No. Contrary, with some exceptions, the OL has done well in the physicality department. The DL isn't the most physical in the league but I don't attribute that to coach demeanor... I think the DL is lighter weight than average and geared for speed and technique rather than an in your face slugfest.

The talking heads say a McDermott coached team will be prepared, regardless of circumstance or opponents. I'm just not buying it. To twist a phrase from High School Musical: they didn't have their head in the game. Who knows, it could be a bye week phenomena. But I suspect it's failure of the coaching staff to keep the players humbled and hungry after their recent successes. McD is now a .500 coach. But the losses are fugly and reflect poorly on team preparation.
