the QB Coach who is as helpful as breasts on a bull. BTW.. you are beating a dead horse.
  15. I was going to make a derogatory comment about ancient noodle arm Ryan Fitzpatrick. Then I looked at who the Bills are starting tomorrow night.
  16. Rule 8. Never run a group tab as a tourista. They getcha everytime. I was with a group in NYC the bill was $2400.. I swear to God it shouldn't have been a dime over $1500, but servers leverage group confusion and alcohol to screw people. The host ended up eating the loss. Me: Separate check, thank you.

  18. Here is my unique and insightful response to OP: Someone should be fired for Mahomes, NOW!
  19. It's their second bye week of the season. God, I hope not. How classless and embarrassing to Buffalo that would be. Especially embarrassing if the sex toy crew comes out.
  20. DA is no better than Peterman. I don't care who they play Monday night. No matter who plays, it will be an ugly slaughter.
  21. Predicting a player's course through the concussion protocol is a fools errand--if the the Bills are optimistic, their judgment is worse than I thought.
  22. Foot note (1 ) Not having a competent QB Coach makes a bad culture even worse From my understanding, the Bills QB coach is not very experienced with NFL QBs.
  23. People looking for a deliberate injury to any player, even Tom Brady, are just sick. Having said that, I'd like enough pressure on Brady to cause one of his sideline hissy fits -- those are classic.
  24. He went into the Blue Tent after the play. Once a player enters the Blue Tent, the process is outside the control of the team. The independent Doc says concussion or no concussion, the team has no input, and the team must go with the call. If the team wants to shelve a player, there are other easier ways to do so.
