The Offseason Has Officially Reached a New Low
boater replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Off The Wall is hurting as well. There's a thread today on pooping or farting at work. Of course, I had to reply. -
You could publish that and make money I once knew the cleanest and least visited restrooms of a certain large military base. When I got transferred, my staff was quite impressed when I passed my secret on.

Are they likely to have the Sox on, and do they care if you hang out for 3 hours nursing a couple of beers? They're pretty good about putting up the channels people ask for. The Q is whether their package will have the channel you want. (they have Verizon FIOS, lookup the channel number before you go) Order Wings and you could prolly hangout all night. They aren't the very best, but certainly top-10.

Ya. How will it go between the two? Is Guy LaFleur a Quarterback whisperer? One for highly talented, but temperamental QB's?

Josh Allen spending time with Jim Kelly

Now that JK is recovered, he can do the Mark Rippetoe program and put on some of the bulk he lost. -
Probably went after-burner after firing, thus flying into the bullets he just fired. Edit update, this has happened before: The Fighter Plane That Shot Itself Down

Heir to the Michelin Tire fortune.

Perversely, Housley's success early in the season with that winning streak may have been his ultimate undoing. The October winning streak may have indicated to the Pegulas that the talent was on the roster to be a playoff team. I know that's what the winning streak meant to me. If the talent was on the roster for playoffs, the only excuse for the late season collapse is coaching.

Reading tea leaves: Bills trade down with NYG or OAK

Trading away the chance to select an Avalon--for only a Camry and Corolla in return. -
So where to go for a good plate in Buffalo..? I only know Bill Gray's, Main Street in Clarence.

Bills get surprise nod in ESPN Power Ranking article

It's all about the ratings benjamins. Rams #2 Chargers #5 Bears #6 It must have really hurt the author to rank the Jets and Giants so low. -

The three B's: boats, babies, boobies. Plus good healthy pet dogs. -
Congratulations on your new guy. Pictures? Yep.. highs and lows, though mostly highs. Ugh.. glad you have a vet appointment, roundworms can get complicated.
-
The vet actually used pill pockets, I don't know which brand. They offered to sell me some. PS: @plenzmd1 She is doing very well. For a girl who almost died last Tuesday, her turn around has been amazing. I don't take her recovery for granted, I know it's a blessing. Many pets don't get over lepto.

I couldn't get past the ad blocker filter. But on the subject: can Tinder be used without leading to a devastating STD? Asking for a friend.

This I firmly believe. I don't have scientific evidence, it's just something I feel. I am not alone. Hang in there Bro. I am going through similar experience and feel validated that others have the same issues

Thanks. I've been wrapping pills in canned dog food. It works but is messy as heck. I was aware of pill-pockets, but I was not aware of chewy.com... which outscores Amazon in price. Thanks!

...and when they are retired racers, like Lilly, there is something especially soulful about them I can't put my finger on. Professional athletes.. see what they do to us

Does the construction index account for WNY politics incompetence** and graft? I don't think so. Todays dollars, a 750 million dollar project nationally equals 1+ billion here, I reckon. ** We couldn't even get a Chick-Fil-A in our airport for goodness sakes.

She's resting here in her favorite sofa spot. Greyhounds are thin by nature, but your can see here she's a bit too thin even for a Greyhound. Fattening her up has been a real challenge. She's such a good girl.
-
Thanks. Your thread should stand. This is Off The Wall.. different standards should apply. I wish you grace in whatever situation faces you.
-
Yep. They pumped up her up with IV's. That seems to have been the turning point. Right now, liver numbers are elevated. We'll have to figure that out.

*** UPDATE *** Thank you everyone one for kind words of understanding and support. Diagnosis: Leptospirosis, which is very hard to treat, often fatal. I couldn't afford the overnight vet hospital bills any longer, 3 nights was enough. I told the vet she was coming home--one way or another. So I brought Lilly home with a sack full of pills to administer. She is resting in her favorite spot and being a darn good patient. I love her. Wish me luck at being a dog nurse.
-
Thank you for your words. Here I am days and many dollars later, trying to decide the best action. She was not doing well at the Vet today, and clearly wanted to come home. I'm tempted to bring her home tomorrow for a good nights sleep on the sofa with my daughter, then bring her back to be put down. I'm crying now, which is unusual for me. Yes. They do a daily CBC. Nothing stands out as a cause. Right now she is stable, but has a continuous twitch which the Vet attributes to elevated sodium and imbalanced electrolytes. It's no way to live, I don't know how much longer I'll let it go on.

I must misunderstand contract extensions. I thought they lock you in. I didn't know you could sign an extension, then leave whenever you want. Heh.
